The Fast Track to Blood and Gold (Pm to join crew) (Open to random people)

Sure Giana had the looks and the flare and a few more skills on her belt, but a few more couldn't hurt. When she was being herself, she had a very strong opinion and said things that were on her mind unless it was a secret she was supposed to keep. Giana had quite the life growing up and it was something that even if she tried her hardest to avoid it, it just haunted her ten times as bad as the first time she thought of it. The past tore at her and she couldn't keep living in the past.

Watching around as the bar seemed to clear out rather quickly after [member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"] took [member="Andy Khor"] out back, she looked over to the man beside her as he spoke up once more telling her to follow him. As he stood and walked towards the door, she did too, hearing his second comment, quickening her pace a little bit. The night was a little chilly for most, but Giana noticed no difference in the air. Every once in a while, she'd look up to the man as he at one point touched his ear and he said something under his breath that she could just barely make out. After a littlw while of walking they came upon the garage.

Giana watched as the door opened and then the man flipped the switch on inside as the lights flickered to life. From first glance, the garage was empty until she saw the frame of a man tied up with a bag over his head in the center of the building. Giana already had two pistols placed prominently on her thighs, but as he handed the butt of a pistol to her she grabbed it and listened to him.

She was about to speak up as she heard him say to kill the man, but before anything could be said, a young boy was brought out screaming. The man she was being told to kill had a child. Unknowingly, she had a flashback of her parents' death and imagined it the same way. But knowing that she had to change, she pushed the evil memories aside including her feelings and quickly checking the gun, she made sure it was loaded and ready to fire. Pointing it towards the man's chest, she pulled the trigger and a bolt went through his chest as he fell to the ground. Looking towards the kid, she saw herself in his eyes and looked away from him to the man who brought her there.

Just looking at the man, there was nothing to say. She just waited to see what he would say and think.

To say he was surprise was an understatement. This so called goody two shoes without much hesitation had done as she was told, no matter how cruel. He lifted a hand to snap and his thugs let the boy go. The boy rushed at them, but instead of going to his dead father he went for Roberts and stopped in front of him with a smile on his face, "Ya did good, Jax, I'll let you know if we need anymore help. Say hi to your mother for me, will ya?" He handed the boy a few credits and the boy happily accepted them and left. Roberts held his hand out for his gun to be returned and then placed it back in his holster under his shirt.

He reached down to the lifeless man and pulled off the sack releasing a half face of a robot. After revealing the truth he turned to the girl with a smirk, "Welcome to the Blazing Shard. You could use some training, but it is good you aren't afraid to take a life, it will not be a life of mercy. A pirate's life is that of risk and reward. Risk it all to get the biggest reward. Come, let us speak some more else where." He began leading her deeper into the garage to a back room where he had a nicer bar area set up. This was their hide out on Nar Shaddaa. "I don't believe we have been formally introduced, you may call me Roberts for short. Your name is?"

He offered her a spot on the couch and grabbed her a bottle of not the finest rum, but it was still good rum and tossed it to her for her efforts. Once he grabbed himself a bottle he pulled up a chair near the couch and spun it around to sit in it backwards folding his arms over the back as he popped open his bottle. "Don't expect me to ask you to do something like that again. While you may be asked to execute someone, in front of a child is unneeded." He took a swig of his rum, it was perfectly aged in his opinion. It wasn't Corellian Rum, but it was a back water one with a hint of the drug spice in it. Not enough to do much, but man did it give it a kick. "Tell me about yourself while we wait, why do you want a new life if I may ask? Remember though, you are a pirate now, anything you don't want to say is your business. Hell, you can make up a new life completely for us to believe if you want, as long as you abide by the Code." He took another swig, but almost choked on it as he began to laugh, but managed to swallow before continuing.

"Mind you, this is not a Jedi or Sith code, out here we do not care about their religious magic or whatever it is they do. No, our code is more of a way of.... keeping a bit of order amongst ourselves and keep us from stealing from or killing each other. The basics."

Once it was over, a snap of the fingers could be heard and the two men holding the kid, released him and came running over to the man next to her with a grin on his face.. So it was all a joke. Feeling relieved that she had in fact killed a robot instead of an actual man on purpose, Giana let out a small sigh and she started to laugh a little. She watched the boy leave before she looked back to the man who had his hand held out. Turning the gun around, she handed the it back to him with the butt towards him.

As the man walked over to the dead "man" and pulled the bag off of his head to reveal a droid, Giana laughed with a semi big smile on her face. She was definitely relieved that she hadn't killed an actual person.

"Well thank you. And that was a good set up you had there.. that kid's a good actor."

She responded. As he started walking, Giana followed him to what seemed to be a nice bar area. It seemed to be pretty top of the line for a private bar, but being a pirate, she guessed he had quite a bit of money that went into this place. As he introduced himself, Giana did the same.

"My name is Giana Rhyker. It's a pleasure to meet you Roberts."

she said. When he offered her a spot on the couch, she accepted it and sat down. Looking up, she saw a bottle of rum flying her way and reaching out, she caught it once it was in range. Looking at the bottle, she could tell that it was a good brand. It was nothing fancy, but none the less was she happy to receive it. Listening to him, she nodded.

"I have to say, I was definitely surprised when you asked me to kill the man. That kid was pretty convincing."

she said with a small smile as she opened the bottle she was given and took a sip. It had a nice smooth, rich taste with a little kick to it. It was really good though. Giana then listened as he asked her to tell him about herself.

"Yes of course. My parents were both Mandalorian mercs and they were always out. But I was raised with other Mandos. My mother taught me how to fight and my father handled teaching me. I was homeschooled as well. Then they found that I was force sensitive. We tried to learn it on our own, but that didn't work, so they decided to get some help with teaching me. My family was in trouble with the Sith at the time so I was sent to the Jedi, who trained me how to have some control over the force. They also took care of me when my parents were murdered. Anyway, I stayed there for a while, got some training and then I left. I needed to do something different than always being the good guy. That's why I wanted a new life. I can still be good while having a little bad in my life. It never hurt anybody to do a little bad.."

she responded. Giana left a few things out, just to shorten how much she was saying, but she'd rather tell the truth to someone she'd be working with for a while than lie and have them really angry at her later on. After speaking, she took another sip of the rum.

Kat yelped in pain as the fist collided with her knee. At least the man knew what weak points were, even if he wasn't particularly fast...or strong...He was either being nice and trying not to break her, or he was just not that strong. Hobbling slightly, the woman found it was a bit more difficult to move her leg. Not enough to make alking impossible but enough she wasn't as quick as she'd like. Alright then...she'd let him come to her.

The crowd screamed for the woman's win in the fight and now the noise again hurt his ears. Khrelan trashed the idea of leaving, risking the over dramatic idea of going deaf, because he was truly interested for once. Usually, he'd stay out of trouble like this but this wasn't a typical bar fight. And he had a front line seat to watch the show as he stood right behind the redhead.

Roberts continued his rum, his mood beginning to change as he reached his preferred state of mind. He did, despite his state of being, listen to the lady's story. A fine story, bit too much magic involved for Robert's taste, but nevertheless a fine story. She had potential, a beauty with not only Mandalorian training, but also in the Force? She had the potential to lead her own crew one day if she fit into the life.

"A fine story lass, but just one problem. You'll find aboard this vessel we do more than just a little bad. I like ya matey, you got moxey. You'll make a fine hand on me vessel and we'll make a pirate out of you yet. Mind you, there is no right and wrong out here, merely the strong and the dead. Cheers and welcome aboard!" He held up his bottle for a cheers and then left his seat as the room Began to fill with members of the Blazing Shard. Some were Captain Syphex's men and some belonged to Roberts, but they all served the Blazing Shard. The men began to drink and Roberts began to sing an old pirate song with his mates as the party was just beginning.

His arms were up, just like a boxer would do. Andy felt like and idiot in that pose but he didnt knew anything more. Either way, Kat did got hurt with that hit to the leg, so it would be much easier with that advantage. At least thats what he believe at the moment, as he had no good fighting skills.

At that time, Andy got a few meters of distance, making sure if his damaged arm could move. It would serve as defense for another attack, although he knew that it could take weeks with a cast for it to recover if it happened. With the pain and the tiredness, Andy went for a single strike towards Kat face, using his other arm to cover his side. He sprint and lift his arm, aiming to the face.

The first jab was all it took. Kat's hands flashed as she parried his fist down, drawing him closer. Her hands pushed on one shoulder and pulled the other, spinning the man around. The arm that had pushed his shoulder wrapped around his neck, squeezing tightly, blood flow to the brain ebbing away, oxygen becoming scarce for him.

[member="Andy Khor"], [member="Dread Pirate Roberts"], [member="Khrelan Arke"], [member="Giana Rhyker"]

The oxygen, couldnt breath and the panic started to rise. In a moment like this he would´ve surrender, but Kat was mad. Even if he managed to signal her something, she wouldnt notice or leave him. The panic started to grow and grow. The oxygen little, less... The only thing that he managed to do is close his eyes in fear, fear of the defeat, of dying like that. With his only free hand he asked help for the force. It saved Andy from a falling celling, why would it be different this time?. It would be his only change, and it obey him, for once.

He sensed a kniffe... the same one he dropped just when the fight started. It was previously laying on the floor just three meters away, but it came flying like magic to his hand. Once it arrived, he closed his hand as hard as he could and went for a stab towards the palm of Kat. If he stab other part of the arm, the tip of the knife could damage his own neck.

The glinting blade of the knife was Kat's only warning. As the man stabbed towards Kat, she pulled her hands closer to her body, out of his reach, at the same time tightening the air reducing choke on the man's neck. He wouldn't die. But he would certainly be unconscious in a few more seconds.

Something separated Kat and Andy, throwing the kid face into the ground, and Kat just a meter away. An invisible force. Was funny to see that idiot try to go 1v1 against someone with more experience. Maybe if he knew how to use the force, but it would take years for that, and Acaleus was four wars and dozens of battles and fights ahead. "Kid, go home. This world isnt for you" he didnt turn to say that face to face, but he expected that his words would be obey. He was armed with two long bracers on both arms and carried nothing more

"If you want a crew member i´ll join. Where do i sign?" said taking his hood off "Oh and name is Acaleus Thorn" said stretching his left arm. Even after years passing, he couldnt get that habit away

The knife didnt work and so his hopes of survival. He felt a strong will apearing from nowhere, as at the same time something threw him away. His face crashed to the floor, and he slowly crawl up. Spitting and taking deep breaths. He knew that was the force being used but he couldnt stop it. The stranger order him to retreat and thats what he did, passing through the crowd and going away, with his tail between his legs. Hex was waiting him on the entrance to the bar, and approach when it saw his owner hurt "Didnt knew you were out..." "Shut up and take me to the ship. Im not coming back to this planet" with that being said they leave the place.

Kat looked the man up and down. "Thorn huh? I've heard of you before." she said, shaking the man's hand. Using her left felt awkward..."I think Roberts may want to talk to you." she said to the man. Well, they'd have to see what would happen next. The bounty had heard a little about the assassin. Not a lot, but a whisper was better than nothing.

Aedan Miles calmly strode into the cantina his long midnight blue hair falling around his head as he was flanked by a pair of men in Beskar'gam with a simple hand gesture both men slipped off as Aedan slipped deeper into the cantina his worn armor hanging from his waist were a pair of lightsaber hilts. Smirking he walked forward enjoying the feeling that one got from Nar Shadda in the force it was dark and almost everything about it reeked of the darkness. Stopping at the bar Aedan tapped on the bar top and calmly spoke to the man behind it. "I will take the special stock." The man didn't even look up merely muttering calmly. "Sorry special stock is reserved for some big wig that buys that booze to have here all the time." Snorting angrily Aedan chuckled after a moment. "I am that big wig now give me the special stock I have friends coming." The man scurried away as Aedan moved to sit at an empty booth leaning back in it calmly as he waited for a few of his friends to arrive.

Two adventures in only a few short weeks, Nolan's luck must've been turning around. Nar Shadaa, home away from home, and an old friend, what better way to start off...How about meeting at a bar and Aedan Miles was buying! Yeah, that's a better way to start off the day.

Marching into the bar, helmet tucked under his arm, the Wreckingball found his target and threw his helmet at his old friend. He walked behind the throw, black armor giving its subtle 'clink' as he walked over to the booth.

You dog, where have you been hiding! He said with a jovial tone.

[member="Aedan Miles"] [member="Captain Roberts Teach"]

His cloak fluttered behind him as he stepped through the door. Alkor pulled back the hood as he glanced in either direction, taking stock of those drinking there. It was important to know who was nearby before you did any talking, especially in a place filled with shady people and undesirables.

Alkor never came to talk, of course. He came to listen; and when he decided listening was not worth his time, he left just as abruptly. Still, Aedan was an ally, and one of the few people he knew these days. Alkor could afford to hear him out.

The lightsaber that hung at his hip visibly defined him clearly as a Force User, if nothing else. It helped to discourage the curious. When he made it to the seat next to Miles, he declined the more classy drink in favor of an ale.

"The last time I was on Nar Shadaa," Alkor muttered quietly, "I left three men dead. What could you possibly want on a slumworld like this, [member="Aedan Miles"] ?

Aedan grinned as he caught the helmet tossing it calmly back at the wreckingball he leaned back as his grin widened. Finally the old crew was back together and it was going to be just as fun as it used to be. Leaning forward he took a deep drink of his Correllian whiskey before smirking as he slammed the glass down. "Alkor my friend what else brings me out of the shadows? I have heard rumors about a new pirate gathering some known and unknown names in the pirating business as of late and bringing them together in a form of organized group. I figured I would simply go and meet him but first I needed my crew. My WHOLE crew meaning the two of you. Now that we are all here though we can head out. I have the Werda Kyr'aim in space over Nar Shadda and it shall take us to Coruscant where we can meet this Dread Pirate Roberts. Or as I have recently found out his name is one Captain Roberts Teach. Shall we go and see what this Pirate Captain has to say to the Pirate King my friends?"

[member="Nolan Detta"] [member="Alkor Centaris"]

Captain Roberts Teach, or the Dread Pirate Roberts was two of the same name. Not his real name of course, but very few knew that name. He and Giana sat on NAR SHADDAA in a underground hangout belonging to Roberts from his previous days. While he was nowhere near as infamous as Aedan and his crew in the core of the Galaxy, he had a name for himself in the outer rim and so having a hangout on Nar Shaddaa had proven useful.

As he and Giana mingled with the crew one of his droids entered the room, "Sir, your guests have arrived at the cantina." Roberts stopped mid song, "Ah, well give them boys our coordinates!" Roberts took another swig of his rum and continued with the festivities.

A droid in the Cantina strolled through the crowd making its way through the masses until it arrived at the table of Miles and his crew, "My master would like to extend an invitation to his place here on Nar Shaddaa. I have been instructed to give you the coordinates." The droid then opened a port and used it's hand to pull out a small disk with the information on it needed and put it on the table before leaving.

Nolan snatched his helmet out of the air and set it down on the table. Alkor soon followed and then a droid...

"Well, at least he's not going to keep us waiting. I'm bringing the bottle Aedan. I won't need a glass." Nolan took a swig of the whiskey and felt the burn in his gut. It was a good year, aged in the finest barrels, a hint of spice and a smooth finish like satin.

Nolan awaited Aedan and Alkor's next moves, since he was just here to follow Aedan's lead anyways.

The cantina was full of weid amateurs and profesionals, but for now he just took a walk inside "So who is you boss again? Would like to speak to him" said to Kat. Using a string of force, he managed to steal a glass of whatever from a waitress that was passing by. After taking a taste of it, he left it on the near table, as he didnt like drinking whisky "Only rum for me" thought. The weird guys that entered didnt seemed to be looking for a chat. The weird leader guy said something about a pirate king and other idiotic chet that bother him "And are those guys with you?"
