Private The Ghost and The Dragon

Arianna had a good apprentice. Determined, calculating, yet knowing when to rely on bursts of aggression.

Neither one of them really had a chance at fleeing, he realized as she managed to clothesline them both.

Nathan was knocked to the ground. Moya was out cold. Nathan listened to her demands as he rose, brushing himself off.

"I would no more lead you to the Jensaarai then you would lead me to those you defend..." Nathan said firmly. "But you have demonstrated skill. Cunning. Game must know when to recognize Game, after all..." Nathan trailed.

"I will offer you a deal, Student of Belasko...I'll not teach you teleportation. But I will offer something...useful..." he said.

"I know the art of Stasis...I will teach that to you, should you wish..." Nathan offered. "I may even be tempted to part with something...you might be interested in...but you must withdraw afterward. If you refuse...then we must fight to the death, for I will not submit as you wish. The Cult of The Brain Demon must die..." Nathan finished, trying to assess all his options for Draco Miles Draco Miles .

Nothing that went the route of violence ended well for either of them. Besides, he didn't sense Draco was evil per se, more determined, young, and prideful. No wonder Laertia had let her join that gaggle of freaks...

Slightly Paranoid Apprentice
He definitely seemed like a more reasonable man, though his counteroffer was certainly lack luster, and thankfully based on incorrect information. The offer to learn stasis though would've been very tempting if he had thrown the Jensaarai into the mix though, a shame.

'Those I defend?' she thought to herself as he spoke, realizing he probably thought she was there to kill them all. She exhaled a little, almost like a small chuckle, and waved her hands dismissively

"Ah, no, no, I'm not here to murder anyone, I'm here in order to collect a certain dark shrine, y'see? If I could do so without bloodshed, it'd be great! But as you obviously can see, I'm not exactly opposed to that option either. Considering the state you're currently in as well, you don't have much of a Pillar to stand and bargain on either. So, I will agree with you on that, you can either comply, or you can die, father of the matriarch. I hope you understand, but I cannot return home without completing my mission. It's extremely rude."

She spoke in a more formal accent to try and keep up this diplomatic meeting, wanting to show to her master that she wasn't all evil violent slashy stabby on everything, but can also be capable of kindness too. Hopefully Nathan Bloodscrawl Nathan Bloodscrawl saw these attempts and would be more willing to work with her in reaching a desired outcome for both parties, considering that what she had provided him as a worse possible outcome should he flat out deny her is capture and the complete annihilation of the nearby Jensaarai Temple.
