The Good News Is...

"Oh?" She sat back in her seat as she listened to him explain his situation to her. Anastasia may still be a little native however she figured he had been a criminal. It was a fact she was willing to deal and work with.

Before she went flaunting her past around she had done her homework on him. The main things she had been looking for was someone whom got results and was discrete. He seemed to fit the bill.
She shouldn't be surprised however she was a little that he had already been digging around for information on her. Ana couldn't help but wonder what he had found on her. "I'm curious, what did you find on me?"

It was nice that he was giving her a heads up on his status as a wanted man as it hasn't been expected. "Well, if they do show up they won't be too happy. I won't appreciate them trying to throw a wrench in our mission." Clearly she was still in this with him all the way. Honestly she trusted him more now that he hasn't tried to hide his shady past from her.

He looked away, embarrassed by the question. He had no qualms about invading peoples' privacy, the Chiss slicer just didn't like to get caught.

"Oh just some basic details, like your Holonet browsing history, names of a few associates. Stuff like that. There isn't that much out there about you, but I found enough to know that you weren't a Black Sun." He stopped, realizing he had just revealed the name of an enemy. He swiftly changed the subject.

"So Tython it is." He grinned. "When do we leave?"

Cryax wasn't sure why he felt so protective of the woman. It didn't make sense. She could clearly protect herself. Her magic was possibly more powerful than the limited physical strength he could bring to the table. He was lanky and muscular, but hardly combat-ready. Perhaps it was because the Chiss had very few friends and virtually no family. He trusted the woman, who had plainly been through the ringer, and felt like he could offer her some brotherly support where others preyed had her.

Anastasia wasn't too familiar with all of the various crime syndicates out there. This would actually be her first time working with a criminal. She was finding it quite pleasant. He seemed nice and more than willing to help her. She did want to have friends and connect with others. She trusted he would help her. Anastasia would still be cautious as was her nature.

"I just need to suit up and I'm ready to go if you are." She had been waiting for something to come up so that she could try out all her gadgets in the field. They all worked of course just this would be the first time in her armor but he didn't need to know that. She had it all under control after all she had tested it out.

It didn't really surprise her that he hadn't found anything on her. The fact that her captors had wiped her files gave her a fresh start. The information she would gather with him would be for her eyes only and his too since he was going to be getting it for her.

"Ready?" she questioned as she finished off the last bit of her cookie getting up from the table.

"I'm ready whenever you are Anastasia." He gave her a small mock-bow and smiled. "But I also don't have a ship." He chuckled. "Do you happen to know anyone we could hitch a ride with?"

"I can get us a ship. I have been using this beat up old thing until I can get something of my own. If you would follow me," she motioned to him as she headed out of the cafe and towards the nearby Spaceport.

Anastasia was a little surprised that he didn't have a ship but than again he may not need one. It was possible that he didn't go many places.

As they walked along the spaceport they came along many nice looking ships. Anastasia passed by all of them only to stop at a ship which looked like it could crumble at any second.

"I know it looks like crap but I promise it flies," she grinned as the ramp creaked its way down. "I figure we can plot on the way there?" She meant of course figure out how she was going to get him to where he needed to go.

Cryax smiled at Anastasia. "I'm pretty good with a navicomputer so I can definitely help you plot the course." He stopped, scratching his head. There was something he had forgotten. Oh right, the party.

"Before we head out though, there's one thing I need to do. I just remembered there's a party I need to go to tonight. My boss is throwing this shindig and I gotta make an appearance. Is it ok if I meet you here tomorrow? Same time?"

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

"That works out just fine. It gives me time to plan out how we are going to do this. I doubt guns a blazing is a good way. Anyway, go enjoy your party. I'll see you tomorrow." Information about her long dead parents could wait until tomorrow. He should definitely go enjoy his party least he make his employer angry.

She had never been to a party herself but had always wished to attend one. Putting on a fancy dress, dancing, it all sounded quite fun to her and probably helpful for her future. If she had been invited she would go just to mingle. Instead she would stay here make some dinner and plot their course for tomorrow.
