The King brought his left hand to hang slack at his side while he craned his neck, letting a soft pop echo out. His eyes were turned back to Danielle as he spoke to her. "Lightsaber combat is grounded in the Force. That is why it is not often utilized by those outside of the Jedi and Sith. The practice, the repetitions, these are just meant to bring you into a place where your mind can let go and trust in the Force. Now focus on the connections between us and use the Force as a guide in when and how to strike. Or learn to enjoy the sting of my lightsaber upon your back." He remarked, his smirk mirroring the very same one his apprentice had shown him.
That was when Danielle launched herself forward.
Adron smiled, genuinely.
She learns slow, but she does learn. He mused.
Danielle's assault was well done. Against an opponent entering combat with their guard lowered it would prove to be a sturdy offensive. However when her Guard Shoto swung for his midsection he was able to shift his body back with a strafe backwards. His lightsaber flowed in a swift circular motion, swatting Danielle's blades away from him. He quickly lashed out with his left foot, aiming a strong kick for the girl's waist. "Faster and trust in the force!" He called out.
