When he'd sent his apprentice on the task of facing Sabatora he had given her no information. Because there was no information a true Sith would need to defeat the shade that had once been a Dark lady of the Sith. Sabatora's connection to her temple had been so powerful that it had sustained her life for thousands of years. An impressive feat. A far cry from the true immortality that the woman had been attempting to craft however. It mattered not, now that the shade was destroyed it was one less factor that could cause a problem for The Confederacy and Illyria.
The Royal Hall was cleared when Xobos stepped within. Adron had sensed her return was imminent and believed the woman had deserved the luxury of privacy. Still, he was rather surprised to see she came directly to him. No, actually that made perfect sense. Xobos was the epidemy of the term Knight, she had always placed her duty before anything else, even her own health. The King stood at his throne, his amethyst eyes gazing over Xobos with a wondering expression.
She had weathered much.
Not just this altercation, but years of torment as his apprentice to strengthen her mind and bolster her will. He watched as this woman who fell to her knee before him offered the last of her strength to report back her success.
Then Xobos held it up, shakily, yet with triumph. Adron said nothing and instead merely descended the stairs to the dais where his throne sat. His hand came out to press two fingers against the warm songsteel metal that was used to create the lightwhip Xobos presented him. That was when he felt it. Like the key to an unknown door the Force echoed out to him, his eyes glowing a vibrant shade of purple while he experienced everything Xobos had gone through. "I see." He said, before he curled Xobos' hand around the lightwhip, his words coming out with a tone of acceptance. "Well done."
A snap-hiss echoed out as Adron's amethyst blade came to life. He held it by his side while heavy eyes gazed down at Xobos. "You challenged her darkness with your own and yours was proven to be greater."
He brought the blade up, lowering it down Xobos' shoulder. "You stepped into that temple an apprentice of the Sith. A learner, nothing more." The blade gracefully moved from one shoulder to the other before Adron finally pulled it from the woman's presence.
"Now you rise. A Knight of the Sith."
