The Grass is Always Greener

Tathra dropped the body as his thrusters lit up, launching him upward toward the railway. His body swung with his Mace as he attacked the first sniper, swiping his rifle from his hands and then thrusting the end of the Mace into the Mandalorian spotter, a small kinetic pulse combined with the thump of the weapon thrust him into the wall. Likely not killing but incapacitating. The second sniper managed another shot, it collected in a black score on his shoulder; barely grazing his skin.

Tathra turned and swung, the Mace's head crashed into his chest, throttling the man into and through the duracrete wall as his beskar closed in around his crushed body. Tathra leapt down from the railway as gunfire came from below. The charged plasma bolts pelted against his armour and thick hide like vibrant drops of collected rain.

The titan dropped down, immediately landing on one of the Mandalorians as he kicked out his foot, snapping the mans leg at his knee and pulling him down as Tathra's feet reached the ground. He thrust the edge of his mace into the closest Mandalorian, knocking him back into a stumble. The man under his foot succumbed to shock after moments of shrieking and writhing, Tathra turned his Mace using it to block the second's attack as he grasped the end firmly in his right hand, quickly bringing it to his chest as he swung the shaft of the Mace into second Mandalorian to his right, knocking him into a gas canister. The last reached for a grenade as he activated his jetpack.

Tathra dropped his Mace, he had no time for it now. The titan accessed the force directly,, accelerating his speed as he leapt a few metres in the blink of an eye. Catching the man's arm, grenade still in hand. The Mandalorian looked between both the frag in his hand and Tathra. He squirmed, punching at Tathra's massive gauntlet. He knew it was futile. Tathra slowly raised his free arm, activating the primer as the Mandalorian pulled and heaved, attempting to free himself in any way possible.

It was no use.

A second later and the frag exploded, obliterating the man's arm and half of his face. The sheer kinetic blast of the grenade caused a sort of pull and tug between Tathra's hold of his arm and the rest of him, ripping his body from the arm and sending his ruined body back a few meters.

Lori shut her eyes and calmed her breath. Seconds felt like minutes as beads of sweat began to form on her brow. She tried not to jump at the sounds that she heard in the distance. There were more explosions, though not as loud as the first one had been. It could be because of the distance, she wasn't sure.

Just who was [member="Tathra Khaeus"] and why did give her such a 'job' to do that could have killed people? Was he evil? Was he Sith? The answer could be both and neither at the same time. More than likely it was because of her size and innocence. Who would suspect a young one like her of being dangerous? No one would. They'd just see a silly girl.

Her eyes snapped open as she heard sounds nearby, causing her heart to leap to her throat. No doubt the people tracking her were trying to locate her.

And they did.

Two men jumped into the landspeeder; one in the front, and one in the back with her. "There's the little runt! Thought you could get away with it, eh?" He grabbed her by the throat and pulled her up.

Lori gripped the man's wrist as the other upfront hot-wired the landspeeder, taking them back towards the warehouse area. In her mind she went through her training, trying not to panic and instead think of ways out of this situation. She had to fight.

Straightening one of her hands, Lori brought it down in a karate-chop fashion at the crook of the man's elbow. Then she followed through with a swift kick to the groin. He let go of her neck, gasping for breath and doubling over in pain. She grabbed hold of his hair, holding his head in place as she brought her knee up quickly, breaking the man's nose.

The driver swerved the speeder as he turned to look, nearly running over those on the street. Lori took the blaster from the holster of the man in the back with her and then fired it in the right shoulder of the driver. Her intent wasn't to kill, just to incapacitate them enough so that she could escape.

And escape she did. Grabbing her backpack, she jumped out of the landspeeder, tumbling with the momentum. Once she was able to regain her bearings, Lori found herself weaving through the crowds to get herself back to the space port.
