The Finer Details

You didn't know the half of it, the interior of the ship was being designed to not look like a shop with hijarna stone walls and aurodium to give it more a look of a royal palace with rooms dedicated to showing many things. She brought of the look of it all as they had installed stealth systems on the ship that were being worked on. She had worked on it to be worth quite a lot and they had developed the stygium cloak as well as the power system fo the ship that would make everything function. "Oh you have no idea my lady, we have been working quite a lot on some of the big things within the ship. These men were notable for being ship makers but they like to break deals which is not good." Junko was moving and setting up a second datapad that was downloading the information she wanted from the computers here.

"You should've left some form of insurance" said Kat as she checked the power levels of her weapons. The sniper rifle was slowly powering back to full, where as the carbine was already topped off. The DC series may be considered ancient, but blast if they weren't reliable.

That would be helpful, or would have been. She dind't have the soldiers or ranger's to assign for her own personal things. A ship she could use to travel across the galaxy with her padawans or all of them. Give them a place they would be able to stay on board. The would be more then large enough to have for herself and others while providing everything needed comfort wise to maintain it with her own staff and crew. Junko was moving and looking at the woman. "Maybe but I do I like to try and trust people, I only have so many personal security Yovshin that are able to roam around and work with me in some tasks." Staying with it when the woman when she was coming towards the stairs. "Though you are skilled for insurance purposes."

(I have no clue how I missed this...)

Kat scoffed slightly, "If people have a reputation, there's usually a good reason for it." she said in a matter-of-factly tone. "And insurance doesn't even have to be man power. Just something they want. Did you pay upfront?" she asked.

"Half up front and was waiting for it, one bar of aurodium." She was looking at it and the aurodium bars were small lightweight and you could easily carry ten in a normal pocket with each being worth three hundred million a piece. She had a number of mines for herself and her family while they were moving through it with the information. She could see they had fulfilled the goals of her ship though, the stealth systems, the weapons and the thicker heavier armor for it. It was all there to serve a purpose for the group to mvoe around. She started ascending the stairs though looking at the woman. "Guess they din't want the rest, three hundred million tends to make some people happy." She got a look though while moving and had her saber out and activated with the amber blade prepared to defend against their shots when the massive section of ramp going up to the ship.

"Three hundred million! By the Force, how much money do you have! That many credits could put a smile on a Hutt's slimy face!" Kat exclaimed in disbelief, he jaw dropping to the floor.

Junko paused for a moment looking at her for a time. "Yes it wasn't much, my family owns maybe three hundred aurodium mines and has stores across the galaxy. It was not that much to give an ingot for services needed." She was looking at it with a nod of her head though while she was looking at the ship with a grin on her face. "It helped to build this ship and allows for fixing up planets or whatever else is needed." She said it but the woman seemed surprised.

A lot of people would kill for that kind of money Kat thought. "If I'd been one of those mechanics I woulda just gotten the blasted job done and made off with another one of those tiny ingots." With that ind of money she could build enough of a life to never have to worry about those at home. She could sit back and relax...but that wasn't exactly her style.

Junko looked at her when she was going towards it and the ship opened. "Yes but people aren't always looking to be smart about things. Many of them like the quick and easy path. I imagine they were set to take the ship and keep it along with the ingot. Then maybe try to ransom it back." She shrugged though while going and was prepared for a number of different things they could do. With a small grin on her face as the ship opened and the interior was vastly different. Not metal but stone over the metal and it looked like rich marble that was smooth and almost reflective. She was leading the way in as gold and aurodium was in it for images that had jewels encrusted in the marle. "Ah you look beautiful and like everything I was hoping for." Junko said it while she was looking at the service droids working on it and they were still Saotome construction droids which meant they were still preforming the tasks needed and acknowledged her. "Princess Ike, welcome."

Kat backed into the large ship, still covering the two's six, not taking risks until they knew they were both safe. "Ain't that the truth." she said as she turned. As he eyes fell on the opulent interior of the ship her mouth fell open. This woman was Princess of what again? she thought to herself, "This is...." she bit back the word 'ridiculous' "A lot to take in."

It wasn't so much that Kat didn't appreciate beautiful things. Or opulence. She was just preferred simple things. However, this, the jewels encrusted in marble, was a bit too much in her opinion. Well to each their own.

Looking at the woman with a grin on her face when she walked through the halls of the ship and it was large and opulent for all of them to see. Before she turned around closing the airlock leading the way through. "It can be, there is a lot here that they were installing on this beast of a ship." Compared to many they had other things to work on as the main central area was presented to all of them, giving a lift that went up and she spoke bringing up the design of the ship. "The bridge of the ship it in the center of it, the weapon systems are designed to be heavy like the hull plating by eliminating the internal hanger in favor of dvanced systems to run everything and to allow it to have all of this here. All of the hull plating the strength so my flying palace can be protected with these advanced stealth systems."

"Flying palace is right!" the woman exclaimed, "But, hell, you could call this thing a fortress if you wanted too!" While [member="Junko Ike"] could use a hand in interior decorating, in Kat's opinion, she certainly new how to arm a ship! Heavy hull plating and stealth systems, plus heavy armaments. While this thing probably couldn't pull some high speed maneuvers very well, it could probably et in, blow the oblivion out of whatever it needed and then get out before anyone made a dent in the armor plating. Yeah. Kat liked this ship a lot more than she had before.

Junko looked at her as they arrived on he bridge in the center of the ship at the top of the pyramid in the center and looking out from the crystasteel viewports around there were some signs of resistance as other ships were coming up but Junko was also looking at the capstone of her ship. On the design, the most expensive part of it with the crystal grav trap built into the ship so that it had well a sense of power and purpose. She wasn't going to waste her time worrying about problems when she could hire a good captain, have a skilled crew and let them fly her around should it be needed around the galaxy. "All good palaces need to be small fortresses otherwise it would not be a safe place to have a royal." Junko was looking more at it and she tapped the controls as some of the droids activated. "Now you droids prepare for departure and make sure we have everything." She wanted to look up more of the things. "If you want to help on the guns we can pick up your ship and keep it in the hanger and then test out the stealth systems."

"Sounds good to me." Ahhhh guns. Perhaps Kat's one weakness. Both literal and metaphorical. The woman followed the droids out to one of the gun emplacements, lithely seating herself into the machine, placing the headset over her ears. "On your go Princess." The display lit up before her eyes, illuminating her face as her hand gripped the targeting systems and trigger. It'd been a long time since she found herself in the gunner seat of anything. Usually she was piloting. She preferred having control of the ship as opposed to relying on others to transport her safely. However she did enjoy blowing things to smithereens.

Junko was looking at her while she was preparing the ship and she went to the small throne, compared ot the one she hd in her palace that she could sit on. Sticking there for a moment longer as the ship started to lift up with the large shape of it sleek and black from the stealth polymer that was over the plating of it. Allowing the jedi knight to over see the screen that was taking them up. There were some fighters as she spoke. "Flak cannons and point defense turrets prepare for firing." A smirk on her face when the ship started to lift itself off and she could see the citadel tower the jedi had. "Be careful of fire near the tower we want it intact so preservation teams can move in and secure it."

"Copy that Princess." Kat flipped the red safety button, the systems screens turning from red to green. "I'm live and ready to rock and roll. Just show me the targets." The glowing screen illuminated with red triangles, symbolizig the enemy fighters. "Where the phrik do these people get fighters anyways? I thought they were mechanics."

[member="Junko Ike"]

[member="Kat'Lariah Syphex"]

"Well mechanics would have fighters, maybe not their own." Junko was looking at it as the ship was rising up and the screen came up. The image of the one man as he was speaking. "Princess you shouldn't have done that, we claimed it fairly after you paid for the services. This is being used by the Saeed brothers now. THeir slaves need a better place to be displayed for their new masters." Junko looked at him and she was not going to let her ship be violated like that when she spoke. "Alright, all gun stations find their base and target it. We don't want to kill the slaves but we do't have the troops to rescue them. See if you can disable it and their ship or communications. We'll call in reinforcements."

Kat nodded despite the Princess beig unable to see her. "Copy that, targetting comms station." pressing two buttons on the screen the comms tower was highlighted in yellow. The gunner seat swiveled, the barrels of the massive gun lining up with the comm tower. A gentle squeeze of the trigger and loud boom revertebratrd through the ship as the comms tower was blown to pieces.

Junko was looking at it and she wasn't for killing things but she wasn't going to deny seeing a large cannon fire off is completely badass way to destroy something. She was liking the sight of it all before she sat back and was setting a course on the hardlight display to give them a place to stay. In orbit of the planet so they could follow and track a lot of the ships on the surface when they were following it. Junko remained there while she was looking over it. "Will of the Force this is Junko Ike, I am at one of the jedi temples and am asking for reinforcements to help secure the sight for Seimei to come in and work on it." She was looking at more of it and she had her ship that was showing all of its weapons were working at peak performance when they were targeting the mechanic thieves ships that were coming at them.

Kat switched to targetting the incoming fighters, her gunner's post moving in dizzying ways, all to keep up with the speeding metallic insects. She targetted one of the fighters careening towards their craft, it suddenly burst into flames, momentum carrying it all forward, fire briefly engulfing the post. An adrenaline fueled whoop could be heard by [member="Junko Ike"] through her comms at the death of the enemy fighter.
