The Dark Can't Always Hide You...

"Business? No...unless you count the romantic kind or if my master ever calls on me" she answered in response, tapping her fingers on her knee. She had hoped that Nyx or Stardust would not have need of her for the time being. They could last a few days without her, right? She wanted to believe that they could, and that she had nothing to worry about at all.

As she thought about them, Vallory's thought drifted and she began to wonder what exactly this business was then. And she asked so, "What may this business be, if I may ask?" Vallory asked to her.

"I actually meant if you had any other business you needed to attend to. If not, then I can show you a room to stay in."

Still in the process of having a home built, only part was able to be lived in. More would come as time progressed though and Jairdain needed to arrange for tutors for Marcus. Maybe even herself.

"However, I feel reaching out to make connections in business in general would be needed. This city needs it."

Vallory nodded in understanding. "No other business, no" she answered. A place to stay seemed all right to her. She could trust that she would be safe, right? The idea to help the city more was something that she could accept on doing. If it meant that she could get in the good graces of Commenor and it's people, she would do it then. "And I will do what I can, to help you...but, if I may? Could my identity be kept a...secret?"

"Very good, then you can start as soon as you are settled in."

And like Lady Kay, her position was given right away. When she asked if her identity could be kept secret, Jairdain looked in her direction slightly confused.

"If you are wanting to clear your name, why do you want it kept secret? However, if it is your wish, we can come up with some alias."

Motioning for Vallory to follow her, Jairdain would walk outside and head in the direction of a speeder. Built to hold more than one person, there was room enough for the both tham and others inside.

Vallory nodded. Though, she had not packed anything with her. So she would have to contact Stardust to get some things sent over. Such as her lightsaber, which she had purposefully left behind for this meeting. There was no need for a weapon.

"My name...it just may be best. Leaving the Sith, made me an enemy of them. I would not wish to lead anything here with my name being known" she answered. It was what she wanted to do, she did not wish pain on others in her stead. Vallory began to follow Jairdain, and moved out to the speeder. Still, she was cautious and hid her face by looking down a bit.

"What name would you like to go by? I was once sith and changed my name while I was with them. Once I left, I changed it back to Jairdain."

It was a bit of small conversation that took place in the speeder, but that was the only question she needed answering right away.

Their arrival at the house Jairdain was having built was smooth and she lead Vallory inside. Showing her around, she eventually took her to the living area. Here she could choose which room she wanted to stay in while she was here.

"Do you need any special sleeping arrangements?"

Vallory thought on that for a time. What name could she go by? A name did strike her, but she wondered, should she go with that name? It sometimes stuck to her memory. Sometimes...

"Lilian. The name Lilian should do." She stuck to that, the name of a past friend who wouldn't be using the name anytime soon. As they rode the speeder, she took in the scenery. Soon they arrived, and Vallory was shown around inside. It seemed cozy enough. At the question, Vallory shook her head. "I should be fine. I've slept in much worse places, and this is cozy compared to those."

"Lilian it will be then until you're are comfortable enough to reveal who you actually are...if that ever happens. I will support whatever choice you make."

She had gone by a different name with the Sith and changed it back when she left them. So to Jairdain it made total sense. Vallory was making a break from her past and trying to start a new future. All she could do was support her newest member of staff. Perhaps they could become friends, but for now, Jairdain would keep things professional.

"I'm glad you accepted the off, Lilian. If there is anything you need, let me know."

With that, she would leave Vallory to make herself at home and go to figure out the finances of everything.
