Darth Abyss
Eldritch
For just a second he was surprised by the incoming blade, but the feeling was quickly replaced by satisfaction. Honor was a weakness, it was just another chain that people forced on themselves for reasons that had no place in the order of the sith. Yet many sith, even many of the powerful Lords, held and sense of honor, something he had exploited in a number of encounters. To now have an apprentice that understood this felt good, it was prove that he had been right about seeking her out as an replacement for those before her.
Instead of blocking her strike, he made a few short, quick steps back, avoiding being touched by the blue plasma blade. She had understood the meaning of her punishment as well, which meant that he didn't had to hold back anything now anymore. Learning under a sith meant to simply watch a master as close as possible, while staying alive in a session like this. A block would've been fancier, but he survived because his style of combat was simple yet efficient.
The answer to her attack followed only a moment later. His blade fell down on her in a straight strike from above her, only to break its path halfway. Twisting his wrist to the left the direction changed as did the angle, the crimson plasma blade aimed at her left thigh. If she had been perceptive before and if she was able to keep her fire contained to be channeled at a better time than now, she would do like him and simply use footwork to evade the strike instead of blocking it.
