The Awakening: A tale of two rebirths.

The sudden swing made Sinda fall back as both hers and Anya's blades shattered. So much power went into her attack that Sinda realized how properly trained [member="Anya Loma"] was. She got to her feet and realized they were both without weapons. She felt it time to go down and dirty with it. She approached with a fist raised to strike her enemy if need be. She had to fight like this for so long what better way than to use it on a prime and proper girl like Anya and show what real fighting was like.

[member="Vengeance"]

Anya got her breath back, she focused back on the enemy , [member="Sinda Tivan "]had her fist uo and so Anya did so, she looked at her

heheheh I am having soooooo much fun to bad the toys broke....oh well

She said she then charged at her, she would tackle her and straddled her stomach, she then started raining punches and more more more till her fist hurt and she moved back

[member="Vengeance"]

Vengeance shook his head moving forward and breaking the two of them up.

"If you want to fight like savages I can toss you both in a cage and leave you there."

He stood between the two women looking first at Sinda.

"Acting like that you will never survive much less become Sith. There is being untrained and there is what you are. I should have left you to rot in the slave pens."

He turned to Anya.

"You cheated and worse off you broke my swords. If you were going to do that you should have broken her...........the swords cost me more than she did. Now go and get three more of them and come back over here."

He sighed shaking his head. When Anya returned he took two of the training swords handing one of them to Sinda. Then he move position them facing the wall with him standing in between them.

"Now we train properly."

[member="Anya Loma"] [member="Sinda Tivan"]

Between all of it Sinda managed a few punches on [member="Anya Loma"] just as she did her. It wasn't until [member="Vengeance"] broke them up that she got to her feet, feeling how sore her cheeks were from all the hitting. She rubbed them while giving a sneer to the master for saying she wasn't worth having been bought. She said nothing else but stood and waited until new swords were brought out. From the looks of it the master was now going to be involved. If that was the case then so be it, Sinda didn't care. She just wanted to prove she could be as strong as Anya, maybe even more.

Anya panted as she was split away, she whipped her nose, the pain, it felt good....yet she knew the injuries would be felt for days and accepted the pain would give her strength , she bowed her head

my apologies sir....I didn't wish to harm this....thing, I shall get those three

She left, she smirked however, she felt this was a victory for her, she cane back with the blades and handed two to him, she them moved in position

[member="Sinda Tivan "][member="Vengeance"]

Vengeance sighed.

"Ok you always want to maintain a good stance. Good balance, fluid posture."

He demonstrated his feet about should width apart one foot slightly forward of the other.

"The manner in which you grip the sword should fit your style and ability."

He briefly twirled the sword around in a vertical circle before bring it up in front of him in a two handed grip.

"You can use a two handed grip.................."

He let go with one hand.

"...............or a one handed grip. The question becomes though what to do with the second hand. Do you jsut let it hang awkwardly, do you keep it tight to your body, or do you also use it as a weapon."

He glanced towards Sinda.

"With your skill level I recommend a two handed grip."

[member="Anya Loma"] [member="Sinda Tivan"]

Standing at his side as he demonstrated Sinda watched his positioning and footing and the like while mimicking as best as possible. The Force Sight allowed for a basic understanding of her environments but an accurate portray of the act wasn't always guaranteed. When he mentioned how she should use two hands for her blade she sighed, gripping as he suggested. It brought her back to when she would play fight with stick figures or drawings on the wall, finding a branch and twirling it like a staff or jabbing like a sword. The closest thing to fighting until recently.

[member="Vengeance"] [member="Anya Loma"]

She nodded and followed, she had her feet a foot apart, however she held her blade with two hands finding better striking power with it alomg side stability and control

oh listen to him, that's the only way to get strong...that's what made me stronger

She said with her advice given she focused back on the training moving her bkade, not as fluid as [member="Vengeance"], but a little fluid, she still needed to refine her training better

@Sinda Tivan

Vengeance raised his sword up over his head and slowly brought in back down in a slowly strike. He then brought it back up and then this time made a diagonal left to right slash, then back up for a right to left slash.

"Work your angles..........you never want to do the same attack twice in a row or attack from the same angle the same way twice in a row. You want to constantly mix it up. Constantly keep your opponent guessing and on the defensive. It is the cleanest way to victory."

[member="Anya Loma"] [member="Sinda Tivan"]

Despite [member="Anya Loma"] trying to play brown nose to her master, which Sinda disliked about her even more, she followed [member="Vengeance"] 's instructions as they continued on. No one move would be the same. Everything was a guessing game to keep the opponent off balance. Out think them. Out smart them. Making them think you go one way only to come in from another. That sort of thing. Sinda had not realized. She was too occupied on the idea of just trying to hit something to consider all of these smaller details.

She hummed gently, a small tune to herself as she moved, practicing her attacks moving in a random pattern, she looked over to [member="Sinda Tivan "]and couldn't happen but a small smile that went away quickly, the girl had potential....almsot like herself lomg ago...but Anya still had untapped potential...

[member="Vengeance"]

He ignored the tension clearly evident between the two of them. Though it did make him curious if they be constantly be at each other's throats when he wasn't around. That would be unproductive and he had hopes that Anya would know better than to reduce herself to such lows.

He took a step forward and turned centering himself in front of Anya.

"On the same token in a defensive manner you have multiple choices. You can block, you can dodge, you can parry, you can counter, or you can jam your opponents attack."

He motioned with his free hand to Anya.

"Now Anya is going to run through a basic seven attack sequence and I will demonstrate each one of those things. We will move at half so as to for now over emphasize each moment."

[member="Anya Loma"] [member="Sinda Tivan"]

Sinda kept to [member="Vengeance"] and his teachings while all the more having the inclination of how [member="Anya Loma"] was his prize student. After all she probably offered herself to be his student. Sinda didn't have that choice. But Sinda was not without her desires as well. Her want for power and respect. She planned to do whatever was needed to attain it. When the master told how he and Anya would demonstrate she nodded, taking a step aside for the two of them to show her how to properly counter.

Anya nodded as she turned to her master, she held her blade ready as she looked to @Sinda Tivan

i can feel your hate for me.....but that's ok...use it...when you need it..

Anya let a breath out as she looked to [member="Vengeance"], rather then full firce she went at half attack from the left. Then moved to the right quickly, then a down ward slash then her blade shot out in a stabbing motion ,her blade then mived as she attacked his back and quickly movwd to his front swiping ay his legs then slices upwards up the center knowing each would no doubt be blocked by her master

He smiled shaking his head. When Anya attacked from the left his simply brought his own sword up vertical meeting hers. For the attack from the right he smile turned his whole upper body sword meeting sword.

The downward slash however he brought his sword up diagonally but also stepped in keeping her from being able to execute the attack. Her responding stab he quickly side stepped bring his sword around an taping her on her shoulder.

When she attempted to slash at he back he squatted and rolled forward out of the way turning towards her as he landed to block the swipe towards his legs. Then he simply stood up with a soft smile.

"You should never fight based on your own strengths but you opponents weakness. If they are stronger than you encourage them to over extend or wear themselves out. If they are faster then find a way to disorient or disrupt them."

[member="Anya Loma"] [member="Sinda Tivan"]

While she could not truly see the fighting she could sense how it went. [member="Anya Loma"] was proving her skills but of course against a trained master like [member="Vengeance"] it was hard to compare. As she stood there and listened to the master's words she began to consider an opponent, any opponent's, weaknesses. For one when facing her they would assume blindness until they truly fought against her. For another she was on the smaller size. Perhaps they could consider it an advantage when in reality it just made them a bigger target. So many options to consider. She then consider the types that Anya would carry....

[member="Vengeance"] @Sinda Tivan
Anya stopped after she had executed her seven strikes, she then stood as she waited, her thoughts drifted to sinda.....she can understand her hate...it was a necessary hate, she had made a rival, and anya would fight her, she would let her potential grow along side sindas.....but...she'd keep ahead of her, she'd find a way to be a step ahead just to show her...she was better

He took a step back looking at both of them.

"Now let's see how well you two paid attention. I want seven different strikes down the floor, turn, and seven more coming back this way."

He moved off to the side to give them both room to move.

"You keep going down the floor and back until I tell you to stop. I want clean and crisp strikes.........no slouching."

It was a tedious task but one that served two purposes. The first being to judge dedication to the tasks. The other to create muscle memory. To break the habit of most young students to only strike once or twice and then disengage.

[member="Anya Loma"] [member="Sinda Tivan "]

At his wish Sinda took a position next to [member="Anya Loma"] , not giving her a second thought, while getting into position. Recalling what she could of the demonstration [member="Vengeance"] gave she followed as suite. Proper footing, arm placement, body language. The works. All of it she took into account as she followed herself to the letter. She brought her practice sword down, around, striking, to the floor. She was doing her best to mimic what was shown. Even for having no eyes she could still have great attention to detail.

She bowed her head, she got into the proper, she raised her blade and followed with the seven strikes down to the floor then back, each time a clean crisp strike of the blade was made, like a artist with a brush, though this art would be one of death and the canvas would be any surface she could with the blood being paint

However this also made her feel at peace...the motion repeated let her body flow like water, she looked to [member="Sinda Tivan "]and had to say she was impressed, even with the girl bind she was following the movements, however she'd not let that show through at all
