Testing the Sith and herself. (Open training/duel)

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
"Good, but when you are fighting and enemy with two sabers it presents them with far more options than you, especially when those sabers are made to cause psychological damage to the opponent." She put the sabers hilt to hilt and twisted, both magnetically sealing to become a saber staff, her next move to even out the blade length with the adjuster on the blades, though she left the power field on high so that her blades would not cause any... permanent harm. "Ready for round two?" She spun the blade until it was held behind her, both sides ignited as she jumped back and landed fifteen meters away from him, her free hand held out infront of her.

Arturious looked at the woman watching as the two sabers became one and she cut off her attack.

"You have been holding back and halt your attack when the victory is yours giving me time to catch my breath and counter." "Why?"

Arturious lightly touches the fresh wound on his chest grimacing slightly rising to his feet.

"You change techniques likes you change clothes." "So either you are trying to master all the forums at the same time or you don't think you can beat me using just one or two of them."

Arturious paces back and forth a few times reaching down trying to tap into enough to finish this.

"You speak of expanded options while switch to a staff which only gives the illusion of more options without actually providing them."

Arturious charges forward moving just slightly faster than he had been quickly bringing his saber to bare in three quick strikes first straight down striking overhead then to the right shoulder and then the left.

Alexandra grinned as he began his assault and spun the blade to her front before working with her whole body to block the strikes that came down at her. She knew how to use the saberstaff very well and matched it best with her Niman form as she used elements of Jar'Kai fencing in it too. But the most important part of any of this was the constant flow of force energy that came though her as she silently asked for the Force's help. Her own aura, that held not a tinge of darkside energy to it, soon grew and was attempting to swallow the man infront of her. His assault did hit her once, her left shoulder now a bit more... pained than before but she was not done. Spinning the blade once more she began to deliver a flurry of hard blows against the man and was building up momentum for a strike that came after five or six strikes as she turned and aimed a kick right at his chest, even channeling force energy into and through the kick to knock him off his feet if possible.

Arturious barely registered the successful hit as a flurry returned from the woman trying his best to stand his ground not giving up an inch to her onslaught. In the effort to block her strikes the kick he was not expecting caught him dead in the chest flipping him backwards letting the momentum carry until he rolled back to his feet launching himself forward again not wanting to let her catch her breath returning his own flurry of five strikes from the left then the right back to the left again before dropping and driving his shoulder towards her stomach to try and force her off balance while he still had the strength to fight which was draining faster than he wanted to admit the wound to his chest beginning to sap his strength.

Alexandra broke the magnetic lock as he closed the distance towards her once more and began a rapid defensive stance, gaurding, blocking, and parrying rather than even attempting a hit, she was waiting for him to become slow and the less she had to do the better in terms of fighting, she would begin to generate a large source of power in her arms though, static running over her right hand while in her left kinetic energy began to generate, she needed an opening and then this fight would be over.

Arturious became frustrated as his attacks seemed to have no effect on his opponent. Arturious would break off his attack and leap back a few feet and begin to circle the onset of fatigue becoming evident in his posture. Arturious looked for an opening a mix of admiration and annoyance bubbling under the surface at not being able to find an exploitable opening in his opponent.

Arturious closed his eyes for a moment taking a deep breath his feel in the force would drop lightly and then spike as his hand shot out a small shock shooting from his hand towards her only a few seconds before he would leap using what strength he had left to bring an overhead strike down on her.

Alexandra watched him back away and send the shock at her, her body moving to the side and only just senting its footing when he shot forward and came down with a over head strike. Plain blocking it would be useless, wasting far too much energy to keep his blade from coming down on her even if she used both blades together, and to dodge it would leave her open for an almost instant counterstrike.

So instead she took option three, raising one blade it would catch his strike and instead of resist it she would absorb and fall with the blade, and as she did her second saber would come up and she would hammer it into his stomach, of course it wouldn't pierce and kill him, but oh would it hurt if this worked, if not she would leave herself directly open as she lay on the ground due to the overhead strike.

Arturious leans into the strike as they fall trying to push through the block considering pinning her into a saber lock on the ground forcing a surrender to end the duel on his terms. His idea was dashed as the second saber connects. Arturious feels the air sucked out of him as he rolls out breaking the strike doubled over on his knees and one hand near her left shoulder.

With his other hand his sticks the tip of the saber on the ground half using the saber to prop on and half signaling the end of their duel as he takes a minute to try and catch his breath his gaze still focused on the woman.

She didn't even try to get up as she lay there, her chest going up and down as she smiled and just began to laugh for almost a full minute, no words came from her as the joyful and unending laugh continued. It was a bit... odd though, as the laugh instead of sounding tired or force, it was fluid and joyful, and in that moment her own aura flared with energy, more light than normal as she finally sighed at the end and rested her head on her hands as she lay there.

Balaya stepped up and over to stand above Alexandra while she heard the laughing. How interesting was all she could think while offering a hand down to her former apprentice and speaking. "And what is so funny Alexandra?"

"That, was so much fun, are you ok over there?" She took Balaya's hand and looked over at [member="Arturious Engel"], the smile wide and plastered over her face as she spoke to him now and walked over. "That was one of the best fights in a while, for a moment there i didn't think that last strike would have hit you."

Arturious looked at the woman as she laughed but even more so at the woman who stepped into the circle. A woman Arturious had been vaguely aware of during the duel but had not paid much attention to.

Arturious forced himself to his feet grimacing as the pain from his wounds at the hand of the woman raced like fire the adrenaline from the duel gone leaving only the after effects.

Arturious frowned not finding anything about what had taken place amusing and a little miffed that his opponent apparently could not contain her laughter.

"It would seem you have come out the victor and proven yourself stronger stranger." "Well done I shall have to train harder as it seems I have found here in this place what I had hoped I would."

Balaya looked at the two and raised an eyebrow. "You have done well Alexandra, while I wish you would have given into the anger. I see your still receptive to my spells." She gave it a moment before holding a hand up. "Strengthening those I wish with the force is easy enough now that I have been studying one of the grimores of Sorzus Syn."

"There was no need for that, in all honesty i wish you had not helped me my -former- Master, it is cheating and cheap... infact i have an offer to make in light of this." She looked at [member="Arturious Engel"] and smiled wide as she held out her hand to him after placing her sabers on her side before making a quick bow of respect to him. "If you would do me the honor, i would like to know your name and offer you something that can make you one day strong enough to laugh yourself after beating me in a duel, hopefully a non lethal duel of course."

Arturious looked at the woman.

"There is no dishonor in receiving assistance in feats of honor and conquest as no doubt your enemy would do the same."

Arturious inclined his head to her making sure to not lower his gaze from hers more out of habit than anything else.

"As I said when you issued your challenge my name is Arturious, Arturious Engel if you require the full spill." "Though if you goal is to incite laughter after the end of a duel then I must warn you that you do not have the lifetimes it would take to accomplish such an idea." "I find no amusement in the art of the Sword whether in victory or defeat."

"Damn, you sith are a let down some times Balaya, worse than the Jedi even. Atleast they know how to laugh at things without having to dwell on the duel itself and how it ended. No i do not plan to make you laugh, but i do plan to still offer you my knowledge and with the hope that you will be able to defeat me one day without trouble, of course that all depends on if you want my training i offer or not."

Arturious looks at the woman.

"Who said I was Sith?" "I came here to train, to learn, to grow stronger." "Does my mere presence in an Academy of Sith make me so?"

"I am no more Sith than your friend there is Jedi." "I don't fight for a cause or a belief I fight for me." "I fight for survival...my survival." "Anything else is a minor detail not worth thinking about."

Arturious moves over placing the training saber back in it's spot.

"You don't seem to be the type to talk philosophy so why don't we start with who you are and then we can discuss what opportunities you may have to offer."

Balaya looked at Alexandra and laughed to herself now. This was quite enjoyable to see and she heard the sound of the dark'chyle saber joining in. "You are both amusing but you apprentice shall learn." she didn't say who just held out a hand and Elara the girl she had gotten from Coruscant with Alex was there ready with a hood covering her tattoo's. "We shall see though Alexandra don't go trying to convert or teach to many. Don't want the others to notice or Kaine... he still remembers when you tried to kill him." She didn't mention Kaine had faked his death and was there wearing a mask with a new force signature, only a few people knew it was him at all.

"Tried, and failed, to Kill him. Trust me, im not so stupid as to do that again any time soon, infact if there was anyone that i would kill to get ahead in the One Sith it would be a certain Zeltron Sith Lord that is standing about... a yard or two from me?" She smiled at her former master, waiting to see how Balaya reacted to the utterly empty threat, in truth Alexandra had not wish to rule the One Sith, and nor did she even want to get into a role of leadership. She was happy to cut down who ever it was that stood in the way of making her family and followers safe though, and with the One Sith she saw it as a possibility of finally happening. "ANYWAYS, i am Alexandra Cinthra, Daughter of a Gladiator and Former Jedi, orphan of both and student of a master who has also passed to a Sith Blade. I am a Former Sith Acolyte like you, whos master stands before us and a rogue force user that has studied both dark and light before choosing my own path. I don't look to convert you but i do offer you training in what ever arts i can teach you, those including telekinetics, telepathy, healing, lightning, and illusions. Past that just ask and you shall receive an answer."

Balaya shived looking at Alexandra and spoke. "Ohhh so exciting. If you want to fight sweetie, I will show you just as much skill with my blade as you once saw in the bedroom." SHe winked making the joke and turned walking away as the small child with her grinned then laughed. "You two have fun now."
