It's that time again. Imperial Inquisition gonna Inquisition. ​

So, at the behest of my Dark Lord I have been charged with the subjugation of Veradune. I wanted to discuss the proceedings of this event with the major runners of the Vitae [member="Vulpesen"]. Since this isn't an invasion, I am thinking a straight Skirmish Thread should do the trick. Hauntruss' Inquisition aren't in the business of actually preserving what they attack so this will be a straight up "sacking" operation, until the latter accepts Hauntruss' Terms of Treaty.

Ideally, I think it would be good to set up a division of action so the thread doesn't become an instant clusterkark of chaos. I was thinking 3 Points of Focus for the Skirmish. One could be the central Tenevi Mother Temple Complex and it's surrounding area. However, I can't think of two others seeing the Veradune Planet submission wasn't too detailed on other areas of interest on the planet.

So what I would like to discuss is the terms of the Skirmish and the 3 Areas of Focus please. I will update this post as we discuss further.

1. The Terms can be discussed and implemented more at the end of the Skirmish, let the people have their fun.
2. This isn't like Dorin and Cularin. We aren't exterminatusing Veradune. Just sacking it (or trying to). Less genocide more tactical strikes and sieges.
3. As per usual taking prisoners is up to you and the person you want to take prisoner. Negotiate that in PM.
4. If its just civilian NPCs sure. That's fine.

I have a question, where did you get the coordinates for Veradune, i had come to believe Adekos' were null and void until he found a logical thread in which to use Psychometry to use. I just want to make sure your location of teh planet is logical and valid before something goes further. *Sits down to the table to discuss things with you*

THank you for this, furthermore i want to go over objectives as a FA of the VItae. Firstly, what were you planning as far as objective wise because really all that is there is a ruined city and a planet wide forest... you guys rushed us before we could even get anything up and running.

Well, as I mentioned, the Tenevi Mother Temple works. It seems to be a focal point of the Order that controls that world. Perhaps minor military bases or other temples can be a staging ground? Or we could just pick some part of the forest.

Uh... well i guess, No military bases or temples left either. And as for the mother temple its more of a work in progress as that thread needs to be worked on still. I dont think it was intended as a military instillation either. Honestly if you do this you would literally show up, see a forest planet, a ruined city and a already on the brink of inability to sustain a population. There is no fleet for you to really fight or modernized military or large instillation/cities.

Well then. How about we just center the skirmish around the Mother Temple and have those of Vitae gather there for resistance. Seems simple enough.

I hope Vulpesen will honor me in fighting me one-on-one in the temple. I think it'd be great.

He wants no part in this, hes not taking it well which is why im trying to find a way to bring this to a perfectly calm and fun experience. Alot of other Vitae don't want to participate either because of disputes with OS members.

That's quite admirable. I applaud you Charr. I hope they don't take it personally. It's just what my character does. I do what I am ordered.

Surely Vulpesen is willing to duel me as the head of his faction. I think it improper that Hauntruss didn't lock into mortal combat with the leader of this outfit. Perhaps Vitae can relay on their allies? Perhaps the Rebel Alliance or Red Ravens?

Already tried, Ravens aren't allies though from my knowledge and other faction support is not really going to happen from what i know.

As for Vulpesen, i can't blame him for not wanting to join in something that is going to destroy something hes been stressing over as much as he has. If he doesn't want to join i nor you can force him as it is not our place to force him to partake in a roleplay. Like i said, ill update you if others want to do this or not. Alot don't want to due to how fast this was and how unprepared we are to take on the largest and strongest of the major factions.

You may tell Vuplesen that I have spoken with the rest of my staff at the Sith and I am calling off this Crusades. Frankly, I don't like fighting a foe that wont defend itself. I just seems pointless. I do this kinda things for the drama and struggle of good vs evil. Its a vehicle for good RPing. But seeing its just Solan I think it'd be a 1. not very fun for any of us and 2. would progress nothing in terms of plot.

Solan I thank you for being so accommodating. And wish the Vitae luck in their progress.

But let this be a warning. Next time it may be an invasion I am being placed in charge of and that time I wont be able to negotiate my way out.
