Faction The Betrayal and fall

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
When Ali's ship popped out of hyperspace, she was a decent distance away from the battle unfolding ahead. It seemed that Laphisto's Edaar was locked in battle with a large battlecruiser, a few times the size of the Equalizer. The admiral's head tilted, intrigued by the battle. Had the Draconians tossed aside their alliance with the Lilaste Order? No. The entire ring around the planet was firing at Laphisto's attacker, alongside the rest of the Draconian Navy. So it seemed there was a rogue captain.

Most interesting. A few seconds later, the rest of her fleet exited hyperspace, spaced out by Laphisto's ship. They immediately began firing, the shield poppers pouring ion fire into the retreating rogue's engines. Soon, they'd be dead in the water. Ali turned to her weapons officer. "Apfriah, I want our ship driving parallel to that Draconian traitor. Missile broadside on that ship, and make sure we stay out of range of their turbolasers."

Not that she was afraid of being destroyed by that battered and half-defeated ship. The Equalizer had just gotten a new paint job, and it would be a shame to have to waste Lilaste resources to paint it all over again.

With the Dorvise Concentrating its fire on the Edaar, Laphisto grabbed onto one of the Bridge consoles, cursing himself. His lone ear pinned back on his head, barking orders for the Bridge Crew to relay while listening for vital information on the ship's condition and the crew on board. The Strength of the material from which the Hull was made gave the Edaar great survivability, though there were now sections that had begun to buckle and warm under the heat of Turbo fire. " concentrate all fire on the ship engine syste-" he grunted as the bridge began to take some stray rounds causing him to jostle before regaining his footing " Admiral Givas, rotate our ship thirty degrees on the Z axis, show our underbelly and give some relief to the upper section of the ship." Admiral Givas would give a nod, relaying the command crossed the bridge. And within moments, the Edaar would be rotated tilted on its axis though still approaching the dorvis.

When the first two engines blew, he knew victory was within reach, though that was before he suddenly grabbed at his eyes, wincing in pain, his Battle Precognition kicking in effect, and within a few moments, he watched as the Edaar Exploded, sending shrapnel and debris flying crossed the emptiness of space, killing the crew and himself. What felt like minutes was only a few seconds. He knew what was coming, and he didn't have much time to react or issue a new command to try and change this outcome. And so he tried to save himself and the bridge crew as best he could. Reaching out in the force, he Broke the glasssteele viewports, the emergency barriers quickly closing, losing a Crewman who happened to have been standing too close and inevitably being sucked into space. His following action was to extend the force around the bridge, crumpling it lightly, which cut the command center off from the rest of the ship, weakening its structural integrity.

It was a simple thing, a piece of Debris that had gotten Wedged under one of the LO-10H turrets. While it didn't cause any problems while facing forward the moment the ship had tilted, it forced the turret to rotate and adjust, sending the Fighter Debris steering right under the weak spot of the Turret axel and straight into the ammo feeding tube. And when the turret fired, the Explosion rocked the top of the hull of the Cannon that had tried to fire, exploding and sending debris outwards. What followed was the Inevitable chain reaction of the Live ammunition setting each other off. Explosions rocked the ship's interior, running down its spine and eventually blowing a few holes in its under and upper sections. The live ammunition was bad enough, that was, until the reactor began to overload. And what was once a ship suddenly became a ball of fire, large Shreds of Debris launching from the sheer explosive power that sent a ripple through the space surrounding the ship.

Large chunks of what was once the Edaar went Spiraling into nearby ships, the ring, and even down towards the planet. The large chunks of raw metal quickly destroyed smaller ships as they hurled through the vast blackness of space. The Bridge that Laphisot had quickly prepared was, instead of destroyed and sucking everyone into space, easily detached from the rest of the ship and sent flying towards the Ring, smashing through a few small ships and even crashing along the hull of the Corvis. With the Blast doors sealed and the command center essentially airtight on its path to the ring, those trapped inside were sent smacking against surfaces. Without gravity they were but ragdolls. those still alive quickly tried to grab onto anything they could "Hold on, once we hit orbit, things will be a lot rougher, if you can buckle yourselves down!" Grabing onto a door Frame Laphisto tried to pull himself into the room only to lose his grip and smash into a wall, head first, knowing him unconscious.

and Plumit the Bridge did, though not into the planet's surface as Predicted but instead into the Planetary ring, Smashing into the surface and embedding its self deeply in the metal hull.

Trace Xyston Trace Xyston " Understood, sergeant, le-" Tarain stopped, pulling a hand up to his ear as he heard the Broadcast from Tragic Writer Tragic Writer . Pushing his hand up in the air, he spun it around a few times as he began to speak. "All alright, men, rally up. You heard the order, this is a search and rescue operation until hostiles are discovered. Help the wounded and set up this field as a field hospital." Giving direction, he looked to trace and called over three of his Squadrons. " Trace has commanded you to follow his orders and stick cl- Tarain was cut off as partially dim surroundings were suddenly light up like it was mid-day all of a sudden. Looking up the Commander saw the ship that they were just on exploding in a large fireball. At first everything was silent. Everyone stood still as they watched what could have been their fate. Thinking quickly, Tarain yelled over the comms "Get moving. These Civilians will not help themselves. Our mission just became paramount. Now get your asses on the move."

---COMING OUT OF HYPERSPACE---
-----Event: Ambush/Space Battle-----
---Shift: ALL HANDS ON DECK---

The Bridge of the Edaar would crash into the ring, causing more damage to its hull, However here the Damage was far from permanent. Mostly leaving a trench in it's landing. Remaining Civilians and first responders came to the crash site to try and help, by putting out fires or evacuating the area, But for now, were unable to get inside

When Ali's ship popped out of hyperspace, she was a decent distance away from the battle unfolding ahead.
It was only a moment after Ali's Fleet came out of hyperspace did the Beast appeared closely behind. A ship that looked much like the 'Dorvis' But larger, and more advanced. This was the Draconian Flagship and Pride of the Navy 'Apollyon'. The 'Apollyon' Began to open fire and after only a moment the front of the ship began to warm up, as the SPAR cannon up front started the firing sequence

The Ship was currently Led by the Lord-Admiral (COC Here) Archon, An Admiral completely loyal to Ta fault, and one of the Best in the Draconian Navy

"Launch all fighters, and Keep the SPAR Cannon Hot and fire when ready, Gentlemen your cavalry is here" He spoke his words clearly to all the friendly's in the area.

Dozens of fighter Squadrons would leave the 'Apollyon' and clear a path for the Bombers just now leaving the main hangers. Some of the faster squads would race down to escort the transports that the Draconian ships were sent to both the surface and ring from Damion's Orders.

Dorian Would pull back for a moment and take control of a squadron of Interceptors, Thought his work alone had decreased the enemy fighter count to almost nothing, This was to be a cleanup squadron

The 'Dorvis' Having to rely on its backup needed to make its jump now, Accurate or not. Just before It finally made its jump, The Spar cannons would fire.

Long bolts of jolting and bright blue light would cut through the cold, empty space, a devastating blow able to almost cut a whole side wing from the 'Dorvis', The terrifying sound of the cannons would sound in the hearts and minds for years. The shockwaves of the blast would send many of the nearby ships into a Light EMP shock. Major systems would still be online but Shields, Guns, and some non-essential systems were completely cut off then and there. Thankfully, the threat seemed to be open with the 'Dorvis's Escape.

---Team Alpha, Located on the ring---
-----Event: Search and Rescue/ Damage control-----
---Shift: ALL HANDS ON DECK---

Team Alpha was sent to the ring to help with the crash and debris from the Edaar. A few others would be sent to the ring in various locations, but it would be Team Alpha that would try to open the bridge. After some light, but well-placed explosives, and heavy tools, were they able to open the destroyed bridge. They would take the Injured crew, Including Laphisto, to their Shuttle. The Shuttle would fly away to a medical center, while the Team remained.

Entirr's squadron continued fighting against the enemy bombers. Then, the "Dorvis" Cruiser's engines were destroyed and the Cruiser was unable to jump into hyperspace. Its shields were also destroyed. The Ithorian decided that his squadron needs to take advantage of that and he transmitted to his squadron: "The Cruiser's engines and shields are destroyed. I need some of you to strike the Cruiser, remember to keep distance." Entirr's Centurion keeps distance from the enemy Cruiser and fires from the Mass Driver Cannons. But, it was too late and the Cruiser escaped into the hyperspace.

Then, something bad really happened, the Edaar was destroyed! Entirr was, of course, worried about his High Commander and he transmitted the following to his squadron: "Edaar was destroyed! I need for some of you to search the remnants of it and try to rescue the crew."

Entirr then transmitted the following to Tragic Writer Tragic Writer : "Sir, this is Entirr of the Lilaste Order. I heard you sent some men to rescue the crew of Edaar. Were you able to find Laphisto Laphisto ?"

Trace nodded to Commander Tarian and turned to his elite soldiers. "You heard the man, folks. Search and rescue," he said, then turning back to the commander. "My men don't have much in the way of rescue supplies or equipment, but we will try to do all we can."

After trekking through tall grass and finally reaching a main street, Trace stood there for a second, wondering what to do. His armor wasn't well equipped to deal with fire or anything like that. That eliminated the chances of going into burning buildings on the verge of collapse to save anyone. That left...strolling through the streets?

The Elghaseki sighed and moved on towards the flames in the distance.

Tarian cast a swift, assessing glance at Trace, his brow furrowing with the weight of the situation. Taking a deep breath, he spoke decisively, "Understood, Sergeant Vicenza. Kimura, hustle over here! Your squads will team up with Trace Xyston Trace Xyston . You're in this together now, synchronizing every move. When the sergeant directs, you respond promptly. If he orders you to jump, your only question is 'how high?' Now, move out." Tarian gave Trace a brief, appreciative nod. Lending two of his squads was the best strategic choice in these dire circumstances, especially given that their vital supplies had been aboard the Edaar, now reduced to flaming debris.

The sun dipped below the horizon, and the inferno that had engulfed the city cast an ominous glow, painting grotesque silhouettes against the encroaching darkness. Echoes of screams, the cacophony of agony and terror, filled the night. The planetary bombardment had ceased, yet the aftermath was a haunting symphony of devastation.

Commander Tarian hastily erected a makeshift FOB, his fingers dancing over the comm equipment in a desperate attempt to reestablish contact. Ali Kare Ali Kare Entirr Mokuze Entirr Mokuze "Attention Lilaste forces, come in. This is Commander Tarian of the 409th Infantry Division. We are planet-bound and requesting medevac, assistance with search and rescue, medical supplies, food, water – anything you can spare up there." As the terror of the aftermath unfolded, the fragments of the Edaar rained down upon the planet like malevolent stars. Each impact was a cataclysm, spiraling into the abyss of despair for those who had survived the initial onslaught.

Elsewhere, amid the mangled remnants of the Edaar's bridge, Laphisto lay inert. This massive segment of the once-mighty Lilaste capital ship had carved a monstrous trench during its descent, scarring the ring world's surface. Rescue teams, navigating the smoke-filled chaos, were met with horrifying sights. Bodies were strewn in grotesque disarray, twisted metal and charred remains painting a portrait of devastation. Out of the eighteen crew members once proudly serving aboard, a mere six had survived. Among them was Laphisto, found draped over a shattered console. His armor was riddled with shards of metal and splintered glass. Only a few fragments had penetrated his skin, but the armor was brutally compromised.

As the search continued, the sheer scale of the planetary bombardment became evident. Entire districts were flattened, historic landmarks reduced to rubble, and the once-vibrant streets now resembled a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Above, the haunting illumination of the burning city cast an ethereal glow upon the scene, a macabre dance of light and shadow amidst the destruction. The night, cold and indifferent, whispered of the unutterable horrors wrought by war, while the survivors, marked by the indomitable spirit of the living, confronted the abyss with the silent resolve to endure, to remember, and to rise from the ashes.

---Team Alpha, Located on the ring---
-----Event: Search and Rescue/ Damage control-----
---Shift: ALL HANDS ON DECK---

Team Alpha was in the process of repairing the ring to the best of their skills. A 20 men team was soon Split into 4 Ground with even numbers

-Squad Dragon-
Squad Dragon would be the first 5 men on the site of the Edaar's Wreak. Of course, the remaining needed to be removed piece by piece eventually, but the current priority would be the recuse of anyone that would survive such a crash, If it were possible. Using a mix of specialized Vibro axes, mechanic claws, and cutting lasers they make their way into the wreckage.

The Inside was cold, Having its heaters and life-support shut off during the ship's destruction. The Inside was dark, only lit by the flashlights of the Draconian Team, and the occasional spark of exposed wires, or a light that would gain power only for a brief moment before shutting off, sometimes violently.

While they would eventually save the 6 men on the bridge, and 2 others located throughout the remains, they concluded that most might not survive long enough to receive the care they needed. While many other comparatively smaller cities remained intact, as the attack was on the Capital Itself, The medical centers there would be overwhelmed. The 8 men would be placed on a transport to be taken to medical centers around the planet. This transport was going to the City of 'Laria' One of the closest cities to the chaos. One close enough to be caught by some of the battle's debris, but overall intact
-Squad Wolf-
While not needed at the moment, they were no less important, This team worked on the scrapping, and the movement of the debris on the ring. The materials would be scrapped and reused into the repairing and rebuilding of not only the ring but also the planet below. They also worked in putting out the fires and many electrical surges, for the safety of the people that still worked and lived on the ring

-Group Vixin-
Group Vixin was in charge of scanning the ring to determine what portions needed immediate action, or what could be ignored for a late date, They stayed in the atmosphere and gravity well's of the ring to commence scanning.

-Group Tyrant-
Needed to help with public order around the ring. Right now, they were located in some of the more industrial areas of the ring, Clearing buildings for any more Loyalist that might want to show their faces.

---Dorian---
After flying down to the city below and landing near the base of the destroyed palace, he clenched his fist and fell to his knees. He had looked for the royal family, his droid, survivors ANYTHING, for an hour and he failed to find a sign of anything that had survived. The Palace that once stood high in the sky was now nothing more than a junkyard for the stones and metal that had created such beauty.

Here he was alone, walling in his own failure. The fires around the destroyed palace would warm Dorian, the hot air would flow passed him and he stayed on his knees, Nothing remained Or so he thought.

He stayed for an hour before he saw a slow-moving metallic hand trying to push rubble. A spark of hope as he ran to it, using the force to assist him in moving the rubble

There lay the droid, Cole, Barely working. The chassis was almost completely gone, leaving only a small section of its top right torso, with only one attached arm, and was would survive from the head. Wires were exposed

The droid tried to speak
"I------------------- tRied, but th...fell" It was clear that the royal family was dead but there would be something else
"Holo....GRA----------M...mes--------sage"
Cole would life up its right hand to show a holOmessage, the final Order of the Kaiser Himselfs. It was hard to fully understand due to the fluctuating power of the droid. The message was clearly made in a hurry.

"I am the draconian Ka-------, this -------my final order, should I fall th--------, I want a strong leader to lead my people to--------, Should the person to find this is of h---------- Then they have the right to assend to the throne---------------...For Draconia" The final actions of the Kaiser was to accept hi's death before the message Ends.

Entirr watched the planet with shock. He saw a lot of "funky" stuff when he grew up in a cult on the lower levels of Coruscant, but this was something else. The Ithorian tried his best to stay calm and he stayed. Then, he got a message from Commander Tarian: "Hello, Commander. I got a lot of supplies in my ship, I'm ready to donate everything to advance the progress of the operation."

The Ithorian ordered to his squadron: "Get supplies from our Star Destroyer and transfer them to Tarian's ship."

Trace trekked through the cracked and debris-littered streets, barely withstanding the terrible heat. Seconds after turning yet another corner, he ripped off his helmet and tucked it under his arm, gasping for breath. Inside, he felt great sorrow. If he was struggling to breath, dozens of meters away from the flames, then how were the citizens inside the buildings faring?

Not good if Trace and his team couldn't get to them in time. He commed up to Entirr Mokuze Entirr Mokuze . "Sir, could you possibly send down some speeders? My men aren't covering too much ground, and that will be fatal for possible survivors."

Ali was staring out of the main viewport at the broken planetary ring when the call came. The ships in her fleet, which were line ships built to attack and destroy the enemy in armed conflict, had little in the way of medical assistance. But little did not mean nothing.

Over the intercom, she announced, "Loaders, take some of our medical supplies on whatever shuttles we have and bring it down to Sergeant Trace Xyston Trace Xyston and Commander Tarian. Quickly!" she whirled around to her comms officer, seated in the first of the two rings of consoles. "You, call in a medical frigate immediately."

Damn. This would be a good time to have the NSLR and Arla Rodarch Arla Rodarch here.

Commander Tarian's shoulders slightly slumped, releasing a tension he hadn't realized he'd been holding, as Ali Kare Ali Kare and Entirr Mokuze Entirr Mokuze 's voices broke through the ominous silence. The encroaching flames, a macabre dance of destruction, consumed what was once a city teeming with energy and life. The flickering orange menace cast an eerie glow, illuminating the chaos of soldiers, untrained yet undeterred, hustling to rescue the wounded.

Amidst the disaster, Tarian's gaze shifted back to the holo table. He found Ali Kare in the haze of digital lights and communicated the dire need. "Admiral, we're spread thin. Aurora Station is our only hope for reinforcements – we need more hands if we are to pull these people from hell's grip," the urgency laced in every word.

In the flaming ruins of the city, Vicenza, Kimura, and Trace Xyston Trace Xyston moved. Their LO-56A armor, a sealed sanctuary amidst toxic smog and heat. Vicenza's eyes, shielded behind the visor, witnessed the collapse of a building, its structure surrendering to the calamity. In the midst of the ruin, Vicenza and Kimura moved through the chaos, the LO-56A armor was a barrier against the smoke and heat, the air scrubbers in their helmets fighting against the toxic atmosphere. following after trace as they went.

As a building succumbed to the inferno, collapsing into a storm of sparks and debris, Vicenza turned to Trace, the flames reflecting in the visor of his helmet. "Look on the bright side, sir," he said, his voice tinged with a dark humor. "We're up against something real this time, not just lousy pirates. I've been itching for a real fight."

All around them, the city was a spectacle of destruction, a stark contrast to the order and safety it once promised its inhabitants, now turned into victims of the disaster.

Ali nodded. Reinforcements would be necessary to make sure they covered enough ground in time. "Comms, while you're on a line with Aurora Station, ask them to send over another few platoons with medical equipment."

She turned back to look at the devastated planet below. Ali could practically see the fire raging on the surface, taking so many lives with its intense heat...stealing away all the oxygen. Just like her homeworld. The rich kept profiting, and the poor just kept getting poorer.

The admiral scowled and turned away. "Commodore Marke, you're in control of the fleet until I return."

"If I may inquire, High Admiral, where are you going?" the man asked.

Ali didn't reply and stormed off the bridge.

Trace turned to face Vicenza. A real fight...funny. They were soldiers, trained to kill. The traditional use of the word "fight" might be a physical combat of some sort. But a true fight was one that was absolutely necessary. Such as fighting against a fire. Or disease. And the soldier, which was best at fighting, was not well versed in necessary combat.

The Twi'lek shook his head. The fumes got him thinking philisophically. "That's right, Vicenza. Feels...different not being able to solve a problem with lasers and detonators," the spec ops sergeant admitted.

---Onboard the Corvis, and Beyond---
-----Event: Search and Rescue/ Damage control-----

Dozens of Ships flew out of the hanger bays from the badly damaged 'Corvis' and Hundreds more from the 'Apollyon' started to fly to both the Ring and the surface. All filled with what supplies and manpower could be spared. The threat was mostly over, Now it was purely damage control.

These transports would drop off men and supplies. These supplies were anything from food and water to tools and machinery.

While the city did burn, and collapse, However many of the civilians and armed forces that had survived had started to not only escape some of the lighter-covered areas of debris but would start to help the rest of the city. The lower untouched levels of the city would also send supplies and manpower.

The Draconians who were still able-bodied were found using their Breath and strength to help those trapped under rubble, or trapped by fire.

The Cleanup and rebuilding process had begun progress had began
