The Crow, The Wolf, and The Witch

Boots kicked up red dust as the lone figure walked along a beaten path. The sun’s rays shone down upon the planet carrying with it a heat that would cause even the heartiest of desert dwellers to sweat. Distant bugs chirped in the background, singing lullaby songs to their possible mates. Trees contorted at odd and disturbing angles, and between the jungle fauna tall tan grass hid predatory eyes. Still the man walked undisturbed. He knew the only monster to be feared was he himself.

He was clad in a black cloak that set his face deep within the recesses of it’s shadowed cowl. Metal plates adorned the cloak offering protection where needed. A large claymore sat strapped across his back and he walked with the stance of a man who knew how to use it.

His name was Enzo Carpathia, a knight and prince of house Carpathia. His long journey of almost five thousand years had finally led him to Dathomir. He had chased rumor after rumor in hopes of breaking the curse that beseeched him and now he finally believed he had found a lead able to do just that. The Dathomir witches were rumored to be capable of great feats of magic and amongst them was one who specialized in such curses. She was said to live atop a great mountain, which was supposedly guarded by an ungodly beast. Still the knight was willing to risk anything to regain his humanity. So, he made his way up the mountain side and wondered what the planet had in store for him.

Tired feet walked across dusty dry red ground as Bella Eirson was making her way through the planet of Dathomir to find out simple issues. Shape shifting issues to be exact. She wore a simple and comfortable outfit and Jedi boots instead of heels. The outfit came with them, but she hated them. Her hair was pulled back simply, but the wind blew small hairs out that were not secured. dark strands of brown hair tussled in the wind as she walked. Grass was seen in small tufts as she walked along. She followed her senses to the darkness. Bella let it call her this once, choosing to fool it and use it against itself.

Bella had heard tales and stories of a witch who knew everything in and out of curses. She was known to be very powerful and Bella figured she would be able to help explain the reason for her shape shifting problem. She turned to wolf form in troubled times and regained human form after battles and such. She was getting it under control, but she needed to know if i was something she was going to live with for the rest of her life or if it could be reversed and remain a human.

Going along the trail, Bella sensed that there was something more than the darkness. Another was on a voyage possibly seeking the same information for themselves or following and tracking her. The wolf senses helped her sometimes and in this case they did. None the less, it was still something she needed answers to.
