Amani snorted, "I can only imagine. I'll gladly take doctor work over managing government any day." That was a task she did not envy, even if most of the politicians at the forefront of those efforts had done little to earn her respect. Aside from one, "My boyfriend is a senator, actually. Even just hearing what he has to deal with gives me a headache."
Nida's fluster at her own excitement was dismissed with an assuring wave, "Don't worry about it. I'm glad you're so interested in getting started." They could use as much of that as possible right now. A fact which resonated even more clearly with the zeltron's next question.
"Dedicated healers?" Amani stood there blankly for a moment, pursing her lips, "Well, there's me… and there's Iris Arani … and that's about it." Just saying as much aloud brought a different perspective to their short-handedness. She shrugged sheepishly, "There are other Jedi who have at least a little skill in Force healing. Sometimes we might bring them in if things get particularly bad, but as for actual healing specialists, that's uh, about it." At least the only ones that were consistently available to offer aid.
"Once the temple is officially reopened, we're hoping to send out a call for reserve Jedi across alliance space. Summon them back to the temple and get a better inventory of our resources. Healers included. Hopefully we'll get a few bites. But in the meantime," She gave Nida a soft, playful punch across her shoulder, "You're number three. Welcome to the team."
