Likewise though I can understand [member="Popo"] 's position and where he is coming from in terms of wanting to be told if it were to take place in Republic space (with it being assumed that he is the current Supreme Chancellor or otherwise the Republic's head Admin.)

With that said though. I do not believe this thread to be the proper place for continued arguments on the matter least this thread become bogged down in a screaming match of he said she said. Perhaps it would be best to move such a disagreement and formal talking on the matter to Skype or another such appropriate venue?

Like all previous events what happens in this will not have any long term effects or changes to the status quo. Players may include or ignore it as they wish in their personal canon. The only thing which will be official from this will be any rewards in the factory (if there are any).

That’s it. So even if in the event the Republic is involved you do not have to be, and we will not enforce anything on you.

There is much to talk about and to entice some more. The Cabal is made up of the shadowy remnants of the Pius Dea, Darkside church, Kooroo cult, Nepherides, Heresiarchs, Legions of Lettow, Rajivari's followers and something that survived the Muurshantre extinction. Old and secretive cults who have been gathering in Firefist outside the view of most beings. We went deep into the history and legends canon for this and there is more coming with their plan. Once we have a seventh member.

Go for it! You should read the faction rules, first, if you havent. So you know what the Colony can and can't do.
(For example i'm pretty sure they can't take planets)
