I dunno. Just tossin out the sub faction love. Make something involving them. Faction evens and the like. I ain't got the time to figure it all out, or I would have by now.

I voted major change and here is my unwanted suggestion. I say unwanted because no one will like it.
Go Minor. I want to see OS have a objective again and not be filled with a bunch of people dedicated to infighting and solely being in OS just because its the largest faction on board. The current activity is lacking and that is not surprising since the truth is OS is dying out. One Sith needs a jump start and switching to minor for a time can do that. Going minor will get rid of some members and only leave the ones dedicated here to help and maybe more writers will join up as well. Yea, the big red blob that is Sith space will be lost, but honestly id rather see that red blob go than see OS itself go away. With a new change we can gain it all back and more.
Just need to make a big solid decision.. Or not make one at all.
Eventually a change will happen.
Btw this is coming from someone who isnt that active as OS member but more so as IC opposition. If OS goes away all my stories and pvp is gonna get bland and boring. Writing with OS is fun mann.

Thoughts now i've been back a few days:
Reinforcing the left tendril which is still a bit dicey would be good.
Anything to bring the faction together would be good, some core faction threads.
Some internal organization stuff, bling for those doing the work (I can help with artwork if you are out of artists at present)
What does the OS have, what does it need, you own, have developed and reinforced a huge chunk of the map, can demonstrate that in threads that you run. Go BIG. There are so many sith installations, weapons, legions etc. I'll be back on legion development and tech presently for you guys, dusting off the old projects.

Yet, I think we all just really need to grab ourselves by the scruff of the neck, get out of our comfy chairs, and go make some great bloody stories. I also think that in order to accomplish this, we the members of this great red blob that is The One Sith must create activity from the bottom-up.
In the paraphrased words of Nobel Price Laureate of Literature 1993; Toni Morrison: If there is a story you want to read, and no one has written it yet. You must write it. Hell, if someone already has written it, give it your own spin. Sith are dreadfully repetitive anyway.
So go, fly my pretties! Make plans for the dominion of worlds, for the fall of the Jedi, and for your climb to the very top of the chain. Nothing is beyond your grasp.

What you're suggesting is like a Youtuber getting his channel shut down and then starting up a new one in hopes that everything will be restored. If we go minor, that's a big step with a lot of consequences, foreseen and otherwise.
The reason people choose to join our faction isn't just because we're the largest. New people join because WE ARE Sith. We are the evil force users and a lot of people like to play as such. Activity in doms and other such threads are lacking because of disinterest, but there are plenty of people still active; especially new people who want to get in on this site and play a Sith character.
