Christian Slade
In Darkness I Thrive
Christian could feel his heart beating a little faster as she spoke to him, looking up at him with those beautiful green eyes she had. She then spoke to him about her staying with them until they could work out an agreement that would be mutually beneficial, which despite his restraint made him smile a smooth, but interested smile. "I like the sound of that.", he whispered down at her, his knees growing notably weak at the thought of certain... benefits, though he didn't show it and forced himself to keep standing straight as she pranced off down the hall.
Doubling over for a moment and taking a deep, silent breath, Christian found his way back to the bed and took a seat as he waited on her to return and pack up her things. As he sat there he tried to compose himself, knowing that he couldn't act like some love weakened young girl when he needed to be acting a bit more like a man. Still, he couldn't understand how it was she made him feel so weak, but he certainly didn't appreciate it, despite how much he liked it.
"Is there anything in particular that you were wanting to do today?", Christian asked the girl as he heard her coming back down the hallway, his golden eyes watching and waiting for her with a soft smile on his face.
