So, as you guys might realize, the Dark Lord has died in this thread.

As i stated in the thread. This is a clean slate opportunity for you guys to either re-envision the faction or keep it the way it is. Again, this is entirely up to you.

I'm putting up this thread because [member="Darth Isolda"] asked me to and she'll oversee the votes along with the admins that will get picked Saturday!

So you can vote here and get a general feel. Or just wing it in the thread!

Kaine has the time and dedication to the One Sith to rise up to replace the unnamed Voss as Dark Lord of the Sith as the IC leader of the One Sith.

Meanwhile Isolda, Helios, and Rev could lead the One Sith as the OOC leaders.

I gave a reaction post as I'm out for the night. I think the NPC is really the best way to go about it, but I'm also pretty indifferent about it either way. I've just seen empires crumble with a PC leader far more than one with an NPC leader.

I am for an NPC leader in a body me and [member="Silara Vantai"] can create with the alchemy to bring him back. Many things can be done and while I know Kaine can be a dangerous and powerful one an NPC leader has served us well with the voices, hands and eye

I agree with [member="Darth Praelior"], an npc leader has served us well. Also it stops people wanting to be emperor, and arguing and challenging for it.

Though we don't have to have alchemized version of him. We could just have him leap body again.

IC before OOC. Let the thread play out, if someone is able to grab the power? Awesome. If a loyalist of the Voss Dark Lord walks in and stomps everyone? Great.

But let's not force this sort of decisions with polls and OOC decisions when we have the opportunity to have some very interesting story development.

I think it's really cool to have an NPC leader--it gives the impression that he is more powerful than any of the PCs on the forum, that he's above everyone else. On the other hand, I think it would be awesome to let the thread play out by itself and see what happens--that's what RPing's all about, after all. I would encourage all the powerful lords to try and push some sort of agenda and make this into a really cool story. How awesome would it be to have a Sith civil war?

I agree that everyone should have a say in this, and that's why the thread in question is a faction-thread.

I am encouraging everyone to join it and push for the changes they want. You want the Dark Lord to rise again? Rally the loyalists to your cause, cast down the traitors and safeguard the Throne for the true Emperor.

You want a new claimant to rise? Waltz in there and have the back of whoever you are supporting.

Do you just want chaos? Spread it like wildfire.

That's what roleplay is about, writing stories with people and coming to amazing new opportunities.

Sith civil wars are boring and divide the faction. Yes I am all for story but not at the expense of the faction itself. The one thing that united us and made us a choice for those who wanted drama free fun, for the ones who defected and left factions like the republic because it was either one group having all the power and others being ignored. We tried to be better then that by having all able to be equal. One person taking all the power again just ruins that unity. I'd rather preserve the faction then be only interested in personal story

We have done a lot by having no infighting though, we just a few us united we took coruscant. We beat them back at every fight we had with republic, with just a few writers. I do not understand why, people would want to change that know. Yes thing are different from I firsted, but that because we were a minor faction. The new order, went major before us, they had pc as emperor they no longer on the map.

So I agree with you on this, completely we don't need to change the faction formula. It works why try and fix it
