Private The Cold Caverns

Tann was just as happy to see him. She smiled and waved her free hand. Then, she raised her sword as if offering it to him to see. SHe didn't expect him to actually grab it, but look upon the white beam. She wanted to prove to him that she had indeed taken the pat of the light and refused to fall to the dark.

When he offered her her robes back, she would put away her saber and graciously take them. She still didn't feel the need to put the cloak back on; she was feeling rtather warm still. But that would change when she left the actual cave and went back out into the freezing snow. He would tell her that he was returning to the settlement to which she nodded. She looked a little sad. Tann then did something unexpected and moved closer to Mathieu. She wrapped her arms around his frame and gave him a strong hug while her head rested against his chest.

"I'm sorry for making you worry..."

It was hard to remain upset with someone who was as happy and proud as Tann. From the beginning, he had tried to not show it too much, hoping to allow her to relish in her happy moment but even then, she seemed to sense that something wasn't quite as it should be. For before long, she went in for a hug and an apology. His one hand went up to brush her back whilst the other one hung limply by his side, still holding onto his own robes.

The larger Padawan was upset for a number of things but it all accumulated into the two of them failing to work as a team. He didn't mind his first ice bath in the least - it was an honest mistake. But then, she had just disappeared on him after running away without even trying to have some sort of dialogue. In his eyes, it was rather far from ideal - still, she did seek his apology for making him worry, and for that, he would nod whilst letting out a calm "It's alright"

He remained quiet for some time before softly patting her on the back a couple times, indicating that it was time to let go. He took a couple steps, ready to trek towards the settlement, located a bit further away than her ship had landed "I think you should speak to your Master about what happened here today." His expression had been more grim than he intended and so, he produced a smile "It's not everyday that you get to commune with the dark side and come out more attuned to the light" he said, trying to end their meeting on a more positive note.

"I will see you around at the Silver Rest"

Tann could tell that something was very wrong with Mathieu. She'd hurt him, somehow. She didn't know what she'd done but when he didn't give her an actual hug back, she could sense into his mind. Even though he said everything was alright, Tann knew better. She could tell things were far from alright.

Rather than wanting to talk about it, he deflected the conversation to her speaking with her master rather than him. She couldn't argue that it sounded like a better idea than what she would have thought of. But it didn't hurt any less. He then said he'd see her back at the complex. She nodded silently and let him walk off. But something else stirred in her so she had to have the last word.

"Mathieu....May the Force be with you."
