Testing the Sith and herself. (Open training/duel)

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra strode though the confines of the sith controlled halls as she made her way to the training areas within the citadel. She was curious as to the training methods of the Sith and seeing as she was to fight beside them she found it would be a good idea to study their training sessions and perhaps partake in them herself. It had been a week since her meeting... no reunion with [member="Darth Praelior"] and she was curious now that she was back from visiting the Order if it was time to improve herself here.

She entered the room and breathed in, welcoming the aura that teh place gave off though it left her with a chill up her spine. She was not attuned to the dark like the rest of the Sith were, hell she preferred not even to call herself a sith and though she had chosen a Darth title she refused to use it in replacement of her name. Unorthodox and dangerous, but she was careful to make sure she fought for those who owned her future.

Her hand took up her datapad as she stood along the edge of the room, letting those enter and leave as she watched them and recorded her thoughts, several times though Sith saw her and interrupted her concentration by questioning why she was there. It took a bit of force though to get them off her back as well as proof she was with the One Sith, a rather annoying and constant cycle of study, concentration, and then proving herself. So instead she now sat there alone, eyes closed and mind focused inwards as she waited to see who it would be that would come to perhaps test her next.

(( OOC: Just what ever, come and duel me, or come for a insightful talk, or whatever. I dont really care what kind of training is partaken in or who comes along to do so. ))

Hearing and seeing Alexandra was in the temple was interesting mostly because despite everything said the girl had come willingly. She knew the score even and still came, they weren't sith like in the past. They killed and slaughtered but they wanted order and served a united purpose, that was good enough for many as the time went on and she had to admit to some enjoyment now. Her hands tapping the wall as her claw screeched scrapping scross it.

The other part was what had come from her old apprentice, plenty of dangerous and interesting energies that had her reeling and moving about. Two for the price of one and that apprentice, a fourth with Elara but the child was learning as she went. As a prodigy and true heir to her master. The smile curving her lips however and Balaya entered the room the mark of darkness shimmering along the side of her cheek and fading away. "Hello my apprentice."

Alexandra looked up at the woman for a moment before laughing softly before closing her eyes again and speaking. "You do realize that I am no longer the weakling you considered an apprentice right? I think the proper terms would be former apprentice, or perhaps my own name would fit better as it is the one that belongs to me." She looked up at the woman again as she finished.

Arturious slipped through the city a tall figure in a black robe hood pulled over obscuring any distinguishing features looking for what ever he could find or whatever crossed his path. Much like his previous stop he had no destination in mind he had no plan he just walked until he saw or heard something that interested him.

It was not too long before the Citadel came into view. He stared at it for a long moment not sure why but something subtle seemed to pull at him deep in the pit of his stomach urging him into the building. It was almost as if something deep inside was telling him for the first time in his wretched life he had found somewhere to call home somewhere he felt like he actually belonged.

Arturious stepped inside ignoring the calls of the guard at the entrance asking him who he was. The feeling of being inside was electrifying. Sensations of heat, cold, fear, dread, excitement, every feeling imaginable shot through him.

As he continued to walk he began to hear the sounds of clashing metal on metal and grunts of effort. Arturious gave what passed for a smile a slight almost unnoticeable up curve at the left corner of his mouth stepping into the training room to have a look around.

((small OOC note: Arturious' feel in the force would be subtle and then chaotic to everyone around like a pressure washer with air in line. Jumping from pouring out uncontrollably to practically untraceable and back again at random.))

Alexandra looked up at the new come and smiled, standing and bumping into Balaya 'by accident'. "Sorry my former master, it seems ive found my newest test dummy, and im sure you would love to see this no doubt." She grinned as she walked off towards Arturious, shouting at him as he entered the area and rolling her head. "Hey you, are you an Acolyte, or a full sith?" She walked right up to him without pause, or attempt to hide she held no dark side corruption to speak of, her eyes peering right into the man as she stood there with a smile on her face. "Either way, im sure that it doesn't matter, you are still weak."

Hahaha laughed and getting bumped into by Alexandra to her was more a joke. ONly as she moved tto turn around and see. "Oh I shall enjoy this and then we will have to talk Alexandra, there is a small thing that has to be done for one to be safe here. Nothing dangerous, nothign that requires you to kill or even get angry but all members but have it. So someone doesn't kill you or try to."

Arturious was watching acolytes practice their forms in two in threes and even a group of six playing a game all to well when his thoughts were interrupted. Arturious continued to focus on the duel he was watching before turning to the source of the interruption.

"Are you simply a title forced upon you by others or are you the sum of your experiences." "Are there so many of your number in this Academy that you can't tell the difference between a new face and an old one?"

Arturious turns walking towards an empty dueling circle removing his cloak to reveal loose robes, setting a short sword with an 18 inch blade attached to a 6 inch hilt lightly on top of the cloak. Picking up a training saber Arturious lightly touches his dueling saber on his hip before thinking else of it and leaving it attached to his belt. Turning back to the woman he turns up the training saber in a form of a salute before swiftly cutting it flicking his wrist the back of his hand facing out towards her the tip of the saber just barely of the floor six inches from his right foot.

"My name is Arturious not that you asked and I came here to complete my training among those who do not consider the art of the sword a useless art to be cast aside." "Your challenge is accepted may be the best Swordsman or Woman be the victor."

The six foot two Arturious quietly awaits his opponent without another word.

This, took alex utterly by surprise considering all she was expecting. The man was composed and betrayed no anger at what she had said and this simply excited her as she uncliped her own saber and turned it in her hand before lowering her body into a makashi battle stance. "After you my friend, and it seems simple insults do not touch you like they do others... this is going to be fun to watch." She smiled immensely and waited for him to make a move, one she would be waiting for.

Arturious circled the woman watching her reaction to him taking a brief moment to study her before lifting the training saber up gripping it with both hands lifting slightly more edging towards his right side as he continued another half circle around her his gaze focused on her upper body looking for subtle reactions before dropping into a slight crouch and launching himself forward to bring an over head strike down testing her defense.

She smiled and watched him as well, though she attempted to betray nothing in her stance past watching and waiting for his strike to come, and in that very moment that her thought came on his attack, it had come in truth. She moved her saber into the way of the descending blade that connected with her saber reinforcing the defense with a bit of force energy as she attempted to hold his strike there while she stared at the mans eyes and grinned at the fact he was not reckless like others. This excited her more than any dangerous situation did and as she jumped back to break the saber lock, the smile grew. "Is that all?"

Arturious smiled or in his case a brief up turn of the corner of his mouth that is the closest thing to a smile anyone would ever see.

"Come now did you really think I would just rush in blind swinging wildly?"

Arturious turned 45 degrees towards the closest wall running a few steps up it in an arch springing off the wall even with her left shoulder thrusting out with his saber jabbing at an downward angle even with the center of her chest.

While the move he tried to complete was flashy, it was stupid. He had no stable footing and she was fully ready to take advantage of that as she raised her hand and sent a wave of force energy right into his body as he came soaring down to strike her. After that though she would go on the offensive, moving towards him at a constant pace and letting time roll on and pass while she slowly made her way into position with her blade rose to strike when in range.

Arturious cursed softly as the force wave sent him flying tucking and rolling until he stopped crouched on one knee using the opposite hand to steady himself. Arturious lifted his head looking at the woman as she advanced taking a moment to shrug off effect of the wave.

"I was beginning to wonder when you would decide to press the attack."

She smiled and brought her saber to the side as she drew a second one to her hand from her belt and turned it on as well. "Oh dont worry, you are going to have alot of fun fighting me, especially in a place where i excel." She brought her sabers into an X infront of her before finally closing the distance and striking out at him with the full length blade, the shoto kept in guard position in case the cut, which would come from the left shoulder down to the right hip, missed.

Arturious brought up his on saber rising to his feet in a vertical point down deflective parry at her blade bringing it through countering with a diagonally slash of his own followed by a horizontal slice towards her shoulder sure the first attack would miss.

"You say that like I do this for fun."

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
"What other reason is there for this, the thrill of the battle, and the excitement of the chance of death." She blocked his saber with the shoto, but just barely as she moved to push off it and move back a few steps, reassessing the man before her and her smile remaining on her face. 'He's good for someone ive never seen before, looks like not all Sith Acolytes are weaklings or rash, he could be a threat if taught well to other Sith.' Her mind spoke from within, watching him still very carefully. "You know, i think i find you interesting, perhaps you can beat me after all."

Arturious raises his saber back up just off to his right side both hands gripping the hilt.

"My parents were murdered when I was six, I was a slave until I was twelve, and a prisoner until I was eighteen." "I fight to survive, vengeance is my thrill and death is only a breath away." "It is not death that matters but how you face it." "On your feet sword in hand or on your knees begging for another breath." "I was raised.............. no forged by combat from the day my parents died until today." "I will not turn down a challenge to fight either for my life or for the sake of self improvement."

Arturious stalks forward to return to their duel raising his saber just slightly.

Balaya didn't need to speak, her former apprentice was there and she stood with her arms under her chest framing herself while she watched. Her mouth moving just a little and chanting as she focused on Alexandra. Sith sorcery to focus on her and feed her power, if Hel was here there could be interesting problems while she pushed force energy through enhancement spells into her.

She smiled and renewed a blast of energy she hadn't realized she had, which she didn't as it was simple power being fed to her by [member="Darth Praelior"] unknowingly. Her hand holding the longer blade whipped around and down at the Sith's sword arm while her Shoto shot out at the same time, aimed to deliver a hard blow right at the man's stomach, she was unsure just how effective the strikes would be but if she could deliver some damage it would make this fight all the easier in the long run.

Arturious watches the woman waiting for the next attack or whatever would happen. His focus as always on her torso looking for any flinch or betrayal of her action.

His eyes widen slightly as he almost did not see the longer blade whip around until he almost hit him dropping into a slight crouch flashing his blade up point down to block the shot his body reacting instinctively leaning into the block.

Arturious growls in a combination of surprise and anger as the blade of the shoto rakes across his chest dropping to one knee when it does trying to stay on his feet.
