SETTING INFORMATION
Structure Name: The Den
Classification: Lounge/Pazaak room
Location: Downtown Forak, Trandosha
Affiliation: Dahlia Nova
Accessibility: Hidden from street level, the club isn’t accessible to the general public. Built into the cellar of an abandoned shop front, few would think there is a bustling nightlife here. Those that are in the know are free to enter the shop through the backdoor, and then proceed downstairs. Even then, patrons are screened via security. There is one underground exit permitted for Dahlia’s use, in case of emergency.
Security: Cameras, Security Viewers
Private security was hired by Dahlia Nova, mostly for her own protection while she is here. Most that enter know that they do so at their own risk. Weapons are permitted on premises, but using them is highly discouraged – and carries serious consequences. While the Nova security personnel generally keep out of the affairs of the patrons, they will act if Dahlia herself is in danger or if there is a threat to the facility.
Description: Tucked away in the old Market District of Forak, there is an abandoned shop front that might have been home to a rather large department store at one time. Now it is in very poor repair, at least from the outside. However, once one is able to pass through the rather sad looking shop – there is another world below. In the style of a speakeasy, the Den is a bustling underground pazaak parlor. Upon descending into the club, guests are met with lively music, smoky air, and drinks aplenty. The club keeps a rather simple and rustic aesthetic, as it caters to a rough crowd. However, there is enough old world charm here to keep it classy.
While there are no set hours of operation posted, the Den opens around dusk and closes by morning.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The shop location that can be seen from street level was once a sprawling department store. However, once business began to relocate to the new industrial districts on Trandosha, this place was left behind. Known as the Old Market district, there are few businesses that remain – save for some factories and industrial warehouses. Dahlia Nova deemed it the perfect spot for a new speakeasy style Pazaak room. Of course, she’d heard stories about the bounty hunters and tough characters that liked to hang about Trandosha, and they were just the sort of clientele that she was looking for – the kind that liked credits, and liked to spend them even more. They were also the perfect target market for moving some of her spice discreetly.
While Dahlia is still based elsewhere, she does visit this location quite frequently.
