Same. I wouldn't be surprised if the Academy goes the route of LOTR and waits until after Episode IX to dump all their awards on Star Wars.

We can only hope. Although he's done the Jurassic World film, I feel like Episode IX may be Trevorrow's breakout film for direction. The man has a lot of latent talent in doing drama that isn't entirely too corny, and using comic effect without overdoing it. He just needs the right atmosphere... Who knows, Star Wars may be just that for him.

And so 'The Force Awakens' SWEPT the Oscar board lastnight with a total of 0 wins out of 5. Darn it.

Not even for Best Score or Best VFX. The Academy really doesn't like space very much!
