IMPERIAL + DIPLOMACY
RIMWARD TRADE LEAGUE

The New Hope Foundation was a relatively new non-profit, started up by Ariel Yvarro. Funding was provided by several anonymous donors as well as private equity funds. The idea was to help boost the Rimward Trade League's efforts throughout the Outer Rim. This evening's gala in Motti City was not only put on a show of what such wealth could do but to further invite investors to come and put their credits with the Rimward Trade League through the New Hope Foundation. An example of efforts would be the improved RTL presence within Kirdo, Andelm, and Karazak after having more or less dealt with the Eclipse for the time being. As luck would have it, Motti City was named for an Imperial and had held onto Imperial influences from Eriadu and indeed from when Sieger Ren's First Order ruled both the Unknown Regions and the Outer Rim with an iron fist. Thankfully, Motti City had become slightly less conservative and was truly living in what many considered the "Roaring Era" or perhaps a Golden Age as some were more than eager to call it. Whatever the case may be, Ariel was happy to have found like-minded companions, who were both happy to see the CIS gone and hoped that one day the Rimward Trade League might just look their way. The Crown Star Hotel happened to be part of GCG Crown Resorts a subsidiary of her family's company, thus making the decision to host the event here at the hotel that much easier. Ariel's goals tonight were not just to bring some much-needed investment and attention to the RTL's efforts, but to help them court outside corporations who may be interested in standardizing things like starfighters, weapons, starships, armor, and the like.
All the things that most centralized governments seem to take for granted, and such investments would be of great aid to the RTL and their hopes to keep the likes of the Maw, Sith, and Imperials away from the region. Ariel pulled a gorgeous, silk shawl over her shoulders as she departed the fanciful speeder and headed into the hotel. The Motti City press and varying news agencies had gathered, taking photographs, videos, and whatever other snapshots they could of guests as they arrived. Knowing that perhaps not all members of the RTL would crave such attention. Ariel arranged more private arrivals at the rear of the hotel, making sure staff would escort their esteemed guests straight into the gala. After all, tonight was a night of celebration, the war in the core had ended with a victory for those Alliance-loving friends and their allies, and the Rimward Trade League had just driven out slaver scum from their borders.
Ariel opened the evening's gala beyond the RTL and included friends in the Core. From the hotel's entry, the Dosuunian-raised Galidraani made her way toward the vestibule where many mingled and took champagne flutes from their hovering trays. From here there were a few choices, one could go straight into the ballroom to dance the night away, or there were places like the hotel's bar or perhaps the rooftop lounge that offered drinks and relaxation away from the noise of the electro-band. Then there were the hotel gardens that offered a more private and romantic getaway for those who desired it, and then there were the conference rooms for corporations and governments to make their deals. Not forgetting members of the Rimward Jedi Coalition, a special meditation room had been provided so that Force users could take a break and relax in area all their own. A Mephout, New Laveau Jazz Band had been hired on for the evening and as Ariel entered the ballroom they were doing a splendid job of creating a rather upbeat atmosphere that was sure to keep the party going.
