Public The Beginning of the Lilaste Order [ Closed/ Finished]

"Sir! I cannot abide to that! Those ships are going full ahead to the station if we don't do anything the station could go down!"

He realized that Owen Gisk would not say yes to him no matter what he said...But Zach couldn't let this stand he was just as capable as any other captain on every other ship and more so the fact that he was eager to prove himself and show his true worth. Surely going up against some pirates couldn't be that hard and with that he along with the Esther and Calador charged at full speed to the Dusate pirates location

Owen swore, "Captain, pull your ship back and wait for reinforcements. That is an order" Shaking his head, the old grizzled war veteran looked out the glass steal viewport of the station, watching as the three ships engaged the much larger force.

The Legacy class vessel would first engage its weapons and charge the large beam weapons that lined its port and starboard bow. Sticking to the rear of the formation and letting loose two squadrons of Eta Angel-series Fast Interceptor squadrons which rushed towards the invading ships, the three Carrack class Frigates made their way to the front lines opening fire on the Defiance and Esther

The first ship misses all of its shots, and the second ship scores ship on the Defiance scoring several good hits that flicker the shields, but they remain in tact.

The third ship fires on the Esther and has the same result.

meanwhile the Reinforcements grow closer [1/3 posts till arrival]

he saw the battle raging he sat idly by following orders like a good soldier, afraid of the consequences of what would happen if he disobeyed, he just got this job. last thing he wanted to do was lose it "sir permission to take lead of one of the other squadrons and assist the Defiance?"

He aims his hammer head at the ship which fired upon him and went into ramming speed, he opened up turbo laser fire before making contact with the ship that fired upon him.

"Boys prepare for some contact! Brace for impact get those engines into ramming speed, ram and fire upon the aggressor"

As the turbo lasers open fire on the enemy ship the shields flutter offline and light damage is impacted on the hull of the ship.

Upon impacting with the ship the external armor buckles inwards and as the Defiance drags on the hull of the ship it begins to rips the metal from the frame venting most of the crew into open space

The Carrack that was struck by the defiance groans and creaks, the metal hull cracking and bending the ship in on itself. With the large hole exposing the ship's internals, the power begins to flicker and fail, leaving the ship dead in the water.

The Esther takes after the Defiance, opening fire upon its aggressor. The shots missed the Carrack as Esther moved to avoid the ten large beam weapons of the Kavast.

Meanwhile, the kavast opens fire with its beam weapons opening fore on the Esther missing its shots

The fighters that had launched from the Kavast opened fire on the Calador. the fighters grow closer and closer to the Calador their first barrage mostly missing their shots immediately re charging its weapons

the third and second Carrack turn around and begin to fire on the Defiance and Calador. all shots scoring hits and damaging both ships shields

the reinforcements grew closer owen Gisk responding to dravin with a soft grumble " permission granted Judgement 03 take command of Filos squadron and engage enemy fighters." [ reinforcement arrives 2/3 till arrival]

hearing the confirmation Dravin, quickly gathered Filos squadron and rushed forwards, opening fire on one of the two squadrons pulling their attention away from the three ships currently engaged " alright boys call your targets and stay on their rear end and keep their attention off of the Hammerheads"

as Dravins rookie squad engages he frowns missing all their shots " that's alright boys turn around for another pass we will get them next time!"

He orders his ship to be turned around so that they can face them head on. As they turn around he commands his crew to focus fire on the aggressor to the left and to focus on his bridge.

"No matter what we must not stop firing until assistance arrives!"

The turbo laser fire shreds threw the shields and significant hull damage is given to the aggressor

as the First Carrack is fired upon, its weakened shield generator gives out, allowing for massive amounts of hull damage to ripple across its bow and port side. The ship returns fire and keeps its aggressive stance before turning away, exposing its side before trying to retreat. after missing all of its shots

the second Carrack fires upon the Esther once more missing its shots

The Kavast opens fire on the calador. the massive beam weapons ripping through the ship's shield almost instantly scoring massive hull damage to the ship's engines leaving it dead in the water. charging its weapons immediately after

The fighters pull from the main fleet and begin to engage Dravins Squadron. the more trained pilots scoring several hits and destroying five fighters

The Trench class corvettes push forwards leaving the side of teh Kavast, seeing the approaching reinforcements of fighters. 1/2 till arrival

the Reinforcements are almost at the destination.[ 3/3 next turn arrival]

Seeing how the aggressor Carrack II was attempting to flee the Defiance opens all of its turbo laser fire onto it attempting to kill it before it can flee

"We've got them on the run! Now lets hurry and finish them off before they can become another problem for another day!"

As the turbo blasters rain down on the Carrack II a fuel cell was hit which caused a chain reaction exploding the poorly stored fuel supply which had caused it to blow up and send shrapnel into open space.

Dravin cursed watching the men he was supposed to be leading die in balls of flames. giving out a war cry turning his fighter around and trying to take out as many of them as he could " dank ferric! kill them all!" he charged head into the enemy fighters blasting away at as many as he could

with pride Dravin quickly killed two fighters before moving to attack more of them!

The first Carrack gets Destroyed the Second and final Carrack begins to engage the Calador in open combat. Fire its weapons as best as it could

the fighters lose a few men and begin to return fire aggressively upon Dravins main forces,

the Kavast opens fire once again on the Calador the Massive beam weapons ripping through the defensive ship , living it in two before the reactor gave way exploding and sending shrapnel flying.

The Lilaste Reinforcements arrive, fighters rushing forwards to engage and assist dravins wounded squadron. attempting to provide Dravin the means to escape with what little fighters he had given him much-needed relief " Dravin this is Tia Tovar of the Avalin spire. Pull your forces back and regroup with the rest of the fighter squadrons "

the Trench Reinforcements are close to arriving [ 2/2]

He comms over to the Esther

"We need to take out this bastard before he can do any more harm concentrate fire power on that Carrack II!"

He reroutes the energy that would be used to charge the shields and puts them into his turbo lasers and orders his crew to fire on the last Carrack II

The outdated power system cause a short circuit in the reactor (Loose one turn with the turbo lasers)

*hearing Tias words Dravin pushes his squadron back after almost getting shot down, regrouping with the main force and falling in line behind another squadron pulling from the lead position and following orders once again, devastated at the loss of his first command following his squad leader and engaging enemy fighters
(hope you dont mind me rolling for all fighter squadrons here?)

the three trench class corvettes enter the fight foreign on the Lilaste ships the first two ships miss its target while the third fire upon the wounded Esther

with the Reinforcements helping the fight, they begin to engage the approaching trench Frigates
[ 1 hammerhead frigate 3 foray class ships]

The Final Carrack turns its attention to the Defiance opening fire.

The two fighter squadrons begin engaging the heavily outdated Liberators. [ 1 squadron destroyed one left at full strength 12/12]

the Kavast Fires its weapons upon the Esther the beam weapons tearing through the remaining shields and dealing massive damage to its hull.

while the reinforcements open fire, all but the Avalin spire manage to score good hits firing upon the

He comms to the Esther

"Get out of here now! Your lives are more valuable than that ship! Quickly get out before its too late!"

He decides with his turbo lasers down and not being able to use them until they are back up the only thing he can do is ram it. He takes off half of the charging shield energy and puts it to the engines and orders his crew for ramming speed on the Carrack

"We have lost too many comrades to fail now! Brace for impact!"

The initial impact takes out the shields of the Carrack and the slide of the Defiance does little hull damage

Dravin once again fires upon the engaging fighters following his squad lead most of his new squadron missed their shots Dravin shouting in his cockpit as he chases frown a fighter with focused intent. he watches as the other squadron swoops in killing five of them getting on his commlink " nice shooting boys! but save some for me, i have a bone to pick with these pirates!"

the Avalin spire moves into position, positioning itself between the enemy and the damaged Esther tia, using her ship as a shield against oncoming fire to protect her comrades' lives. the HIghlander and Aranov rush forwards to assist the Defiance while the Serroccos revenge rushes towards one of the trench class corvettes. the Highlander misses its shots in fear of hitting the defiance while the Aranov takes the chance and fires on the carrack dealing massive hull damage to the vessel

the carrack Frigate opens fire on the Defiance being so close the ship manages to deal a good amount of damage to the ships hull.

the first trench engages with the Serocco's revenge. hitting its target and dealing dealing a great amount of damage to the ships shealds nearly taking them offline

the second engages Tia missing all of its shots

the third engages the Defiance, Missing its shots

the kavast fires upon the Avalin spire the massive beam weapons ripping through the shields of the ship and dealing light hull damage before powering off and recharging.

enemy fighters engage the liberators being unable to do any damage. one of the Liberator pilots responds to Dravin [9/12 left] " iv got three so far lets see who can get the most kills eh?"

Dravin smirks as he reply's to the other pilot " oh your so on I'm already at two, i will beat you to it!" with a laugh Dravin begins firing upon the enemy fighters with a frown Dravin watched as the other squadron eliminated three other fighters. Drats! that put him behind by 4 he needed to get ahead of these guys and deal some massive damage soon!
