Well he's a OS Stormtrooper, more specifically a Scout Sniper, so he's good at hunting and tracking people. He also grew up on Tatooine, hence his accent. So perhaps the Empress has something to do on Tatooine, and needs someone to guide her?

Yeah me neither lol. At first I was thinking maybe some tips or lessons as a force user, but since you're a padawn that can't work. And usually she talks to nobles for the sake of setting up alliances, but they're usually for more persona gain or matters.
