The Core had been left a mess since the devastation that laid before it. Coruscant was in ruins, the Sith Empire and the First Order were setting up checkpoints and who knows what. Refugees being taken left and right, cargo being sanctioned and inspected. It was a mad house. Less is even known about the Deep Core, as Kuat has been left relatively alone by this. But since their growth has became so extensive, and they had amassed good, trusting, partners, the President of Kuat Drive Yards hoped he could call in his favor of his business partners for the respect and kindness he had showed them. Just about everyone here has worked with Kuat Drive Yards once or more in their time, although Jaster might be harder to persuade, Ferron hoped it wouldn't be. The UTC and KDY hadn't had much contact.... there was a contract in the works but due to the major contract between KDY and the nearby CSA, the great Kuat Drive Yards may be just a little bit busy before that would happen, but Ferron promised he would do his best to get the order in for him.
A small inkling of what Ferron wanted to talk to everyone about was found in an encrypted holonet message. Since The Sith Empire had checkpoints in the core, and Kuat was in the Core, it was of the utmost safety that this communications be made secret. The individuals in question Ferron did invite to Kuat Drive Yards Orbital Array, but he would understand because of the Imperial Bloc Treaty, they may not want to come near. And that was perfectly understandable and reasonable, so Ferron did the work for them. He spent the credits and resources to set up encrypted signals and holoprojectors, getting secure lines, should any of the members only wanted to show up in Hologram form. They would be in full, life-size form, and Ferron had set up a secure and private conference room, where they could all see each other.
What they were informed of was a proposition.... to join their companies together in an Alliance. The plan was to protect the Core and allow individual rule, whether that meant companies or governments, on planets, stations, or otherwise. This was expected to increase profits to the more business-minded employers, it was a relief effort to protect the Core and its inhabitants from the current invaders, enslavers, and murderers, and it would also allow anyone within the Core to do as they pleased. This meant less tariffs and restrictions, such as from any major organization like the Empire or Republic, less restrictions on transport and possibly safety protocols should a vote be casted as such, allowing more volumes of transport and dangerous cargo. All in all, the Core was left open. But while open, it was devastated, and it needed help.
Ferron would await for anyone to arrive or connect, hoping they would answer his call so they could communicate further on the subject and come to an agreement.
