Ta’a Chume – Queen Mother
[SIZE=18pt]The First of Hopefully Many[/SIZE]
Over Hapes Prime a marvel of The Consortium engineering was in orbit. The Star Home was a floating city and it was not the only ship in orbit. Many vessels slew to and from the planet while the Star Home overseen the repair effort of their capital city on Hapes Prime. The Dredge incident had ended with [member="Tanomas Graf"] launching a tactical nuke on the capital city. It was galactic political common knowledge the Royal Council had died in the attack. What was not know whoever the Queen Mother was killed in the same attack.

Allana however was the cousin to the Queen, and the only known living family member still alive. She was only seventeen and forced to handled the crisis. The young lady did have a plan though and allies to support her. Part of that plan was going to be handled this day and hopefully with positive results.

This part of the plan, it was to extend friendship. Not every friendship was the same. Every friendship hopefully made today might not be the same. However Allana hoped it would work so could continue to further protect the Hapes Consortium.

The stage was set. A luscious parlor upon the Star Home was set to receive guests. The living space was furnished with fitted in mind for the royal family of the Hapes Consortium. The amount of credits spent of the luxury within the room was a reflection of the wealth of the Consortium. Here was here Allana hoped to entertain her guest. They were still due to arrive in the system of Hapes Prime but had the invitation to travel through the Hapes Cluster.

It was a meeting set with a handful of individuals. She had contracts to be discussed with [member="Ardgal Raxis"] , [member="Gilamar Skirata"], and the Alderaani Lady [member="Rashae"] . Allana had toppled the trade embargo that had been place by the Queen Mother of the Consortium. She was free to do trade with companies from other galactic nations. More importantly the people of the Consortium were free to do trade outside of the Hapes Cluster. This hallmarked a new era of the Consortium. Hopefully today marked many more days of making new friendships.

"Damn it," the words slipped from Ardgal's lips like an angry hiss. The man threw the pistol across the phirk Pistol across his room, it slammed into the durasteel bulkhead with a heavy bang. Sweat poured off the man's dark brow as he gripped the edge of his bed. Ardgal's breath came in heavy pants, the man struggled to hold on to the moment. His gauntleted hand ran across his bare scalp, trying to unsee the horrors playing before his eyes.

A knock came at the door.

"What?" he barked.

"We've arrived," Virgil's voice came from the other side, stone cold and uncaring. He heard her boots march down the end of the corridor, and once more the man was totally alone.

"Get your crap together, Ardgal," the general muttered to himself, rising to his feet.

The beskar clad general marched down the Star home's halls with Virgil not far behind. He didn't know his lady love, [member="Rashae"] was headed to the same meeting as him, or even that she was in the system. He had been--preoccupied--trying to fight a war on multiple fronts. And more than that, he had been consumed trying to recover from it. He didn't want her to see that side of him. Not now, not ever. And his troops? They certainly didn't need to know.

White helmet tucked neatly in his arm and armor-Clad Virgil not far behind him, the general made his way to the prepared parlor. He knew the state of this occasion and the formality involved. But, well, Mandos were expected to wear armor pretty much everywhere. Ardgal had done the numbers; Mandos in armor made 50% more than those who wore any thing else.

He gave the woman who had invited him a nod and offered his hand, "General Ardgal Raxis, glad to finally meet you in person," he nodded back at Virgil, "My associate. Virgil."
