OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: To flesh out Enyo's clone posse.
- Image Credit: Here. Found on shutterstock.com. By Nejron Photo.
- Role: Sibling of Enyo and Amara, clone of Phylis Alince. Thalia is the youngest member of the clone posse and this is reflected in her attitude. She's a good brawler, fighter and vehicle pilot.
- Links: Phylis Alince, Enyo Typhos, Amara Zarides, Archangel Research and Design, Cultural Achievements, The Shadow of Unity, Breaking Elysium.
- Age: Less than a year since she's a clone. Has the body of a young woman who's about 18.
- Force Sensitivity: Apprentice
- Species: Cloned Human
- Appearance: While Thalia looks like a younger Phylis, one can easily tell from appearances alone that both have very little in common. From the short and swept hair, to the midriff-showing shirt, the spiked arm bracelets, torn jeans and combat boots, Thalia is doing her best to be an individual. She's probably trying a bit too hard. She's dyed her hair to distinguish herself from Phylis. Enyo drew the line at a tongue piercing and literally dragged her out of the shop. Once when Thalia got a tattoo with an expletive on it, Enyo forced her to have it surgically removed. Then proceeded to administer punishment to the unfortunate tattooer. She's properly dressed in combat situations though.

While the clone is smarter than she lets on, most of the time she cannot be bothered. Whilst Phylis is socially awkward and adheres to a vow of chastity, Thalia is a bit of a flirt. Ironically, this frustrates Enyo, for the cyborg is a puritan. Sadly, Thalia's love life is less active than the clone would like because her caretaker is an overprotective cyborg who tends to scare would-be lovers away. Despite these characteristics, Thalia is ultimately loyal to her family, but still always tries to push boundaries. In other words, like the typical teenager. She has a fondness for practical jokes and assigning nicknames to people. Enyo is usually addressed as Metal Lady or Robo-Mum. Both irritate the Terminatrix a lot, who finds Thalia's rebellious attitude tiring. Alas, she cannot punish her in the same way as she'd do with her minions. She's found other ways to discipline her though, like every good helicopter parent. She is very curt and strict with Thalia. For her part, the young clone alternates between acting out and seeking her elder sister's approval, as Enyo is the closest thing she has to a parent. When it comes to her relationship with Enyo and Amara, the girl has a tendency of playing 'mummy, daddy' games. In other words, when she wants something, she goes from one to the other in the hope of getting a better answer. She gets on well with Chiyoko, but tends to ignore or annoy the other clones. She has a rivalry with Alexia. On the positive side, Thalia is brave, has good reflexes and is good at piloting swoops and speeder bikes. Regarding driving, her attitude towards speed limits can be summed as 'those exist for losers who get caught'.
COMBAT INFORMATION
- Weapon of Choice: Lightsabre, military blasters, explosives, the Force. Is jealous of Enyo's rail-minigun and beskar hammer and would like her own...though this has been consistently denied. Can use a vibroaxe and a repeating blaster though. In sabre combat, she tends to dual wield, combining a lightsabre with a shoto.
In lightsabre duels, she favours Ataru and Djem So. Conversely, she's weaker on defence, which is one of the template's strong points. She prefers to attack fast and hit hard. This coupled with her overconfidence and recklessness can cause her to underestimate dangers or stubbornly fight on when a tactical retreat might be the more prudent course of action. It could also put her in a weaker position when she is facing multiple combatants armed with blasters or other ranged weapons, if they are able to outmanoeuvre and surround her.
Similarly, she'd be at a disadvantage in lightsabre combat if she faced a defensively skilled duellist who can parry and redirect her offence while she tires herself out. In other words, someone who applies the tactics her template does. Thalia has received basic ranged weapons training. She's good with guns that don't require her to think or aim much, such as subrepeating blasters, personal repeating blasters and shotguns. By contrast, she's a poor precision shooter.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
One wonders how Master Alince would react if she learned that a genocidal machine cult had decided to clone her. One imagines that there would have been plenty of hmmphs. Either way, Archangel acquired a DNA sample of hers through illicit means at a science conference. It was put to good use by creating Thalia. Flash learning gave the clone everything she needed to know. Alas, Enyo and Amara liberated her along with the rest of her 'clone siblings', minus the second clone of Siobhan Kerrigan, who'd already been taken elsewhere.
Even if she had not been whisked away, it is doubtful that Archangel would have been happy with this clone. In all likelihood, they would have either terminated Thalia and started over, or simply lobotomised her. Once again, organic unpredictability and willfulness wreaked havoc over the best-laid plans, for Thalia turned out to be...very different from her template.
She was supposed to be the dark mirror of Phylis. Freed from the Jedi's moral qualms, she would have used her talent for alchemy to serve the cause of Archangel. Alas, after Thalia awoke and was made aware of the truth, she decided to be a rebel. Every clone reacts differently to learning that they're the biological duplicate of someone else.
Some become obsessed with their template, desiring to surpass or kill them. An example of this mentality would be Enyo. Some are fairly relaxed but curious about them, such as Thuella. Others make a conscious decision to be as different from their mirror as possible, such as Amara, who was so horrified by the evil Kaelin wrought that she decided to try and walk the path of the light. Thalia also made a decision to walk her own path. Except her template is not a deviant psychopath, she's simply a...dull bookworm.
At least that's Thalia's perspective. Suffice to say she's been the most difficult clone to raise. However, while showed a tendency to act like a surly teenager, Thalia soon showed an aptitude for combat and a desire to engage with it. So she received training from Enyo or her 'associates' in the Iron Fist Consortium. The training was harsh, but one of the areas she displayed enthusiasm for. Aside from participating in some gang wars and raids, she got field experience on Malachor V, where Enyo and her minions helped the Sith Empire purge the Trayus Academy of trespassing dark cultists and wild Sithspawn.
