With two small taps of his fingers on his knees, Connor sighed.
”It seems the war with the Sith followed you, as it rages here too. Not always in your face, but it’s there – simmering away waiting to boil over sometime, somewhere, on another world caught in the middle.”
He gave her a solemn smile.
”Sorry to hear about your loss also. I can only imagine how you must feel here. As for me, I live to fight and serve; I’ll clear a path as best I can for others to walk and, as you say, repair people and planets and infuse them with good. Conflict is all I know, both internal and external.”
With the notion of the Force bringing them together, it dawned on Connor this was the second time he’d heard this. First with Syala Daivik, now his Padawan, and now the outer-galactic Callista. If only there was something he could do to help, maybe?
”If I could do anything to make you feel better, or give you purpose, what would it be? I want to help you find something, I just don’t know what you want.”
