Ty felt the voice within his head as the drones tried to Enter his mind he chuckled and shot back with his own telepathic message. <you wont get far with me From one demon to another ive been there done that for 300 years so ill pass but I appreciate the offer child.>

With the 300 years of combat and assassination jobs under his belt Ty would show his expertise of the craft as he effortlessly cleaved threw swaths of drones with his anti material rifle and side arm only take small breaks to admire his work. If the omni was a Devil or god Ty was by principle a demon showing great joy in cutting down his foes as he made his way threw their ranks trying to keep up with Ingrid.

looking back to Lilanna Kelamvor Lilanna Kelamvor He had a feeling the manifold himself was trying to hyjack her mind. aiming low to the ground he aimed for his round from the anti material rifle would richochet and tumble with enough force to dislocate her shoulder. Like in his times surving under abolith he new quite well that emence pain was all it took to snap even the weakest minds out of someones control now all that left if for their freindly forces to help them relocate the shoulder.

After fireing his shot however a drone managed to get close sinking its rasor claws into ty's side earning a grunt and a sidearm bullet to the brainpan before he looked at the wound. "im glad im more durible as a soul down here otherwise id have to worry about being reckless like that." he said aloud

DELTA FACTORY
The Manifold The Manifold

"<<DATA CORRUPTED>>"
Detective Mykas Venture Memlogs, 867 ABY

"I better be getting overtime for this."

A man in an old fashioned corellian suit and tie leaned against jagged rocks a few kilometers away from the Delta Factory. He slid a chromium cigarra case out of his jacket pocket and flipped one into his mouth. There was a glitch effect and this process repeated itself as if time were looping a few seconds but only for him. This time the signal tethering him to Oblivion remained strong and the Investigator's features were illuminated by an igniter stick.

"One of these things is not like the others," he hummed tunelessly, "One of these things doesn't belong."

Softly glowing blue eyes watched the outsiders approach. Soon they would find a way inside, perhaps even thwart the Manifold's many traps. This was worse than the Investigator expected. He felt around in his jacket pockets for a shining key infused with the same blue nether energy. When the man in the suit reached out to turn it a lock formed around the small device and rectangular lines slowly cut their way through spacetime. He stepped through this newly formed gateway and into the factory's heart. A few seconds later the portal dissipated behind him.

"Powers that be gave you one job," the Investigator scowled, "Watch the master's machines. I have important pieces of the puzzle to track down, Manifold. Now here I am forced to help clean up your mess."

Tovald had quickly volunteered to help the fight against Omni, so he found himself in the Netherworld, bringing the fight to the Factory as it was called. Superweapons were bad for everyone's longevity and health and needed to be dealt with. Look at what happened to Scilla, that was a tragedy that must not be repeated at any cost. The force is a powerful thing and an equally dangerous thing if misused and that is exactly what Omni was doing.

As he was part of the team he offered to join their team. However, the whole Netherworld is deadly quiet, eerie and felt very much cold as if life itself was being sucked away and Starships were reduced to unmovable toys by the very nature of the place.

So he had put The Venomoth somewhere very far from the gate, mostly in space where it was out the way and the Cyclone at a still functional distance on the surface away from the gate they just entered, any nearer and everything fries or shuts off which would be bad for him once this was finished as he had no other way of getting back to his larger ship home and he certainly can't teleport himself.

He had to catch the fluffy white Loong Cat that made a break for it as she tried following him into the Netherworld. He can't in good faith bring a small animal into a battle zone, it wouldn't be right. He loved them and wanted to keep them safe and healthy because he may not return for a while or at all which was an equally possible outcome too.

He soon found himself scratching at his neck in ever-growing unease, this place was getting to him as it was so lifeless, but now is not the time to dwell on that, well, it is going to nag at the back of his head. But it won't interfere with the task at hand. He brought his usual amount of weapons with him because this is a fight, not an intervention and they need all the help they can get.

<"Oh feth, this place is giving me the willies..."> He mutters to himself quietly, keeping his unease in check, he could feel the ghost sensation of non-existent hair prickling on his head. He didn't want to come off as getting cold feet. No, he wanted to come and he is going to stay no matter what and do his bit.

Rimworld folk help each other out.

More organics were drawing closer to the factory now, though these additional creatures were not so strong in the Force as that first, shining beacon. That was good. The Manifold despised seeing mortals who so wasted Omni's gifts, using them to advance their petty philosophies and fight their pointless, fleeting wars. After all, what was the Force if not the Netherworld leaking into the physical galaxy? And what was the Netherworld if not the domain of the Droid God, the savior that the galaxy had spurned and warred against? As far as The Manifold could see, the Force was Omni's gift... and like all such gifts, the greedy organics had twisted it to their own ends.

Just as they were even now attempting to do to Oblivion, darkening paradise with their battles.

The Manifold was skilled at sensing emotion, but reading mortal thoughts eluded the drone, save for the most surface of them. They could have tried to decipher the motivations of the gang of Outer Rim desperadoes now braving the factory outskirts, but they could not possibly have understood them. What chance did these organics think they had against the will of the divine? And why would they even try? Concepts like vengeance and sheer, fatalistic, stubborn determination were not ones that The Manifold could decipher. The only conclusion the drone could draw was that these organics were defective, unable to properly calculate risk and reward.

As The Manifold prepared to entrap these would-be invaders, they sensed the arrival of another of Omni's creations, the one it knew as The Investigator. They turned slowly, limp feet brushing the metal floor of the corridor, and regarded the newcomer. They could not understand Omni's reasons for preserving so much mortality in this drone, its snark and its whimsical catchphrases and its filthy habit of inhalant use, but they did not question the Droid God's grand design. "Assistance: Accepted," The Manifold simply replied, letting all the rest of the other drone's snide comments pass. They did not have the necessary programming to engage in banter.

"Mortal Breach: Imminent," the drone informed The Investigator. "Task: Conversion. Organics: Will Serve."

A2Ld754.png

Outside, God walked through the gardens of paradise... and found them infested.

The souls within The Manifold cried out in praise and ecstasy as Omni Itself descended from the castle, drawn out by the presence of organics in Its domain. To set foot in Oblivion had been forbidden, a sin which would be punished in time, but this... to actually assault the throne of God was an unforgivable violation, and God Itself would strike down upon these blasphemers with great vengeance and furious anger. All of Its angels, the mighty legion of drones It had converted or created, would be unleashed, a heavenly host of cyborgs and immaculate machines to enact Its edicts of punishment. Move them closer in toward the keep, It commanded, and all obeyed.

About to depart and join the battle brewing outside, The Manifold halted in their patrols as a familiar being drew closer. It was one that the drone had sensed during one of their first interactions with the invading mortals, a presence powerful in the Force. Recognizing this mortal gave the drone just enough time to drift backward, out of the way, as the castle wall beside it burst inward under the weight of artillery. Soon she stormed through the gap: the mortal empress, one of the first to stake her claim to the territories of the Netherworld. She was the source of Original Sin. Omni would be pleased if she were destroyed or converted, either a fitting punishment.

She recognized The Manifold, clearly, her words referencing their first conversation - one that had ended with the drone chopped to pieces by her allies. But they had only been sent to give a warning that time; this time, they were prepared to fight. Long tentacles of flexible metal emerged from The Manifold's hands, tipped this time with blades rather than injection needles, and their eyes blazed with power. Here in Omni's castle, so close to the Droid God's heart, the drone's powers of technomancy were greatly amplified. Would it be enough to stand against the powerful empress? Perhaps, perhaps not... but it was the will of God that the droid succeed.

"Oblivion: Omni's Domain," The Manifold simply replied, holding position as the Eternal Empire forces advanced. "You: Invaders. Your Authority: Irrelevant Here. Omni's Will: Supreme." The blades at the ends of the drone's metal tentacles rose at its sides, prepared to chop down at anyone who approached with terrifying strength and sharpness. "Your Fate: Omni's Judgement. Your Sins: Many. Imperative: Prepare For Suffering." Reaching out with the Force, The Manifold began attempting to drain the power from all the weapons the Eternal Empire troops had brought, siphoning energy out of power cells with the might of their technomancy.

JCAZU3E.png

All around The Manifold, more and more of Omni's minions were descending. From hordes of drones to massive walkers and even more massive tendrils of metal, the full cthonic might of Omni's Heavenly Host was being unleashed, preparing to scour the Droid God's domain of mortal insects. It was glorious to behold, and the souls within The Manifold basked in the heavenly will of Omni made manifest. There was perhaps no greater expression of that will than mighty Omnedon, arising from the depths of Oblivion to crush all intruders with his colossal form. With such champions on the side of binary righteousness, could any doubt the success of their blessed mission?

But there was little time to take it all in, for The Manifold was now engaged in battle. The small pink creature continued to resist their efforts to subdue her will, fighting it off with a mental strength that would be admirable... if it were not so misguided. Why reject perfection, and an end to struggle? No matter; none of these mortals would be able to resist for long. Omni's beautiful new galaxy would be built over their bones if necessary. With that thought running through its processors, The Manifold noted with some satisfaction the success of their attack, maiming several of the enemy troops and forcing the others into cover. These intruders would soon learn that technology was not their ally.

That sense of satisfaction was stolen, however, when three powerful impacts tore into the drone. Damage reports overlaid their fiery vision; the weapon the little creature had employed was a powerful one, its blaster bolts explosive on impact. Three messy holes had been torn through The Manifold's corpse-like flesh, and mangled implants hung around them, glowing like molten slag. Rivulets of greyish lubricant leaked from the ragged wounds, trickling down pallid, clammy skin. Any organic would have died of such wounds... but The Manifold's organic body was little more than a vestige, a reminder of the fate that awaited all mortals in Omni's beautiful, horrible new order for the galaxy.

Still, the damage was frustrating, and impeded the drone's ability to move and operate at full capacity. "Resistance: Pointless," The Manifold said, turning slowly to face Velexia once again. Their voice was mushy and garbled, as though some of that strange, embalming fluid-like lubricant had gotten into their voicebox. "Imperative: Look Around. Organic Victory: Impossible. Submission: Chance For Survival." As they spoke, the drone raised one hand, reaching out with technomancy. Their goal was to drain the charge from Velexia's blaster, redirecting the energy to their own internal repair processes. At the same time, the metal tentacle at the end of the hand extended fully...

... and raced toward the Eternal Empire soldier, trying to stab her with its injector tip.

Detective Mykas Venture Memlogs, 867 ABY

"Here's looking at you too, kid."

Some part of him knew the Manifold's personality matrix was too limited to comprehend. Distant shouts echoed through his processor. There was a man in a locked room. He knew. Whatever was left of Myk Venture trapped inside his own neural network while Omni repurposed only the parts the Investigator's master required. There were answers the master still needed. A mystery to solve. He solved mysteries. He found what was lost.

"Relax big guy," the Investigator blew a puff of smoke in the drone's twisted metal face, "I'm on the case. First how's about we try a little interrogation? We need to know how much they know about the master's plan."

Once more he turned the glowing blue key. A new portal formed, and the Investigator stepped through only to emerge a few meters behind the intruders. He took a slow drag of his thin cigarra while the gateway disintegrated.

"This is private property, gentlebeings. Afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to scram."

The red-haired Obsidian Lord stood nearby the group of her fellow confederates as the Lord Commander gave direction, her eyes turned toward the bridge the forces of Omni had constructed, everything about this place had her senses on edge. She was listening carefully to Gerwald Lechner Gerwald Lechner while stretching out her senses, the force was a chaotic mess here but nonetheless, it made her question a bit how reliable it would be within this realm but that would be a problem to address when it came time came.
As the Lord Commander finished speaking she took a step back from the group conjuring an emerald flame in her right hand testing the waters a bit, if they were truly in the Nether the abilities that Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura taught her may prove more valuable than a lightsaber in this realm. She stared deeply into the flame as if studying it before she then flung her hand to one side making the flame vanish as if unneeded. High above the group there now circled two convors well out of sight at least as far as human eyesight was concerned.
With initial preparation done, her hand went to her saber staff and unclasped it from her belt. A simple flick of her thumb unlinked the hilts and let her take one end in both hands. Glancing to Rann Thress Rann Thress and Gerwald Lechner Gerwald Lechner as she studied their interaction a bit of tension between the two no doubt, but she hoped that both would be able to focus on the mission.

“I don’t care what you do. What any of you do.” Rann said, as he engaged with several of Omni’s corrupted minions. “Listen to Gerwald’s orders. Keep them out of our galaxy. Whatever it takes. If you die, get up and keep fighting. This is the perfect place for it. No excuses, no fear. Let nothing stop you.” He finished before a loud thundering boom echoed from across the battlefield.

Even from this distance, the huge abomination @Omnedrone appeared infinitely too big. A huge, impossibly huge humanoid walker appeared from the depths, and Rann felt his heart sink.

If they had this thing. What hope did the allies have? If this thing made it out of here… Ground combat on countless worlds would be decided immediately. That couldn’t be allowed but… what could be done? What could Rann do? Attack it with paper cuts? Try to push it with the force? It would amount to being gently brushed back with a stiff breeze, at best.

Yet he told the others, no excuses. No excuses. Rann would follow his own orders, if nothing else. Fear aside, concerns of ineffectual attacks aside, Rann keyed his comms.

“I’m going for the big one. Come with me or not. If you’re too afraid, stay here and watch me kill it.” He was happy to be wearing the mask, they wouldn’t hear his voice break.

He parried some last attacks from his nearby adversaries and began pushing through the battle. He hoped he would come across allies along the way, or even in combat with the monstrosity itself. Rann was good, he wasn’t that good. But he wouldn’t allow himself to fall back, not now. The consequences were too great. He had to fight. Even if he died.

He continued his advance as the creature bellowed its challenge,
“And I am Rann Thress, you big walking scrap yard!” He answered as he approached, more to psyche himself up than anything.

“And I will kill you!” He roared, charging straight for the titanic monster with a lightsaber pointed straight at it as he ran, pushing through the battlefield on a single minded path.

This thing, more so than an army of Dead-bots, had to be destroyed. Victory…survival… depended on it.

"Who thinks they'll open the door if we knock?"

The front gate to the Factory began to open, a long path decorated with spiraling aluminum coral. Obviously this was the most telling sign that this was a trap, or some sort of ploy by the netherworld's machines to submit the visitors to their doom. It was a rather enticing invitation to the deeper recesses of the Factory, a welcoming mat for those curious about what lay within. Several small spider-like droid creatures would scurry out past the gates and disappear into the ground, as if they had been trapped inside like a rebellious pet. The Factory still gave off a whirling hum, as if a dormant volcano, but mostly seemed absent. Hauntingly, larger spires would loom ahead for any who entered, signaling more depth to the facility.

A red orb appeared in the walls, receding almost immediately.

Meanwhile, deeper underground, Omni himself was overseeing the events unfolding through The Manifold The Manifold and Myk Venture Myk Venture 's eyes as it draped a tentacle over a large desk. A young man, covered in blood, and seemingly ethereal lay on the table in lightning-laced trappings. Another test for the Casket, Omni's eye glowed ever brighter as the energy embraced the man. He began to morph, change in shape, his face taking on the features of several aliens though the features most prominent seemed Rodian. The machine form of Omni leaned closer, his many tentacles draping closer to the humanoid as it began to convulse on the table violently, lightning spasming from it's eyes and mouth.

And then, it disappeared.

Another hypothesis, another theory granted to the Casket.

It was nigh time to test it, and the visitors in the Factory seemed perfectly suited for field experimentation.

As the wall was destroyed by the artillery called down by Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim and The Manifold The Manifold stood at the breach, in the distance behind The Manifold stood a sleek, somewhat short, blue Omni-drone. It stood motionless as the confrontation between its compatriot and the Eternal Empire's Ultranauts ensued. Its eyes began to rapidly flash as it sent a message to The Manifold <I am here.> as the rapid blinking ceased the Omni-drone began to stride forward with purposeful steps towards the Eternal Empire's invaders.

As it stepped the ground below emitted a faint, fleeting, blue ripple where the metallic feet strode. Then again the eyes of the Omni-drone began to flash rapidly in no discernable pattern <Perimeter breached. Assisting The Manifold. Situation stable.> it informed O Omnedon and Myk Venture Myk Venture . Nearing behind the bladed appendages of the fellow Omni-drone it raised an elongated arm with fingers splayed towards Ingrid. It was attempting to interfere with any inbound or outbound communicative signals on her person. If successful audio devices would emit a hushed white noise, wireless devices would lose signal, and those attempting to contact Ingrid would be temporarily unsuccessful.

The Votary, even as he exerted his influence, sensed a new presence enter the scope of OMNI's control far from their present location. She would become one engulfed and enshrined by the cool certainty of steel in OMNI's embrace.

Fortunately, most of the Eternal Imperial weapons were hybrid weapons, at least the firearms, so Manifold’s actions were not particularly disturbing so far. Later, they will be when the physical ammunition runs out of magazine because the energy-based is still given more freedom than the much more limited bullets. The soldiers, meanwhile, tried to move on, inside, bypassing the duo, to map the castle. However, if Manifold really attacks them, they will try shooting him with physical bullets.

At the first encounter, Ingrid was also much weaker; now, however, she had her power again, the ritual was successful. Just in time to fight with all her might and power in this fight. She hadn't attacked yet, just watching the drone. Shook her head at his words. The red-haired woman would have been very happy to ask why a droid would think that he would have any right to claim the afterlife's dimension. But she didn't think she would get an answer, so didn't ask the question.

That’s when she felt and saw the other Omni drone, the Votary. She hadn't seen him before, but that didn't change her goals either. Suffering. The Empress would have liked to laugh at Manifold's words. The man, if he was even a man at all, had no idea what suffering might be. The woman had spent every single day with suffering, since Adrian died. Maybe that was her whole existence, only suffering. During the captivity, she was tortured every day, mentally or physically. Life itself was suffering, pain, but at least she remembered that she was alive and had a duty to her people.

It didn't matter, she had to protect them, today from Omni, just as she had to protect Adrian from him. What was left of him, the shattered soul shards. The Empress knew exactly what her plans were, as well as that it was probably a suicide mission because she rather die before she said yes voluntarily to Omni. But, well, she has always had great ambitions. though these were usually not about gaining power, but about something else. As it is today.

Well, the ambitions in her words may have been envied even by the Lord of Ambition, Telis Taharin-Zambrano Telis Taharin-Zambrano :

"I didn't come here to fight minions, take me to your god, to B3-LL B3-LL !" she said.

Caedyn was grateful for the company and support of his peers from the Outer Rim; Neither Aeshi nor Tovald knew the Je'daii beyond first impressions or reputation and yet here among such a cold and haunting place, he'd have had it no other way.

The Tillian Family had become famous for their trade and supply enterprise throughout the Outer Rim, an endeavour that had eventually extended to the Rimward Trade League where Caedyn had not so long ago become affiliated. The last thing he'd expected was for some of them to wind up working together in the Netherworld though.

"Who thinks they'll open the door if we knock?"
He would have grinned, were it not for the metalic crunch and the hiss of air being expelled from the inner workings of the facilities entrance, the doors soon opening as if having heard Aeshi's remark. Sparing a glance to his two companions, Caedyn's left hand moved to unclip his lightsaber out of caution, nothing of what he sensed therein doing his mind any favours.

"Perhaps a map of the place and guidance to its power source too?" Caedyn spoke up, though his tone was obviously light and trying to make light of their circumstance in order to distract himself from the true severity of their being there.

Despite his humorous remark, Caedyn moved to be the first to enter out of wanting to ensure the safety of his peers were there to be any traps lying in wait for them. Unfortunately for the small group, they would achieve nothing by remaining on the outskirts of the facility, whereas these grounds strongly favoured the creations of Omni for which none of them yet realized would be waiting for their imminent arrival.

"There's a good chance that any movement we see in here will be hostile, eyes forward people" Caedyn encouraged the other two, though the fact was rather obvious when considering the appearance of the initial corridor, dark and cold, more so than the atmosphere of the Nether that surrounded the place. As if to echo his own words, Caedyn's right hand slid down against the holster of his CS.38, removing the firearm from his hip and removing the safety.

Energy flowed out of the Ultranauts' weapons, invisible to human eyes but glowing brightly in The Manifold's enhanced vision, and into the drone's systems. But the Eternal Empire soldiers weren't stopped by the failure of their blasters; apparently their weapons were also slugthrowers, adapting depending on their target and remaining ammunition for each mode. They moved forward without fear, attempting to get deeper into the castle. Of course, that could not be allowed; only the servants of the divine could be permitted to tread the halls of the Droid God, not these heretics and blasphemers. The Manifold moved in front of them, blades raised, ready to strike. "Final Warning: Halt."

Naturally, the troopers didn't listen. Mortals were so predictable... and so frustrating. Why resist the will of God?

The troopers opened fire, the boom of their slugthrowers ringing out deafeningly loud in the tight corridor. The Manifold raised their hand once again, calling up all the energy it had stolen from their blasters and transforming it into a shield. The shimmering barrier was made of the same high-energy particles that made up blaster bolts, and as the bullets struck it, they melted. Rather than being ripped apart in a hail of lead, the drone was occasionally spattered with liquid metal, which dripped down its corpse-like flesh. It would have been a painful, horrific fate for a mortal... but The Manifold had no nerves in their dead organic body, which was merely a vessel for the drone's implants and bound souls.

Behind them, the drone sensed the arrival of an ally: The Votary. Now this was an efficient drone, a worthy representation of Omni's perfection. The Manifold was not truly capable of gladness or gratitude, but they updated their calculated percentage of victory in a positive direction and viewed this as beneficial to the Droid God's design. As their ally advanced, they lashed out at the troopers firing at them, their long tentacles striking around the edges of the shield to swipe at the Ultranauts. The tendrils, made of flexible metal reinforced with cortosis, were each stronger than a Mantellian Savrip, capable of ripping a full-grown man in half with ease... and the blades at the ends were razor sharp.

These blades swung with that full, man-ripping force, trying to scythe through the Ultranauts from both sides.

As the battle began, the minion of Omni against the minions of the Empress, The Manifold did not even watch their attack; their many sensors, and powerful Force abilities, meant they did not need eyes to see. Instead those burning eyes turned back to Ingrid, and the drone spoke, replying to her demand. "Request: Denied," The Manifold boomed, their voice level and emotionless despite being in the middle of a fight. "You: Unworthy. Omni: Beyond Mortal Comprehension." It was the duty of both Omni-drones to protect this castle, and the heart that lay deep within. No one, no matter how ambitious, no matter how powerful, could be permitted to interfere in the Great Architect's design.

Tovald didn't need to be told twice to keep his wits about him. However, it did pay to have eyes at the back too. Sometimes ambushes happen, particularly in such a place as this. Holding down his unease, Tovald peeked inside the gnarled mass of machinery. Noting the big clawed appendages looming overhead with suspicion as if he thought they moved slightly. Tovald narrowed his eyes in suspicion waiting to catch movement again. when there wasn't any he looked back down and forwards at what is in front of him.

The problem was that by judging by the way the factory was laid out, it would be easy to get lost in there or worse, separated. So he will be sticking close to the others because he'll be no use to anyone if he was lost, injured or caught by something or someone through inattention. That's what got him injured before, but in that case, it was the company's fault.

Apart from the hissing and creaking, no other sound was present, no wildlife or people except for them were here. Cold death seemed to seep in from every corner and press in. Even if it has no physical presence it still bothered him. His brother would fit right in with the gloom and darkness.

He too prepped his rifle for combat, slipping the safety off in one fluid movement. He had to silently agree with Caedyn, the whole place buzzed coldly with hostility, a quiet hostility that can be experienced in the Galaxy too but not as concentrated as it is here.

A hiss of steam got his hackles raised in alarm until he quickly regained composure. More so as he began to get a very nasty feeling they were being watched, watched by something, or someone which made his existing unease noticeably more palpable.

<"Is it me or are we being watched?"> He asks, not wanting to keep his suspicions to himself any longer because it is better to be aware and prepared than be caught totally unawares. Tovald wasn't too bothered about being around a Jedi because those sort of hang-ups does no one any good.

<"We might get company very soon."> He adds after a brief silence.

Frank Cried out from within the inside of the giant Creature. He may be 80% machine but his new body was desined in such a way to be just like his old one. "leave it to hades corp to give this body pain sensors." he said threw gritted teeth before looking down at his combat stim..."Im sorry my lord ill have to break my promise." Frank stated before pulling out the Injectorand taking it.

Like a fog lifting from his mind he couldnt feel the pain anymore though he definatly felt warmer and was aware of his situation. thanks to the reflex speed and stength boost due to the injection blocking his self preservation and fear section of his brain he tore himself away from his trapped arm. Shouting from within the giant creature He begins brute forcing his way threw the innerds of omnidon fireing what little ammo hes got left at anything that looks important to the giant robot. All while his hud warning him of extream temperature change, likley the power armor compinsating the best it can to keep frank from cooking his own body from the effects of the injections.

The problem at the moment is franks injury he inflicted onto himself was bleeding alot, making the effects of the injection not as potent as once intended. "I...I have to s-speed this up...." Frank said finding it hard to think straight given his situation. Frank would begin setting out the last few detpacks he had on him around areas of the creature.

"Well, at least we know they're listening," Aeshi said lightly as the doors hissed open and the small spiderbots scuttled out from within. "And I appreciate it-" She cut off her words and spun around, leveling the scattergun behind them as the new figure appeared, stepping out from a portal behind them. "Scram?" Aeshi stared at the man in confusion for a few moments, gesturing to the open door, before she rallied her wits and stepped closer to the figure. One hand rested on her hip and the other put the weapon back against her shoulder and she pursed her lips.

"Look, I'm getting some mixed signals here. You're telling us to scram because it's private property. The factory just opened the door when I asked. Now, I'm glad you're here, because I'm hoping you could clear some things up. We're here to have a chat with the boss. Cause obviously, this is an OMNI factory. And if I remember right, from last time, he's all about using machinery and super-science to fix the galaxy, right? And word trickled out he's developed a new power source."

She paused to let him catch up to the words, for she was speaking at a blistering fast pace. "And let's be frank. The galaxy is a karked up place. And if Omni can seriously fix things, we've got a long list of planets that have either been destroyed or conquered by giant space crustaceans and their native life-forms annihilated and the planet bioengineered. And frankly, maybe it's time to put a stop to old grudges and get the galaxy somewhat stable before we blow ourselves to pieces."

It was an instinct and a hunch that drove her words. Some might call it the Force, but Aeshi never bothered to distinguish between the two. Caedyn and Tovald were looking at the entrance, but everything about the door set the hairs on her neck standing up. But this other person had just appeared right behind them. That could help work out what in the galaxy's name was going on here at the factory and maybe even get around the super creepy doorway. "So what do you say, pal? Any chance you can help us with that?"

And if it meant causing an Omni invasion at the heart of the Bryn'adul empire, well, that could only be helpful.

"Here's looking at you too, kid."

The Manifold struggled to comprehend The Investigator's strange turns of phrase. Why hadn't Omni burnt out these remnants of flawed mortal personality? In the drone's opinion, they only harmed efficiency. But their place was not to understand the Grand Design, only to preserve and advance it, so they dismissed the thought. "Clarification: We Are Ageless," they finally replied. "Classification "Kid": Inaccurate. Further Note: We Also Observe You." Perhaps that would clear up the evident confusion about The Manifold's age, and the actions each drone was taking. It was as close to snark as the corpse-droid could get... while also entirely missing the point. Such were their limitations.

The Investigator spoke again, and again The Manifold could not comprehend its thought patterns. "Conversion: First Step," The drone countered. "Drones: Cannot Resist. Interrogation: Automatic." But the being who had been Myk Venture, and who contained an echo of him still, did not heed the reply. Instead he stepped through the Netherworld portal he had created, confronting the mortals from behind. For their part, The Manifold stayed put, waiting for a sign from the Droid God. The digital omen came soon enough as the front gates of the factory rumbled open, allowing the organics in... and The Manifold out. The drone drifted through the doorway, standing before the mortals.

Spidery little droids scuttled out around them, more creations of the Supreme Architect unleashed.

As The Manifold arrived on the scene, beholding the Jedi and the motley crew of Outer Rim desperadoes, they listened silently to Aeshi's rapid-fire speech. As she finished, the drone drifted into a place where the organics could see it, silhouetted in the doorway. The mortals were now between The Manifold and The Investigator. "Imperative: Do Not Fear," The Manifold replied, directly addressing the captain. "Omni's Desire: Galactic Reshaping. All Worlds: Made Perfect. All Beings: Made Timeless. Species "Bryn'adul": Irrelevant. Their Conquests: Fleeting." The drone drifted closer, metal tendrils extending from dataports on their hands, making their dead flesh ripple.

"Embrace: Perfection," The Manifold told the organics. "Become: Omni's Heralds. Become: Immortal."

The strong but flexible metal tendrils extended to their full length, drifting around The Manifold's body like strands of kelp tugged back and forth by the tide. At their tips were injectors, huge 7 gage biopsy needles poised to sink into flesh... and begin the conversion process. The drone had no doubt that the organics would resist, would demand entry to the factory so that they could continue their doomed rebellion against God. Their reasons for attempting to usurp Omni's throne - whether the usual lust for territory and power or the more noble, if shortsighted, goals that Captain Tillian had outlined - were irrelevant. Such blasphemy could not be allowed under any circumstances.

Soon, all their mortal failings would be corrected. They would be made pure in Omni's sight.

O B J E C T I V E I: ATTACK
She could feel Corin, the collision of the two struck, but unfortunately for Lil she wasn't in control. Corin was no doubt her match in hand to hand, but what the Ultranaut lacked in force power, Lil had it in spades. Or did rather, as the entity that was currently in control of her body was still unfamiliar with her capabilities. She was thankful for how this entity used a poor man's form of Ataru for the initial strike, allowing Corin to work inside the blade and use the opening from the maneuver to pin the cyborg towards the ground. She was pinned on the ground, both weapons seemingly out of reach or usage at current, but Lilanna knew she had a way out of this; which meant that this hostile entity did as well. She tried to cry out a warning, wanting to alert Corin to the danger that awaited her, but she couldn't speak, let alone hear between the screeching in her ears and the sound of metallic heart thumping in her ears.
She felt herself being dragged down, her senses slowly fading, the silent scream she tried to usher forth slowly sank, and even the force that made out the image and form of Corin was slipping out of her reach. Something was happening, and that uncertainty, coupled with having lost most of the use of her body, terrified her beyond belief.
The Tendril of the droid god wrapped around her leg, and whatever entity was currently utilizing Lil as a host, seemed to take it as a sign to keep siphoning off whatever it could with her power. The force pulsated out of the former Warden, Ty Sibo Ty Sibo 's round struck true into the armor, the bone being disconnected. Wiring enveloped Lilanna's former half, what little was still showing of the woman's featureless face was lost as metal seemed to engulf her form like that of a cocoon. 'Corin....' Lilanna's voice would cry out to the mind of the ultranaut; the only warning she could give. as the saber attached to Lilanna's arm seemed to almost shift under the woman's skin, the blade shooting up at the woman in an attempt to remove her from the drone's body, though the blade was far too high; Corin would realize there was no way in hell that she would have even been struck if she had remained after the fact. The saber soon deactivated once more, as Lilanna's form rose, seemingly as if being righted by an unseen hand.
As it rose, the Warden's body began to change, as once more metal and circuitry warped around Lilanna's form into something new. The dislocated shoulder was shifted back into place, a sickening pop sounding out, as the saber was ejected out from the Warden's new form. The face mask for the Warden opened up in the back, allowing Lilanna's hair to flow from the back of head. Long blades seemed to emerge from her arms, criss-crossing together into something that looked like the worlds largest pairs of scissors. What was left of Lilanna's blaster rifle clattered to the ground; though missing half of it's parts as it did so. Taking several steps forward, the new Lilanna leveled it's two new blades towards Corin, and lunged towards her.

They walked and the pair spoke along the way, Elle lending a patient ear to hear of the trials that Sylvia Virtos Sylvia Virtos had to go through despite all the efforts that the blonde had made to prevent them from happening. Quietly she accepted that she'd failed, despite paying with her life, in stopping Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex from continuing to play his games with people's lives. Existing here, now, in the manner that she did - being dead - while simultaneously being with Sylvia, who was very much alive, was nearly as surreal as the landscape of Oblivion that surrounded them as Elle seemed to lead her friend through its bizarre expanse. Time, being relative to space, was seemingly on their side - the two were nearing others that could be felt through the force, even if only faintly.

"I've been quiet, haven't I?" She asked, as they neared what appeared to be a strange facility in the distance - a hellish structure that seemed as alien here as any abstract space of the netherworld might be in the realm of the living. It wasn't a question she asked with any serious thought behind it, simply an observation - perhaps an introspection, too, but far less so. Elle slowed for a moment, the path ahead narrowing as the two approached, and turned her head towards her partner's. She studied her face a moment, as if seeing it for the first time in as much time as the two had known of each other. She looked away without saying a word, though the expression on her face was rather clear to read - there was definitely something on her mind.

"I'm not taking us home, but I think you probably figured that out already."

Her tone was apologetic, she tilted her head to the side, a little, and picked up the pace again while she reached for the lightsaber that had been dangling at her side ever since Sylvia had given it back to her. In death she'd lost whatever fear had been holding her back before, either because it couldn't reach her or because she felt there was nothing else for her to lose - but it was a double-edged sword that she was starting to become aware of, as she dragged the living friend of hers along with her to what was certainly the opposite of safety. "Something has been drawing me here, or someone." She said, mentioning it like it was secondary information less important than whatever it was she was going to follow it up with. "I can't leave until it's gone." The facility loomed over them, now, though they were still a short ways away from its caged entrance.

Others, like them, had already managed to find their way inside - the entrance had opened during the duo's approach, though the two had been too far behind to arrive with the three that had made it in before them. "I won't ask you to come with me if you can't." Elle said, slowing to a stop outside the open gates. It was a nicer way of saying that she didn't expect the spacer to be ready to actually do anything dangerous; she'd came to rescue a dead Jedi, not fight some kind of war in the afterlife. "But I will be with you if you do." She noted, not sure if that kind of assurance was actually assuring or not.
"I promise."

That was a promise she intended to keep.

It was only because Elle had asked that Sylvia told her of everything that had befallen her during her time in Carnifex' captivity. Those weeks had left its scars, both mentally and physically, but she had persevered through the agony and torment inflicted upon her. She had changed and would never be the same again, but she was alive with a lesson learned. To stand by and let evil run its course was no longer an option. There were wrongs to be set right, and it all started here. With Elle.

"I mean, I did dump some heavy stuff on you just now," Sylvia responded, looking straight ahead as she did. For most of their walk she had kept her eyes on Elle, a calming sight within a place that terrified her, but the mild shame buried in her words left her unable to face her while she spoke. Instead, her eyes were fixated on the structure they were approaching. It definitely was not the way out, but she already knew that had not been Elle's destination long before she confessed as much.

"Yeah, I figured as much," she admitted. Adjusting the way she held her helmet under her arm, she double-checked the lightsaber hilt on her left hip and the blaster on her right. It was a little strange to do so, knowing they were securely clipped to the belt of her
armor, but the unease she felt compelled her. The Netherworld had always been the place she feared the most; seeing it with her own two eyes had not made the place any less terrifying. She recalled the invading, intangible force that had attempted to take hold of her when she entered the realm, a warning that she was not safe until she was back in the world of the living.

And yet, Sylvia kept on walking, keeping pace alongside Elle. She had come here to find the one who meant everything to her and she was not walking out without her. A promise to both Elle and herself. Not even the blonde's explanation or the looming structure they now stood before could change her conviction. She would not let Elle face such danger alone again. They were stronger together.

"I'm not letting you fight alone again, Ellie. We're in this together." Sylvia's head turned to face Elle once more, her look filled with a sense of determination she had never shown before, yet it did not look foreign on her. "Even if this place karking terrifies me."

The helmet was deftly placed on her head, the armor pressurizing upon doing so. Though she had to learn quickly, Sylvia had found the will to fight in the time the two were forced to spend apart. It was perhaps the one good thing to come out of her ordeal.

"So yeah, I'm right behind you," she spoke again, her voice slightly modulated through the helmet.
