- Description: It is best described as a relatively older pirate group, formed sometime around 758 ABY as a roving group of slave-marauders. Over the years, it has grown, and after

seized control, it has since ballooned to its current size and power. The cohesion of these groups often varies - from the Shola and Slavedriver groups being well-disciplined, if thuggish, to varying disparate elements being more cowardly or prone to flight.
- Headquarters: The planet they operate out of and run an extensive slave market on is known as Shola, with their main headquarters and often more emphasized command center being the Slavedriver.
- Ports of Call: Pretty much anywhere for the roving bands of smaller Gore Krakens, with the main forces concentrated around the Slavedriver and Shola.
- Goals: Conduct slave trading operations, guard their interests, and to ensure that their profits are kept under firm control.
- Reputation: Best seen by many polities as unquestionably evil, the slavers of the Gore Krakens are rarely warmly received even by their allies in the criminal underbelly of the galaxy. As a consequence, the slavers of the Gore Krakens have contracts and bounties often issued for them, and just as frequently deal in the lucrative market of slavery extensively.

Varying groups will often consist of CR92s and CR-90s backed by at least one EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate, as well as bulk transports and freighters for slave convoys (these latter groups are meant to serve as civilian-like ships).
All come with variable groups of snubcraft and smaller freighters.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Formed sometime around 758 ABY as a reaving slaver group in league with illegal syndicates and slaver polities, the current history of the Gore Krakens has been variable. With Fyrago's rise to power, he took control of the Gore Krakens, and now manages them as a formidable force in their own right. They have conducted numerous incidents of slave-trading, and as such, are deemed illegal under the Yavin Convention as well as laws regarding the ban of slave-trading. Due to this, they are a very, very hostiel group, and best appreciated and approached with caution unless if you are league in them or working alongside them.
