"Red, huh? That's kind of- unfortunate." Jacen wipes his hand off and pockets the kyber crystal. He turns to Laph and nods his head, "I heard it calling out to me as we walked closer toward it. It felt like it wanted me and only me to pick it up."
The group continue moving forward.

"unfortunate in what manner?" raising a brow he would grip his chin softly in thought, he had heard of Crystals calling out to find its owner before, though it was extremely rare for it to happen " if my memory serves me correct when Crystal chooses an owner and is installed into a light saber only the one that is bonded with the crystal can wield and operate the blade. crystals of this manner also tend to bond and match one's alignment to the force. to better serve their owners. they greatly increase does capacity in combat allowing the user to use their blade as if it was an extension of one's self"

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

"I'm not too educated on the matter of lightsaber crystals but I've never heard of a naturally occurring red crystal. My mentor said something about having to 'bleed' a crystal to turn it red. And if it's reflecting Jacen's alignment then he's on the Darker Side of things then, eh?" She glances at Jacen. She nods her head slowly, supposing that this was the way of Balance afterall.

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen nods his head slowly, "I wouldn't say it's concerning but, I don't know. I thought I would be able to feel a shift into the Dark Side."
The group of them come to another flight of stairs and begin descending down the steps, Kinrath watching them progress deeper into the temple. "If I ever lose my Blastersaber, I can use it as my backup."

 

[Laphisto]

"well we are an order of Balance, dark working in tandum with the light, its no shame if that's where you currently reside my boy " giving Jacen a soft smile he would softly tussle his hair " just means we will need to do a little more training to help keep your emotions in check. or more so help you to be in control of them"

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

"I'm hoping to read over the texts that we've found to hopefully better understand the old Jedi ways. And a better understanding of the Force would be a great help as well." She chuckles softly and continues walking with the group.

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen nods and glances back at Bambi as they walk, "I can help you train with your lightsaber too."
They continue down further down the stairwell and come to the basement of the Jedi Temple. He looks at the others and smiles, "Bottom floor, guys." He says with a chuckle.

 

[Laphisto]

looking to Jacen he would give a small chuckle glancing to Bambi with a nod " aye we can help one another train, a good spar every so often never hurt no one"

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

Bambi chuckles and continues walking with the group as they make their way through the basement. "I'm ready to learn how to use this thing." Bambi pats the saber gently, "It's been a while since I've used it."

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

The group of them walk around the basement and eventually find the ground has collapsed most everywhere down here. There are a couple of hallways in tact but everything else has been swallowed by the planet... Jacen frowns as he stares down into the gaping hole that sits beneath the temple.
"Looks like whatever was down here fell even further down... It's all gone."

 

[Laphisto]

giving a frown he would shake his head gently, arms crossing over his chest " it would seem what ever was left here is far beyond our reach"

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

Bambi shakes her head, "It's a damn shame."

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen looks at the others and sighs, "Then I suppose we're done here, yeah?" He frowns

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

Bambi nods her head, "I reckon I could fly down and see if I can find anything But I'd rather conserve my fuel and let well enough alone." She looks to Laphisto, "Hopefully we'll have better luck at our next stop."

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

Jacen nods his head slowly. The only thing worth finding was already taken by the hermit... No, everything that they found can help them on their journey. Lightsaber parts, kyber crystals, old Jedi texts and other mechanical scrap. "Well, gang, let's get out of here." He turns around and begins leading the group out of the basement, "At least the Kinrath will leave us alone."

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

"Yeah, that's a plus I suppose." Bambi says and chuckles as she walks with the group across the basement. They reach the stairs and she sighs, "Man, we have to walk all the way up to the top."

 

[Mugiwara no Luffy]

The group of them begin climbing the stairs as they prepare to climb back up to the top of the tower. They walk through the chamber above the basement and see that Aracnae is nowhere to be seen.
It takes the group around one hour and forty minutes to ascend the entirety of the Jedi Temple and make their way back to the surface unhindered by the Kinrath just as the ancient spider had promised.

 

[Bambietta Scifer]

Bambi would look around the temple as the group of them made their way back up the entirety of the structure. She wants to search some rooms again but figures that everything that they could find they already would have.
As they resurface and walk outside of the temple, Bambi breaths in fresh air and nods her head, "My legs are killing me."

 

[Laphisto]

Giving a few blinks he would hold a hand up blocking the sun from his eyes with a small chuckle escaping his throat glancing ack towards the others " well to be able to see again is always a pluse"

Jacen nods and shields his eyes from the light for a few moments. "Always nice to be on the surface. I've been going underground too often." He laughs. "Well, then, back to the ship?"
