The Fist Returns

Orcus blinked, then looked around, picked up a head-sized chunk of duracrete rubble and chucked it at the Mandalorian's jetpack with enough force to dent a light-armored speeder... or to cause a jetpack to explode.

Verd felt something flying towards his back and just as he activated his jetpack, a huge chunk of duracrete slammed into the pack, causing it to explode, releasing enough force to fling him out the huge gap in the roof, knee colliding with the edge of the hole, causing him to flip as he flew through the air, coming down with a crash into a pot of water that was just starting to be heated for making a soup. quickly climbing out, he limped to a nearby speeder and using his hud, activated his ship's slave circutry system, to pick him up. he started the speeder and floored the hunk of junk, not knowing how bad his injuries actually were, and he wouldn't until he got to the one place that he knew for sure would take him in.

It took little time before Sabena managed to reach the outskirts of Mos Eisley. For the most part, people were moving along in their normal routine. Yet as she coasted further toward the source of the pillar of dirt and smoke, she noticed a growing amount of people also going in the same direction.

As her eyes were focused on the cloud reaching up into the sky, Sabena accidentally bumped into a Dug. Immediately, Sabena stopped her speeder bike. The Dug rolled backwards - uncontrolled. His face landed into a pile of Ronto poodoo.

Immediately after the impact, the Dug got back on his feet (or hands?) and started rambling in Huttese. The Dug wiped some of the poodoo off his face with his hand (or foot?) and tossed it to the side. The profanities he spat were definitely not for civilized company.

I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” apologized Sabena profusely as the fight within the warehouse [member="Jacen Cavill"] was in continued.

The scene had changed dramatically in about thirty seconds. Where there stood a bounty hunter in the last moments of his life, was now a Herglic. The skirmish that had taken place equated to the same scene as an ant fighting a boot. Raw, physical power enhanced with the dark side dominated the scene before him. As crafty as the hunter was, he couldn't match up with the Sith before him. A few deft movements took Kryptus away from the combat, and he could only watch in amusement. Drawing close to the man who had deflected the original burst of flame, Cavill barely lamented the loss of his training saber. Instead, he grabbed the electrum plated one on his belt and pulled it out.

Daesumnor was in storage, as were his other artifacts. The only one he wore constantly was the gauntlet of Kreshh.

"So, what brings a dark side using Herglic to a desert?" Mild amusement laced his words, but there was a respect in them. Natives of Serenno weren't know for respecting non-humans, but even Cavill recognized something that could give him a run in raw, unadulterated powder.

Orcus stooped and retrieved his saber in the wake of the Mandalorian's evacuation. He slowly clipped the weapon to his belt, using the time to slow and deepen his breathing in order to return his racing heart to normal. The thrill of the battle was a raw and primal joy, but everything had its time and place. He narrowed his eyes at the now distant Mando, then turned at [member="Jacen Cavill"]'s words.

A deep, rolling belly laugh rippled through the Herglic, though it never reached past his lips. "The same reason, I expect, that has brought so many others," he gestured with a flipper at the surrounding folk, "A dark side using human." His mouth split into a grin.

"Well met, Kryptus. I am Orcus. I believe we have met before, but that was years ago."

The creature laughed, and its massive belly moved in the process. Sinuous misdemeanors effortlessly as the creature spoke, and Kryptus found his cheeks growing hot. Yellow and crimson orbs scanned the room, looking at any surface other than the Herglic before him. Caution signs on the wall would have offered an amusing read on the idiocy of most species, had he really found much amusing. Yet, here was one of the most confident men in the galaxy growing.more and more perturbed with what amounted to a bipedal, sentient orca.

Discrimination was a part of living on Serreno, it wasn't best for a Sith Lord. That didn't stop old habits ingrained by his childhood to form. Childish appetizer, he's lucky I don't cut him up and serve him as a meal. Finally looking up, yes up. It was a unfamiliar act for the giant of a man. A small, predatory grin crossed his tainted features. Promises of death and destruction blazed in the fiery pits of his eyes.

"Ovmar left a note letting me know who took Daesumnor from me, and that he returned my weapon to my estate." With a fluidity and grace uncommon for his size, he unclippednhis lightsaber and held the emitter down towards the floor. Combat boots spread in the dirt as he distributed his weight, making sure to balance on the balls of his feet. Djem-So was about constant, forward movement.

"So what did you come for now?"

The Dug continued to yell at Sabena. The Jedi remained on her speeder bike. Though, the Dug did not give any indication of letting up. In fact, he continued to approach the Jedi - and seemed to take an intimidating posture.

Once again, Sabena calmly said, “I’m s̴o̵r̡ry̨.̷”̸

As she said that, Sabena gestured her right hand with a small wave. She then turned her speeder bike a bit to the left and coasted around the Dug. Instead of attempting to stop Sabena, the Dug continued to spit vitriolic insults at thin air where Sabena had stood.

Uninterrupted any further, Sabena continued her journey toward the warehouse where [member="Jacen Cavill"], [member="Hion the Herglic"], and others were. She eventually made it there. A few spectators gazed upon the warehouse from outside - curious about what had happen.

Didn't he deal with the Hutts?” questioned a human bystander of his female Zeltron companion.

Coasting into an alleyway, Sabena parked her speeder bike within it next to a wall. Using what she knew about the mechanics of speeders, she deftly disabled it and removed a small, critical component for running the speeder bike. She then pocketed it within one of her utility pelt pouches. Then, she removed a trap from a compartment near the back of the speeder bike - subsequently draping it over the bike to at least conceal it from immediate recognition as a speeder bike.

Then, Sabena walked out of the alleyway. A loud screech tore through the air.

What just happened?” franticly questioned another onlooker as [member="Verd Skirata"] flew through the sky after being thrown out of the building.

Sabena did not manage to get a look at the Mandalorian making his escape.

A couple minutes passed as Sabena examined the outside of the warehouse. She weaved in an out of the growing crowd - curious about what was happening, yet cautious enough not to meddle with it. Eventually, Sabena focused her attention on a side entrance that was near the opposite side of the building as the damage Jacen created.

Slowly and deliberately, Sabena opened the door. She entered the warehouse.

Coming to find herself a good spot to watch from. After what time she was giving out a yawn. It wasn't like she had anything better to do but to keep her prizes safe for now. Just what was her prize that was for her to know only. Coming to rest upon her chin was her long back polish finger nail. After all she wasn't one to get into other business. After all this was more of a way to keep her mind off of business.

Clap, Clap, Clap

Now to think that she was more of watcher then getting her own hands dirty just what give her the most pleasure the fighting or to see what great powers had gathered so quickly.

Verd sped off in the direction his ship was flying from, not stopping to think about his injuries, until he had collapsed onto the loading ramp of his ship. There were no words for the amount of pain he felt. The shrapnel that had dented and found chinks in his armor, the shrapnel riddled back, the burns from the exploding jetpack, and most of all, he could still feel his arm, but it was gone. He told his droid, "Take me to The fountain of youth clinic, call Temi." Then he passed out. The droid, following protocols closed the ramp, and took off for Hapes, calling the man's friend to let him know they were coming.

Orcus did not, in fact, deal with Hutts. Unless that Hutt was Rasho, who also happened to be dead.

The Herglic noted [member="Jacen Cavill"]'s stance as vitality crackled from the human in a raw surge of energy, anticipating a fight.

He waved a flipper in dismissal of Kryptus' biting remark. "I took Deasumnor to do what needed to be done. As for why I'm here, I came to recruit you... and give you a chance to regain your company. I happen to be on decent standing with the new owner, or was until he sold it again. Hauum. If you join the One Sith I am sure you will find many who will support your candidacy in reacquiring what's yours."
