My Dear Friend in the Force Kel Se'Taav,
I write to you as I often have in past, but I do so with a burdened heart. In our last corespondance, you'll recall the difficulites I have been
having with my daughter Arhiia. I am in need of your help Kel -- I wish to send her your way, to spend time on Fondor with you in the Senate...
to learn the ways of the world, of politics -- and most of all, to gleen from your wisdom. Something eludes both my Daughter and I, and I know
that I leave her in your most capable hands. Please Kel... I could use a hand.

~ Your Friend, Iston Voronwe

The flight over was... uneventful at most Arhiia thought, albeit she'd been lost once again in a book she'd borrowed from the Archives back home This was her Father's doing, her brows forming a straight line across her face as she externalized the growing frustration from within... this was another pointless exercise, something he'd felt would benefit her -- or, just take responsibility away from him, the 'actual' parent... if you could even call him that after all these years... she'd barely had anytime with him one-on-one.

The shuttle landed in the bays that was the new Senate Building on Fondor -- there had been reasons beyond her limited understanding as a youngling why the locations had changed from Coruscant to here... but she knew whatever reason it was, there was a damn good one for them to uproot all the Senators to this new location. Exiting the ramp, she secured her satchel to her side and looked down at her holopad, the location and person she was meeting went by the name of Kel Se'Taav, a Bothan Senator... someone she'd never once heard about but was told by her Father she could learn a lot from him... yeah -- typically answer. Truth be told, as Arhiia walked across the shuttle bay and towards the check point to the Senators Offices -- she could learn as much if not more just being left alone to her studies in the Archives... but no; he felt the need as usual to meddle and get in her affairs -- determine and judge what was best for her, as if he still had that right... unfortunately, he did, or so her Father and all the Council felt he did.

The checkpoint went off without hitch.. however, they did raise eyebrows on her lightsabre, until she confirmed her identity... then like always, there was the false praising of "How nice to see a Jedi..." or "We are honored to have you here"... such a load of bull Arhiia internally scoffed. No one knew her -- everything said is just merely a social necessity, said as not to offend anyone, or to tickle ears... this sort of thing was wasted on Arhiia and tired her to no end. Coming now to the offices of Kel Se'Taav Kel Se'Taav , Arhiia cleared her voice to the receptionist by his door and spoke, her soft yet monotone soprano voice piercing the silence of the woman typing on her holopad. "Ma'am... I am Arhiia Voronwe of the New Jedi Order. I have a summons here that states I'm to meet with Senator Kel Se'Taav -- and to report directly to him for the next few weeks. Would you let him know I've arrived?"

Kel's misty eyes glanced over the holo-message from his old friend Iston Voronwe one last time before he settled in to pen a reply.

My friend, Master Iston Voronwe,

We both know that young Arhiia is headstrong and ambitious -- one can only imagine where gets those attributes from! But alas, I sympathize with you greatly, my friend. Rearing children is no easy feat. I would be honored to lend my aid however I can. If that entails stationing Arhiia here with me on Fondor, then I will gladly do my part to help you - and her - find a better path. I look forward to seeing her soon. I hope that she remembers her good Uncle Kel!

- Your friend, always, Kel Se'Taav
P.S. I'm sending you a fine Bothan vintage I picked up in the market. Fantastic stuff!

"Yes, of course, Padawan Voronwe. Please, have a seat while I inform the senator that you're here." The woman bowed her head thoughtfully, tapping a few buttons on her holopad. A muffled voice spoke into a small comlink she wore in her ear, prompting her to respond aloud. "Senator Se'Taav, your guest is here. Shall I send her in?" There was a brief pause, then the woman nodded and tapped the comlink with a manicured finger. "The senator will be here in a moment," she said with a smile.

And not even a full minute later, the door to Kel's office slid open and the Bothan elder stepped into the reception area. He wasn't sure if the girl would welcome a hug, a handshake, or words alone, so he opted for a kind nod and a warm smile. "My, my, have you grown! And you're a Padawan, now, no less. Welcome to Fondor, my girl! Please, join me. We've several things to discuss while the evening is young, and the paperwork is light." He led the way into his office chambers, which felt familiar to those the senators were afforded on Coruscant, albeit noticeably smaller. Kel gestured to an open seat in front of his desk before walking to the other side and sinking into his chair.

The soft orange glow of the Fondorian sunset cast the room in a warm bath of light, which was only interrupted by the thin metal blinds running horizontally across the viewport. It shined against the back of the Bothan's head in a way that highlighted the grey-white streaks in his otherwise dark brown hair, accentuating the age he'd put on since his first days as senator of Abregado-rae. He smiled at Ahriia, clearly happy to see her.

"I know that Fondor was not your first pick of where to go, Ahriia. I know that working in the Senate was not your idea. But," he said with a click of his tongue, "your father is a very dear friend of mine. He can be callous, disillusioned, overbearing... but he loves you very much, my dear. I hope that you can hold onto that truth as we begin this new journey together, hm?" Kel had more to say, but he didn't want to spend the entirety of her first afternoon on Fondor preaching at her. Poor Ahriia got enough of that as it was from her father. The senator paused for a moment, allowing for her to speak her mind. He hoped that she felt comfortable doing so; in the Senate, one must not be shy or apprehensive, lest the voice of the masses drown yours out.

Arhiia's eyes flashed with a familiarity that would be a dead giveaway -- she'd indeed remembered Kel. The memory powerful, taking her back in a split second, her hand in her Father's, strolling down a hall, Kel's warm laughter in the back. It felt safe, it felt secure -- she felt loved... she remembered those days, her Father seemed, happier when she was little, but as she grew older -- and often being reminded of "how much you look like your mother" -- that saying became more of an insult, a point of guilt and contention than a compliment, for the warmth she remembered as a child was gone... and only loss, guilt and sorrow showed in her Fathers eyes, and this clouded everything bringing her back to reality.

Her face remaining rather stoic, but very subtly, a genuine smile formed at the edge of her lips. "Hello Kel -- why my mind did not make the connection you were who he sent me to escapes me. It is good to see you. So do I call you Senator Kel.... or can I still call you Uncle Kel?" The sincerity would be felt in these words as well as the familiarity in calling him Uncle -- for Kel had been around for a long time, he'd even had the privilege of knowing her Mother, Iris and had been her Fathers friend for a long time. Her walls and her guard dropped just ever so slightly as she followed Kel into the room -- the safety of his presence beginning to chip away at her exterior shell... but still she remained to herself, frustration apparent in her eyes.

Sure as feth wasn't her pick, Arhiia thought inwardly as Kel spoke... however, as he continued and brought up her Father, her eyes narrowed as she sat down, folding her hands in her lap as her gaze cast downwards at the floor. He'd nailed how she felt about him -- he was callous, disillusioned and overbearing... a pompous, hypocritical man. Biting her lip she tried her hardest to push these thoughts down -- she didn't hate her father, but some venomous monstrosity always seemed to rise up within her -- like a wounded animal fighting to just survive. Looking up, noting Kel had paused, he simply stared at her, almost as if giving her the respect to freely speak her mind which surprised her -- for she wasn't used to this sort of interaction. Normally during her discussions with her Father, or with other Masters in the Order she was typically preached at, taught at or... told not to allow her emotions to lead her versus working through the negative feelings and finding the root of the issue.

Meeting his gaze with her vibrant blue eyes -- much like her Mothers were, her soft voice broke the silence, the soprano tone chiming throughout the room. "He's callous alright, overbearing -- and a pretentious, overzealous ass. He didn't once think to ask me anything, like why send me here -- he never listens and I hate that I get this angry when I think, talk to him or about him but I can't help it. "Your so much like your mother", "You remind me so much of her", "I can't understand why your like this, your Mother wouldn't want this"... I'm so sick and tired of being compared to someone that I NEVER -- " Her lip shook as her fists tightened. "... got the chance to meet! So, tell me Kel... you tell ME how can I be mad at someone I've never met?" Her voice trembled as her chest rose unevenly, tears threatening to break free from her eyes as they shimmered violently, Arhiia now onto her feet, a "tck" escaping her mouth as she gritted her teeth. Speaking once again, her voice broke, her body shaking. "Its. not. fair." It wasn't, it was down right cruel. "I haven't even had the chance to just be me -- he doesn't see me, he see's her... so as much as I'd like to believe that truth -- I don't... because things are not ok, and part of me is even happy that I'm not around him right now, maybe -- maybe its for the best. He sends me here because we are different, because I am like her, because I cause him nothing but pain -- because its my--...." She broke down, her hand coming up as tears streamed down her face. "Its my fault she's dead and he should hate me -- because I hate me." Her heart sunk — she shouldn’t be this weak, she shouldn’t loose control like this, but there was no one to talk too — and in the end, Kel next to her father, was the only real family she had left.

The old Bothan smiled warmly, an expression that would feel quite familiar to Ahriia. Much like her father used to be, Kel was a kind man who cared deeply for his friends and family, both blood and chosen. "Uncle Kel works just fine," he said. "Unless, of course, Chancellor Denko-Durren is around," he added with a wink. It was, after all, quite possible that Arhiia would meet such esteemed officials as Auteme while working alongside him. Kel's military background and pension for wise and strategic deliberation often earned him a seat in some of the Senate's most important meeting chambers. He hoped that the possibility of tagging along for such occasions would take the sting out of what he could only imagine felt like desk duty for an adventurous young Jedi.

Kel listened quietly and attentively as Arhiia's words grew incredibly painful and poisonous. He wanted to interject several times, to stop her from saying things that she might not mean or would regret later, but he had to remind himself that stifling Arhiia was exactly something Iston would do. The best think Kel could do for her now was the one thing her father couldn't quite grasp: listen. When she had finished, Kel dipped his head in a nod of solidarity.

"There is no room for hate in a family," Kel said fondly. There was a hint of sadness in his voice, though it felt juxtaposed, as if it were stemming from something in his own life. "Iston doesn't hate you, Arhiia. I doubt he truly blames you, either. At your age, it can be difficult to see your father as anyone else besides a bitter, uncaring man -- but believe me when I tell you that he likely blames himself, not you, for your mother's passing. There is a pain there that he has not yet resolved, and perhaps rather than pushing you away as you believe, your father could be searching within himself for answers and truths that he simply cannot reach with someone so deeply connected to the root of his hurting." Kel swallowed, giving pause and hoping that his rather curt assessment of her situation hadn't upset her. After a moment, he carried on.

"Perhaps there is pain that you can address during your time apart from your father, too. The galaxy shifts and turns, dealing new hands and discarding old ones all the time. Some call it the will of the Force," he said, smiling. "Some call it fate. I call it life." Kel stood then, moving to a small wet bar on the side of the room and pouring them both a glass of ice water. He handed Arhiia a cup and returned to his seat, clearing his throat and sipping at the chilled liquid. "Ah, that's better. There's much we could discuss, but I think it may do you some good to let these things simmer a bit more before we tuck in. Why don't you tell me something good that's happening, hm? How goes your training? You must be chuffed as chips to be on the path of the Jedi!"

He had given her something she'd needed for a long time, safe space. Space to speak her mind, to not be judged, not be condescended and most of all, just be heard. All she could do after the levee of grief had burst forth from the walls she'd built around her exterior was to try with all her might to control her breathing -- to imagine it as a light, and with each breath she took, allowing that light to fill her mind and encompass everything... this was what her Father had taught her as a small child when she would become worked up, this was something he did with her when she needed clarity, when life would become unfocused... and as she listened to Kel speak, she began to calm down, listening to his heartfelt words -- words spoken only in truth and earnest.

Rationality kicking back in her mind, she began to process everything. Of course she knew deep down her Father did not hate her -- that was just silly and she knew it... but as Kel spoke about the possible grief that he might still feel, and the possible responsibility of him blaming himself for her mothers passing, a pit formed in her stomach. Had she been so self-absorbed that she believed he didn't feel the loss, that he didn't feel pain from not having her anymore?... the cold hard truth? Yes, she had been.

Taking a few more deep breaths, wiping her face off and trying to regain her composure in front of Kel -- accepting the glass of water offered too her. Arhiia cleared her throat. "Thank you Kel..." His words once again spoke directly, and cut exactly how they needed too -- there was pain that needed addressed away from her Father, and that healing work, was already taking place, and -- as planned, Kel was the driving force for this healing. Looking at Kel, and smiling just slightly, her eyes glossy, her cheeks flushed, she spoke, her voice cracking slightly. "I've heard news that a meeting will be set up between me and new prospective Master in the next few months, but I have been working diligently at my independent studies. I often find solace in the Archives, often tucked reading about different races, planets, things regarding the force -- or even dabbling in some of the finer points to do with politics and ambassador work." She paused clearing her throat once again, only now to take a sip of the water Kel had given her. "I struggle a little more than most my classmates in physical drills -- its like a cruel joke -- mental feats come easy, but give me a hard enough kick to my side, or if I pivot fast enough I end up spraining something or injuring myself -- but i never once back down -- which has caused others to give me the nickname of "violence"... not the best nickname in my opinion." But truth of the matter was, the grief, the anger, the sorrow and all the rest of it has only helped to build the false identity she'd felt to this point -- but, if one word rung true about the young lady in front of Kel, it was tenacious... she didn't like to quit, she didn't like to be made to feel weak or helpless -- and she loved being prepared which was why she dedicated so much time to her studies.

Tenacious,” he said, clearly on the same wavelength as Arhiia. He pursed his lips as he thought. “Ambitious. Determined! But not violent. Emotions are a spectrum, and we can feel them one by one or all at once - it’s a shame that most people can only see them individually in others.

Kel seemed to drift in his thoughts for a moment, but he was present again very quickly. His eyes were alight with curiosity and excitement. “A meeting with a Jedi Master is quite exhilarating! I’m friends with more than a few ranking members of the Order, you know. I can’t wait to hear which one has taken interest and who you will be apprenticed to.” Of course, he wanted to give Arhiia space to live and explore on her own. Kel hoped that his eagerness to be present wouldn’t be misconstrued as overbearing or negligent of her boundaries.

Underneath the graying whiskers and political acumen, Kel was just an old Bothan with a big heart.

He nudged the conversation back to her studies. “Do you have an interest in galactic politics, or is that an extension of your father?” Kel asked. He spoke from a place of curiosity, not judgement; she could answer as honestly as she wanted to.

A genuine, grin -- the first since she'd arrived when the words 'tenacious' escaped Kel's lips. Suddenly, the nickname 'violence' seemed less like a mark of shame and now a badge of honor. She was tenacious -- always persevering at no matter what was thrown her way, she never gave up and never backed down -- she was as unyielding as a raging river -- cutting new pathways as time went on.

As Kel brought up the subject on the Master -- she let out a small sigh. "My summons was given at the request of my Father, from the council. I won't lie -- I'm rather perturbed because instead of someone seeing me, for me -- it was done mainly because he intervened. If I was meant to gain a Master, I wanted to do it on my terms, not his." She spoke sternly, her true feelings coming out -- it wasn't that she hated her Father, she was frustrated with him because her uncertainty of whether she'd accomplished it was unknown.

Arhiia, taking another small sip off of her water, she sat it down on the table, moving a coaster first to ensure it wouldn't damage the table, she crossed her legs neatly and folded her hands, her intense sapphire eyes staring straight at Kel. "Albeit my Father can be known for his... speeches, no. My interest in politics and ambassador are entirely my own. I've given thought to how I could use something like that as a Jedi, helping to solve disputes better, or how it would apply to helping make an actual change -- our greatest weapon is not a sabre, but rather Form Zero, as it will not be a weapon I use to bring about change, or forge new relations, but rather a well articulated sentence. Now... keep in mind, I only know of what I've read -- my experience in the matter is sorely lacking." She paused, clearly choosing her next words carefully, her hand coming up just slightly, almost as if in defeat, then going back down. "Now keep in mind -- I still have zero issue with cracking someone upside the head if that too is what the situation calls for. As Father always tells me, when diplomacy fails -- aggressive negotiations come next." The corner of her lip curling upwards in a small grin, she was more like her Father than she'd ever care to admit.

Spoken like a true Voronwe,” Kel praised. He hoped Arhiia would attribute the compliment to some of her family’s other notables instead of taking it as a comparison to Iston.

As always, Kel nodded and listened, scratching his chin or moving his eyebrows as he considered her words. “Perhaps your father’s influence inspired someone to come see you sooner than had he not gotten involved,” Kel admitted, “but the NJO is not an unvirtuous lot. Bribery and suggestion may sway a few, but at the end of the day, the relationship between a Master and their Padawan is a sacred thing.” He knew Arhiia was aware of that truth. It wasn’t about patronizing her with an explanation, rather reminding her of the truth about just how far she was from her father’s will.

Even if a Jedi Master met you at Iston’s behest, it is no easy decision to train a young Jedi. Your Master must trust you with their life, and no amount of badgering can make that choice trivial.” What he meant was, a Jedi Master would take her on by the merit of her abilities and acumen. All she had to do was train and exercise patience. Kel sipped his water, clearing his throat.

He was pleased that government work was her own machination.

Ambassadorial apprenticeships weren’t uncommon for Padawan learners, especially those who were keen on diplomacy over the blade. “The Jedi Consulars would be very interested in a Padawan with such proclivities,” Kel said with a smile. “Even with your aggressive negotiations!” He chuckled right from the belly at that sentiment. The Bothan enjoyed the laugh, but calmed himself to continue chatting.

Yes, yes. Of course, Iston requested that I offer you any junior legislative tasks my office has. He was adamant about it, but like the Jedi, I, too, do not take apprentices lightly.” Naturally, Kel knew already he would do anything for his niece, but he wasn’t telling a lie either; if she wanted to work beside him in the Alliance Senate, she’d have to work just as hard as Breha Sal-Soren or any other aide he’d had over the years.

Assuming that’s what she wanted, anyway.

There were thousands of senators and ambassadors she could apprentice to if working with Kel wasn’t her wish.

Arhiia listened to Kel go on about the relationship between Master and Apprentice. It wasn't that it didn't appeal to her necessarily... it wasn't even the occasional sparring that she got to do -- again, her nickname was 'violence' for a reason, but maybe it was because it was someone she didn't know, and was automatically just supposed to give respect and trust to them? That part never set right with her -- trust was a fickle thing and it was meant to be earned. "I suppose it's just something new -- something I would have to get used too, but could over time."

As he broached the subject of the Jedi Consular, she smirked yet again. "Thank you -- your for the compliment. I had actually hoped to go that route -- it's actually the same route Father took, although he does not yet know it; I suppose part of me chose not to share that with him and deny him that pleasure." A dissatisfied grimace came onto her face as her sapphire eyes looked off and into the distance, her arms crossing as if hugging to comfort herself. "Maybe in my next correspondence to him, I might share that with him." It wasn't much -- but in just the short time she'd been here -- the wall that had formed between the two had formed a small chip -- and she was already starting to see things from a different light she hadn't prior to being here.

However, upon hearing Kel speak about doing junior legislative tasks while being here, her head snapped back, her eyes inquisitive. Granted -- her father, like most things, had already asked -- but, she knew Kel -- and she knew he would never do something just because he'd asked him too. "I wouldn't let you down -- I mean that... and I would be honored to apprentice under you while here and I would work hard to prove my worth... If, I was offered such a role." Her tone was sincere as was her interest, it being clearly evident on her facial expression.

The old Bothan smiled. He was glad that Arhiia was coming around, and also eager to accept the challenge of mentoring her through the turbulent sea of Alliance politics.

To her idea of telling Iston about her chosen Jedi path, Kel nodded. "Yes, your father would be pleased to hear from you. Even more so to see that you're interested in the same specialization as he was." Kel could tell that she would prefer not to give him the satisfaction, but perhaps she needed a different angle to view the circumstance from.

"You know, there's no shame in following in his footsteps. Being a Jedi Consular will mean something totally different to you than it did to him. The times are different, the Order is different - stars know, the Senate is different. You will live a totally different life than Iston, one that is unique to you." It would seem a simple concept to anyone else that each walk is different, but Kel understood well the pressure and disdain of repeating the same steps of life as your elders. He himself followed a nearly identical path as his father during his early years on Bothawui. Kel attended the same academy as his father, and his father's father.

Granted she was more open and friendlier demeanor with Kel, she still wondered about her relationship with her Father... and whether or not her reaching out would bear any fruit... but at the behest of Kel, she would continue to try. She still had one parent, that was still something.

He was right once again... being a Consular had a totally different meaning to her than it did to her Father.

Her whole life, she never felt her voice had any power -- that she was never heard, this belief only supported by how she'd been raised by her Father. However -- as she was slowly beginning to find out, her voice was her most powerful tool, next to the sleeping power that lie within her which was the force. Where some had no voice -- Arhiia hoped to be a key factor in being that voice, in defending them, in creating treaties, in building bridges were none lie.

She wanted to walk her own Jedi Path.

"Your right on all accounts Uncle... and I do look forward to advancing in my knowledge and honing my skills both there and here... which leads me to my next question I suppose." She paused as she cleared her throat. "What will my duties look like in regards to being a junior assistant?"

Junior representatives have a rather wide range of duties to attend to, but the most common of them are to support the office of the senator they’re assigned to. In your case, that would be mine - I represent Abregado-rae,” Kel explained with gusto. He knew Arhiia was familiar at least with the name of Kel’s adoptive homeworld, but he thought it best to give her the full spiel like he would for any other junior member of his office.

He passed her a data pad that was kept on hand for onboarding and tapped the screen. Images of Abregado glowed on the display, which he swiped with his finger as an invitation for her to peruse if she’d like. “When I took office, Abregado-rae was nothing like it is today - she was often referred to as the Core’s Outer Rim, on account of the rampant crime and corruption.” Kel could remember it plainly, and the recollection would be evident on his face. He took office during the chancellorship of Aerarii Tithe Aerarii Tithe when the Senate was still divided between political parties; those were treacherous days, when the Corporatists pulled strong behind closed doors that affected billions of unknowing citizens.

Kel survived an assassination attempt, enlisted the service of Padawan Anneliese Kaohal Anneliese Kaohal as a bodyguard, and authored a bill granting medical care to Jedi injured in GADF conflicts, all in one night. Treacherous times, indeed.

Abregado is in much better shape now,” Kel said fondly, his thoughts returning to Arhiia. “There are a great many projects and pieces of legislation that a young representative such as you would like to participate in. I believe the better question is, what would you like to be involved with?

To Kel’s knowledge, the most current bill in the works was one from Veradune regarding planetary defense fleets. Another was gaining traction, one regarding Force users, although Kel wasn’t yet certain if the legislation was for or against their interests.

On a smaller scale, Abregado’s military industrial complex was making a bid to render the New Jedi Order’s next generation of personal armor; of Arhiia had interests in the business of war and defense, he could appoint her to coordinate with Shield of Rae to oversee the project.

If neither of those avenues enticed her, Kel was certain he could find a good alternative.

Arhiaa listened intently to Kel as he spoke on what the duties of a Junior Legislative Position would be for her while in his offices -- a voice for the minorities, a way to make an impact and meaningful difference -- to use her voice for something good.

As Kel slid the data-pad over to her, her hand came up and quickly snatched it away, coveting the pad all the while her eyes tediously studying it as she scrolled through the contents of the pad, all the while listening to Kel as he spoke on who he represented, Abregado and in regards to how much ground he'd made in improving the quality of life there.

As her thumb came up and met with her lips, nibbling on the end in deep thought she pondered where she would fit in the grand scheme of things, how she could contribute. Speaking now, her voice breaking the silence, her eyes met with his, the sapphire orbs reflecting the light that bled in through the slits of the blinds.

"I'm not sure where I'd fit in... as this is all relatively new to me -- but the prospect of my voice being used as a tool for those without a voice is... exciting to say the least." She paused as she thought once again about what she could be involved with. "I've always pictured myself being one to help bring understanding, agreement, and acceptance to disputes. In times of great strife, there will always be one party, person, organization -- that is still not completely happy with everything they may or may not be getting out of a treaty, agreement -- so on and so forth. I want to be the tool that helps them see why what happens is good, or to be the agent that tips the scales in their favor -- the voice that points the way for them."

She sighed slightly.

"I apologize for the rant, but alas -- I'm not sure where one would fit in regards to what I've just said."

Kel nodded along as Arhiia spoke, not the least bit bothered by her thoughtful response. He appreciated that she felt so strongly about choosing the right path. The part of him that was her uncle even expected it, when considering how highly he thought of her. Arhiia had great potential and no shortage of drive. She just needed to find the right project to apply it towards.

"In my experience," he said knowingly, perhaps even a bit mischievously, "people who feel the way you do about these things rarely find a place to fit; rather, they make a place to fit." Wiser men than Kel would call this 'manifesting one's destiny,' but he preferred 'tearing down walls' much better. It was more honest, if nothing else.

"You will make a fine mediator indeed," he went on, giving a name to the role Arhiia described. "But first, you must get a taste for the Senate. See what it's like in the great Convocation Hall, hear the voices of thousands relaying the wishes of billions. And before even that, we must make sure you're settled in nicely here on Fondor." Kel winked at her, hoping she'd allow herself a bit of time to unwind and get used to this new world. Even he needed to slow down every once in a while, to enjoy the view.

"Come, dear. Let's find someplace nice to eat. My treat!"
