Tyranus grabs his lightsaber from his side and then clicks on the lightsaber shaft with a orange blade extending. He flipped over a incoming droid and stabbed the lightsaber into the back of the droid causing it to fall to the ground. He continued to keep his connection while he used his free right hand and began to crush a droid causing it to shrivel up into a cube, he dropped it to the ground and then he threw his lightsaber, having it embed itself into a Droid Behind Venris ready to strike. He recalled the blade with the grasp of his hand and then suddenly turned and shot a stream of lightning towards a droid attacking Zavzen. He then turned and ducked as a droid with great accuracy chopped at where his head was, nearly missing his neck. Tyranus in response held the droid up with his right hand and then sliced the lightsaber across the neck of the droid in his hand decapitate the droid, causing the head to fall to the ground and roll to his feet.

Vassara seeing Venris toss his saber through his own eyes, tracked it easily as it crossed multiple perspectives and fell neatly into her hand. She grinned, filling the link with elation, a rather uplifting emotion. She could see them all engage their targets.

Now with two blades she shifted her footing, loosening up her stance. Her own Sapphire blade whirled vertically in a circle, bashing away the droids strikes. The second blade came down with a diagonal strike towards the left shoulder.

Vassra drew energy from the link, intensifying her speed with the force connection of the group and applying maximum pressure to both strikes. Her superhuman strength ripped the staff free of the droids mechanized fingers.

As it clattered to the ground the second strike landed and smashed it to ground, rolling end over end. This time it did not rest itself and Vassara returned to her natural guard position. Feet tight blades held parallel to each other at a diagonal angle.

That was good. Excellent teamwork. Do you guys feel you've had enough? Can we move to the next phase?

Zavzen sighed as he lowered his blades, the last of the enemy stopping there result. He could feel satisfaction over the link that he shared with the others. When Vassara's voice rang through his head asking if he wanted to stop or keep testing the link, he sighed in consideration.

"I wish to continue." Was the answer he eventually sent over the link, wanting to keep going to make sure he could train himself in the skill as much as possible, after all he didn't know when he would need it.

Venris tossed aside the staff he had taken from the droids and spoke at the same time as Zavzen, matching him word for word right down to the pronunciation from start to end. Glancing over at the Zabrak, Venris chuckled. "That's going to become a running gag with this, I can already tell." He held up one hand and called his lightsaber back to his waiting grasp. "So we know that we can share entire styles of lightsaber forms now. That will be particularly useful in a situation we aren't individually suited to, and this whole thing already makes us into an army of five."

He shook his head. "I try not to think about how much potential we've yet to tap with this, but either somebody else here is or I just can't get it out of my head. We need to be especially careful with this technique...probably shouldn't go using it in the field until we've fully mastered it."

Agreed. OK now we're tweaking the situation. Everyone close your eyes, and prepare to defend. I'll be your only sight, but I will not fight, simply observe. See if you can use my sight to do your tasks.

Vassara stepped out of the circle now and across the room. She was gazing upon the group from the corner. Crouching she watched in interest. She had never tried this before and was very curious to see how it played out. Good thing the staffs were stun and not real.

The droids reset themselves in their spaces and Vassara muttered an order to them.

"Attack!"

 

[Daniel Imura]

As the droids popped up to life, Daniel attacked the first one he saw, whipping out his heavy pistol and smacking it across the face. Sliding it back into its holster, he grabbed his slugsword and slashed at it then, cutting its torso slightly. All the while it was a bit disorienting for him, seeing through his own eyes as well as Zavzen's, Venris's, and Vassara's. Because if this, the second droid quickly caught him off guard as he looked through Tyranus's eyes, thinking they were his own. After a moment, he wound up dispatching the droid, but not without wounding his pride.

When Vassara mentioned trying something new, Daniel immediately sensed the idea coming from her mind. Defending against the droids, rather than attacking them. Sending a thought through the group, he would intend for them to make an outward circle, so that they each covered each other's weaknesses. Readying his sword, he then waited or the first droid to attack him.

Tyranus nods and then runs towards a new droid and attacks the droid in a flurry of lightsaber swings. The droid falls to the ground and then Tyranus throws his lightsaber towards a nearby droid impaling it in the head. A droid runs up to Tyranus and he blocks the first attack with his arms and then grabs the Droid by the head and slammed the head of the droid into his knee pad causing a dent to form on the head of the droid. While the droid was confused, Tyranus grabbed the staff from the droid and then slammed it into the Droid's chest causing it to fall to the ground.

Venris shut his eyes and slowly assumed the opening stance of Soresu once more as the droids started up. Based on Vassara's vision, Venris carefully began to line himself up with the others to cover them from one direction, but immediately found it both disorienting to endure what was basically an out of body experience and hard to counter the attacks of two droids at once while avoiding the attacks of the others. Venris wound up being swatted a few times by the droids before managing to slowly get the hang of positioning his lightsaber in just the right way to block their attack, as was the advantage of Soresu, but still found it difficult to keep up with the droids moving as fast as they did.

I can only imagine the other benefits to this technique-OW! I just hope that when we test for them I'm not down here taking a beating. Venris forced a smile even as he was whacked on the back by a droid's staff. Okay, hold on...there! He managed to raised his arms up, angle his lightsaber down behind his back, and block the next attack by the droid before swiftly decapitating it. There we go, starting to get used to this now.

 

[Zavzen Sae'ryx]

"I need a drink." Zavzen muttered when Vassara revealed her plan, "Something strong." When he realised what he had said he jerked slightly, "Alright, who's making me want alcohol over tea." He growled quietly, not wanting them to take him seriously on something he meant in jest. Sighing he decided to follow Daniel's idea and walked over to him, uncaring of the droids around him. This was because he was currently generating the same field he was when he made his way to the hanger in the first place and any attack that was aimed at him and any droid that he walked past passed through him like he wasn't there. As he was walking Zavzen closed his eyes and focused on Vassara's vision, partially succeeding as every now and then he would see through some else's eyes as he slipped.

When he reached Daniel, Zavzen dropped the field and turned so that he was back to back with the ice user. Keeping his eyes closed Zavzen's swords came up to block a thrust that would of hit him in the chest and redirected it towards a second droid, which suffered from the electrical shock and shut down.

As he observed the attempts of Venris, Zazven sighed and pushed his knowledge of Makashi and Shien towards him, maybe Makashi's minimalistic style and Shien's aim of redirecting attacks would help him.

The crew was good and she was satisfied they could hold their own now. As she waited for them to finish her mind began to look ahead, conjuring up thoughts of the future. The Jedi code was a guide yes, but there was more to it. Things beyond even the creed of the Sith.

She intended to become the greatest master this galaxy had ever known.
