The Fox and The Hound (Vulpesen)

"Really? never much payed attention to my smell in this form. I hope its not too bad." He turned to look at her as she walked around him. It was odd to be inspected in such a way, but there were weirder practices in the galaxy. At least she wasn't like the Aiing-Tii, licking him just to communicate.

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

Nope. Smells natural. I like natural.
Neshoba stopped when she came to his right front leg, gently nudging his paw with her cold nose and she continued sniffing.
Big paws. Good for traction, and clawing.
[member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen let out a small laugh at her evaluation. "Also good for climbing. Veran foxes are capable of travelling through the trees." He sat down, his five tails waving behind him. "Though, you're form is fairly impressive as well. You managed to survive the Tarentatek for quite a bit before I ran in."

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

Lenta jumped off of Neshoba's back to sniff Vulpesen's paws as well. The white wolf looked up to meet the massive fox's eyes.
Thanks. I think there was something venomous in that creature's claws. When a toxin gets in my body, it makes me sleep it off. I found that out when I was little and decided to play with a spider in my room.
[member="Vulpesen"]

He rose a brow at her. "I'm big enough to shrug off most toxins. And I'm completely immune to Teradin toxins Still, its amazing that you have a way to just sleep off others." His middle tail flicked over the others. "So, anything else your kind can do?"

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

I'm not really sure, seeing as how I don't know what my kind is. Oh! Wait. I can do this...
Neshoba propped herself up on Vulpesen's leg so that she could stand on her hind legs. Her body started to shift into humanoid form, but stopped halfway. She still had pawed feet and a wolf's head, but her furry body looked more human. She looked up at him, able to stand on her own now. Lenta just stared at her, seriously confused.
[member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen tilted his head a bit, looking over the new form. It sparked memories, reminding him of days before he was a jedi. "You look like an amaran. Though, a very tall Amaran." He looked over the white fur. "So, you can be a human, a halfbreed, and a fll wolf. Any other surprise forms?"

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

I can look fully human, too. With no ears and tail. But that's it, as far as I know.
Neshoba looked down at Lenta, picking her up. Lenta was still a little confused by what she was looking at.
[member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen let out a small laugh and through Ace, projected the looks of shistaven, and amarans, proving that such a thing wasn't so strange. Simply that she could shift in and out of it. "Well, I feel like a full human would just be boring. I see those far too often."

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

Lenta seemed to be less perplexed after a few minutes. Apparently someone had communicated some sort of understanding to her. Neshoba gave Vulpesen another wolfy smile.
I think humans are very interesting. So much thinking, so much doing! No two are ever the same.
[member="Vulpesen"]

"I suppose that's right. But is that a human trait? For eighteen years,I thought I was a human... well, maybe fourteen. My younger years, I might have actually believed I was a bald Amaran, but that's beside the point. I've found that every species has its unique people. Though admittedly, the humans are generally seem a bit more ranged in their temperaments."

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

They may not look very interesting, to be truthful. But yes. They are a very diverse race. Leagues above most of the Hutts I've ever met, that's for sure.
Nesh growled with distaste as she thought this. They were always so... Slimy. And really greedy.
[member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen culdn't help but let out a small laugh. "True most hutts are fairly low on the list of morals. Though, I'm sure there are some who aren't so bad. Just don't ask me to try and name them all. Though, apparently one of the Republic's earliest and best grand chancellors was a hutt." As he finished talking, there was a howl near the edge of the dome. "Seems like we're running out of day light. You said you wanted to hang around the commune a bit?"

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

Neshoba nodded her wolfy head. Lenta barked, expressing a feeling similar to what a child experiences when they want to go to recess. Nesh set her down before shifting back into full Wolf Form, and then commenced to chasing her. The little red Ashlan was pretty fast!
[member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen couldn't help but laugh once more as he watched the wolves chase each other around. She certainly was an energetic one. It only made sense that she would bond with an ashlan that could match her. "Try not to wander out of the dome. Vornskr sometimes prowl around here. Especially with us inside of it."

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

What's a Vornskr?
Neshoba asked as she tried to catch Lenta underneath her paw. Lenta just barked and ran circles around her.
[member="Vulpesen"]

He went down to take a seat in the grass before lying on his back. "A vicious creature. Senses the force and attacks those who use it. Poisoned tails and dangerous temperaments. Some ashlans learn to bond with them, but its very rare. No doubt if a pack gets in here, we'll have some work on our hands. And if you get stuck out there alone, i don't know if your wolf form will be enough to stave them off.

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

Well. That didn't sound pleasant at all. Neshoba finally managed to pin Lenta underneath her paw. She playfully nuzzled the Ashlan's belly, making Lenta squirm and whimper.
Noted. No leaving the dome. Don't think I'm ready to die just yet.
[member="Vulpesen"]

He grinned over at her and flicked his tail,realizing suddenly that he was still in fox form. "Maybe I'll spend the night like this. Ask the Ashlans to move the Ysalimiri back again in the morning for me to shift back." He rolled over in the grass. "And in here, if they do breach we'll have plenty of warning and resources to hold them back."

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

Bet Ace'll be curling up in your tails sooner or later if you do that. They look pretty comfy.
Neshoba let Lenta crawl onto her snout. She sat up to see how long she could balance the little red wolf there.
