The Death of House Sorenn-Syrush: Part 5 - The Rise of House Thrune

6 Months after Uncommon Ending
The Death of House Sorenn-Syrush: Part 5 - The Rise of House Thrune
Commenor - Senate Hall
The last time she had arrived at the Senate Hall she had come with a retinue of guards of her own, though this time she felt it better to not place everyone on guard as it were. At her side was a droid - a Nartaki - that had been "seized" from the Sorenn-Syrush Industries inventory along with a myriad of others items in those facilities. This one though was merely for show, an assistant for the day that was overseeing the various papers and forms that it carefully collected together.
Its six arms moving in unison - as if it were putting on a show of its own - as it brought the various sheets of paper, flimplast and datapads together. A soft smirk was upon the woman's lips, though it was difficult to see through the helm that she wore. Stepping into the lobby, she made her way towards the front desk - at least providing some kind of courtesy in this instant.
"Inperantike Thrune to see the Queen and her advisers."
Though she wasn't told anything further - having turned from the front desk - she moved towards the waiting area off to the side, her arms resting over her breastplate. She stood silently, though it could be safe to assume she was watching the happenings of the world around her - it was not the truth. Rather she had closed her eyes as she silently awaited the coming meeting.
She thought on all that had happened before and would happen - or at the least attempted to plan for eventualities. In this moment she had already succeeded in that which she desired, having torn down House Sorenn-Syrush and now all that was left was to bring House Thrune to life... at least legally in a sense.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay had been busy these past months. Not only were there repairs done to the Senate Hall, but she had gotten the Commenori engineers to design a shield generator to protect the building from further attacks. It was to be quite strong, capable of even withstanding hits sent by Star Destroyers. Yet it wouldn't just be the Senate Hall that'd be protected. So too would be the Royal Palace, as well as the entirety of Chasin City. Such a shield would provide ample time for the citizens to get below ground and for their military to mobilize a counter-offensive.

Many meetings had taken place as of late. Most of them delt with her husband, [member="Veiere Arenais"] . He had prompted her to side with her people instead of him, so she had done so. A bounty was placed on his head and now she refrained from mentioning him if she could help it. It was a sore subject for her.

[member="The Whispering Tyrant"] soon arrived, asking for an audience with her and her Ministers. Not all were available however. Before the woman stepped in, Kay had called for [member="Darben Skirae"] and [member="Adron Malvern"] to come to her office in the Senate. She wasn't too trusting of herself to handle things on her own, just yet. Emotions still ran high and she didn't want them to continue to cloud her judgement.

"You can send her in. I'm sure that the others will arrive shortly."

As ordered, Adron had made his way to the meeting hall on behest of the Queen.

He was not sure of The Whispering Tyrants motives yet they did not matter anyway.

Within the Queen's office, Adron turned his eyes to Kay with an arched brow. "Do you know the meaning of this meeting?" Adron asked the Queen with an arched brow. It seemed this knight was now making herself a prominent name among Commenor, whether that was good or bad had not yet been figured out.

Once the guest was set to arrive, Adron turned his attention from the Queen to the door before him.

Darben Skirae had received the call of duty. The merchant's call, the minister's call. And he made it there as soon as he could, this time in a better mood than usual. With that being not having drunk his night before away, or waking up mopey. He greeted [member="Lady Kay"] with a smile once he made it to the Meeting Hall and found her and [member="Adron Malvern"] there, the man that was assisting Kay. "Kay! A great day for a meeting in the meeting hall." Then he nodded to Adron, "Adron, good to see you." Then he stood up straight, while waiting for [member="The Whispering Tyrant"] to come in.
