The Best I Can

Her son was quite curious about Taiden and paid attention to the greeting he received from his mother's friend. He might still be a child, but eventually, he would age and grow up. How adults treated him now might play a key in turning him into somebody like his father or a gentleman. Marcus was too young to know this yet, but his mind would remember it.

Jairdain was very strong with the Force, but Marcus wasn't close to that. It didn't matter though and she would have loved her son even if he couldn't use it. Because of his small sensitivity, he was able to pick up on the spirits within the stone. He knew this place was special and sat without fidgeting too much.

After several silent minutes, Aja found the strength and power to give herself form. Watching as she went and hugged Taiden, she was happy to know he could be caught by surprise. Of course, she would allow the spirit to hug her and Marcus tried to grasp the ghostly hand as it pressed against his own spirit.

The form remained as he asked if something Jairdain had offered when they first met was still an option. Nodding her head, it would be all he needed to understand her answer.

Hsuberry Trees.

While Marcus was learning small pieces of who he might be, and may eventually teach others, Jairdain was learning how to speak Echani! There wasn't surprise but there was a happy acknowledgment of that. After that, Taiden’s body language and force aura held uncertainty, his stance and footing didn’t know how to be. Spirit Walking. This was not a journey the Kethborn knew how to take. There was curiosity and though she was blind she might hear it or sense it all through their force.

“What must I do?” He looked to her for guidance.

Aja walked between them, she came into being almost crystal clear, her ghostly hue glowed, extending her hand to Jairdain and the other to Taiden. Since their last meeting the Jedi Watcher had come close to fully remembering who she was, a life of memories to tell. Aja could show a recollection of history but that wasn’t personal connection.

Personal connection was walking in a field, on a sunlit day watching a child take their first steps over by a river. If Jairdain began, their trip could begin there. On Voss under orange skies. Edges of the netherworld beckoned but were held at bay by memories. The water would ripple catching the sunlight and the air would smell of Hsuberry Trees. It was difficult to know where Aja was in this memory...

Taiden wasn’t seeing any of this yet, but he took her left hand, eyes fixed on Jairdain for instruction. Focusing on the flow of events from Aja to Jairdain, then back to himself, or elsewhere as instructed.
