The Graug Reforms: Securing Gratos (PM for non-faction members)

Jedi were not creatures of war. They were guardians of peace, protectors of the innocent, and keepers of knowledge. War was the last resort any Jedi should even consider taking. War destroyed families, and created scars that took centuries before they began to fade. It was one of, if not the greatest sins any single being could bring about.

This was not war. This was securing Gratos and making sure that the Graug could be uplifted from their chains. The Imperial Clan's majority had already agreed to allow the Republic to try for its reforms. Those who did not had challenged the reigning Warchief for control, and fallen accordingly against him and his fellows. None of the usurpers were killed--the Jedi Order was here to instill peace and cooperation, not murder and shows of strength.

Relief would soon be supplied to Gratos. Medical supplies, food, and water were all being shipped to the world. Soon, those Graug and their Glycon pets that resided on the world would feel the Republic's kindness. The only thing standing in the way of this peace, was a Pirate Warlord by the name of Trox.

The Pirate Clan had remained on one of Gratos's neighboring moons for quite some time. There were plans put in place to uplift them from their murderous ways as well, but first, Trox and his raiders had to be dealt with. Nothing could be done to help Gratos so long as they remained.

And so, the Imperial Clan's greatest warriors rode in on massive speeders toward the pirate holdings. The pirates operated out of an ancient plateau, providing them with easy transport to the space above. However, it also allowed for two directions of assault, and the Imperial Clan was keen on using this to their advantage.

Soon, the pirates here would bow to the Imperial Clan's might. They would be brought into the fold, taught the error of their ways, and eventually become citizens of the Republic. Graxin Rade, the current de facto ruler of the Imperial Clan and representative of the Jedi Order rode in one of the speeder buses at the front of the line.

Two other Graug stood within the massive vehicle, along with his Padawan, [member="Kaigann Fossk"]. "Do you think Trox will come quietly?" The smaller of the Graug, Shlurk, rumbled.

"No. While those within our clan understand the need for change, the Pirate clan will not be keen on changing their ways...this will be bloody." The larger and much older of the two, Tetry'kal, replied.

Graxin frowned at that. He had called for the assistance of any Jedi sympathetic toward the cause of uplifting the Graug for their assistance. Hopefully, some would arrive soon to help bring the Graug into a more peaceful state of mind.

He cast his gaze over toward his Padawan, a boy who was quickly becoming a source of pride for the Knight, and smiled confidently. "Let's try not to fall out when the doors close, Kaigann. The Graug might step on one of us. That wouldn't do for the sake of appearances, not at all."

He could remember not long ago arriving on Gratos for the first time in his life, the Graug were a strong people and with the Republic behind them the possibilities were endless. Their mission was just, their bodies ready for the trials ahead, and their hands steady. The Pirate Clan was nestled away in the plateau region in one of the more ancient areas, it was an old stronghold occupied by their target, the Pirate Warlord Trox.

Indeed the Jedi were not killers, hopefully the conflict that they were to engage in would not fall out of hand into full scale war, they were defenders not murderers and hopefully would be an example to the Graug as a whole. Kaigann sat in the back of the speeder bus, one of many, rushing to battle against the Pirate Clan in an effort to secure Gratos one step at a time. In front was his master Graxin, the current head of the Imperial Clan and Jedi Knight in charge of the Jedi intervention here on Gratos. To his right and left sat two other Graug ready for combat, one the elder Graug from the Palace named Tetry'kal, the other a smaller Graug whom he held little to no knowledge of. It would not be long before they would reach their destination, the stronghold of Trox.

Kaigann's eyes moved back and forth following the short conversation between the two Graug, he grinned noting the grim outlook Tetry'kal had on the battle ahead. The apprentice had not come to slay the Graug, that was not the way he had been taught on Coruscant and looking at the reaction in his master's face he had not approved either. His attention moved toward his master as he began to joke on their arrival. A sly smile appeared as he cut a quick look at his master, "I must agree master, I do not intend to become a Graug stomped pancake today. I believe I will do my best to avoid such a fate... so this Trox.. what will it take to make him surrender? Have you met this man before?"

"Trox is monstrous and wild. He's also a bit obese." Graxin quipped before either of the Graug could say anything. The speeder bus came to a quick halt, and the doors sprung open. Without hesitation, both Shlurk and Tetry'kal burst through the hatches, weapons raised.

The Knight offered his Padawan a small little smile. "Let the force guide your hand Kaigann. Allow it to take you, and I promise you, you will not fail." He stepped forward, and clamped a hand on the boy's shoulder. "I'm proud of you."

With that, he gave the boy's shoulder a tight squeeze, and whirled toward the door. He stepped out with confidence, black and gold blades humming for blood as he strode out into the destroyed jungle. Graug were fighting Graug everywhere. Blasters roared, blades clashed, and bodies fell in crumpled heaps.

A large two story facility had been built at the top of the facility, and a number of Graug on heavy cannons fired downward from the top. Graxin dropped into Soresu, batting the bolts away with the two blades. The weapons span in a beautiful display of color, knocking red, green, and blue bolts back at the attackers.

"Stay close! We'll storm the doors!"

[member="Kaigann Fossk"]

"Obese, monstrous, and wild. Sounds like a winner to me." The door sprang open as the speeder bus suddenly came to an abrupt halt. The two Graug inside leapt to life wasting no time as they left the vehicle for the inevitable onslaught at hand.

Kaigann turned to face his master as he offered parting advice before the coming battle, Graxin's hand found it's way to his shoulder offering a bit of pride to the young apprentice and a friendly smile. He was proud of Kaigann, it was good to finally be in someone's good graces, he would not let his master's trust be misplaced. Giving him a subtle nod and warm smile he swelled his chest and watched as his master leapt into battle with both his golden saber and the black blade of Darth Vulcanus. Exhaling he felt the warm air from the desolate jungle spiling inside the chamber, allowing himself only a moment to enjoy it's warmth before joining the battle in his master's footsteps.

Taking off into a dash he quickly followed behind Graxin as they made their approach toward's the Pirate Stronghold. Blaster bolts flew in every direction as Graug fought Graug at every turn, the sounds of blades crashing were drowned out in the onslaught of the heavy cannons and blaster fire as his master began batting away the colored flashes that approached. Leaping over a fallen dead tree he felt his body slow as something poked at him mentally, the Force would guide him as he leapt into a powerslide as two approaching Graug came from each side aiming to tear at each other with blades.

Kaigann narrowly slid between the two before catching himself with a near stumble, he stayed close as Graxin lead the charge. They would storm the doors before long.

A small cruised arrived over the planet, and from there, the Jedi Padawan Haytham Kaze deployed in his J-1 Interceptor and sped down through the atmosphere to the planet below. His purpose for being here was for a mission to bring the Graugs under control... Or to at least, integrate them properly into the Republic.

Information from the cruiser streamed over the console in front of him and it listed the information and coordinates of where there was combat. Based off of that, Haytham changed his course and began his swing around to the Pirate Stronghold, it was time to do what he had come here to do.

To help bring a race under control.

It would only be a few minutes until he got to the Stronghold...

And so the events had been put into motion. The Architects had been reluctant to use the Graug, even those of the ancient caste thought it to be a bold plan. Bold plans often ended in death, and were something that the vast majority of the Architects were strongly against.

Still, there were very few options. Violence was required to bring those necessary together, as violence would soon become their routine. For a few of them, it was already.

The Ge'hutuun fell out of hyperspace without any warning to the minimal Republic defense around the planet. The San-Hill Star Destroyer dwarfed the cruiser [member="Haytham Kaze"] had arrived on, but it gave no signs of hostility. Rather, it flew just onto the edge of the system, and dispatched a single shuttle. A shuttle so small and swift that even the most advanced defense system would have trouble stopping it.

From within the drop pod, the Monitor activated his relay call. The Ge'hutuun responded, as did the other ships under his sway. "Block the Republic's signals back to their fleet. Their superiors must not know we were here until we've been long gone."

Graxin had fallen into the familiar rhythym of battle. The force forwarned him of any threat that might come his way, as it always had. He and [member="Kaigann Fossk"] marched alongside Tetry'kal toward the gates. The Imperial Gruag found themselves running into a line of cannon fire; many of their warriors falling in steaming heaps into the damp soil.

Two enormous members of the Pirate Clan charged through flurry of laser fire to engage Shlurk. The Dark Side Adept simply activated his lightsaber staff and cleaved his opponents into small pieces. "I like the way they die." He roared with a savage grin. Tetry'kal fought alongside him, swinging a lightsaber whip with one hand, and firing volleys of suppressive fire from a recovered DC-17 with the others.

The majority of the pirates outside the gates had fallen, but there were still many, perhaps hundreds, waiting within the walls. Those Graug on top of the structure continued to cut down anyone not in cover.

That was when Graxin noticed the familiar Jedi Starfighter arcing toward the entrance. He cracked a small smile. "Looks like someone came for us." He quipped as he hurled a small boulder into the midriff of a cannoneer.

He took cover behind a small rock formation, and brought his comm unit up to his lips, and adjusted to the frequency [member="Haytham Kaze"] might have used. "This is Graxin Rade of the Jedi Order. Whoever is flying up there...it'd be lovely if you helped us clean the ceiling of that primary structure."

The Knight's arm fell away, and he doused his twin blades. Hesitantly, he poked his head out from the rock, and thrust a hand forward. He focused all his mental capacity on the gates, pushing down to the very cells that comprised the reinforced permacrete. Then, he began to wrench it apart.

Now wasn't exactly the best time to teach his Padawan the use of force combustion, but if he could understand it, then the help would certainly make this easier.

"Help me with this Kaigann." He snapped with a strained voice. "Reach out to the gate...follow the little trails the force leaves you...focus between the cells that create the structure, and rip them apart. We're going to topple their defenses."

Rexus was not a Jedi, he wasn't even much of a knight anymore. The fallen inquisitor had heard of the opportunity to help out in the revival of Gratos and he wasn't doing anything special. Pulling into the battle in the panther class yacht he had bought with his life savings Rexus jumped down into what seemed like a not so friendly situation. Rexus wasn't particularly a fan of the Jedi but they were certainly better than the sith to an extent. Once on the ground Rexus looked over the battle and ran a hair through his messy dreads. "Alright then." Casually walking through the battle Rexus reached into his pocket to grab a cigarette, placing it in his mouth he grabbed his saber and clutched it tight.

With a snap hiss the silver blade of the imperial knights light his cigarette as a blaster bolt flew past his face. "Savages." He said while taking a long drag of his cig. Drawing the saber to his side Rexus ran forward past Graxin in a blur of silver light and a cherry red burn of the cigarette. Coming to the first Graug Rexus cut the beast clean in half through the hips. The beast quickly toppled and died. Reaching his hand out Rexus ensnared three Graug with the force exerting mind control over them through his mentalism.

The Graug slowly grabbed their pistols aiming them to their own heads and firing. "Who called for help!?" Rexus said outloud hoping to get a response from anybody whilst he deflected a bolt from a blaster with his own saber. The lanky average height an wore casual civilian clothes and did not look as if he belonged here.

Just moments ago the padawan was nearly sandwiched by two Graug on a collision course with each other, now he found himself close to the gates near the two Graug companions from the palace.

Tetry'kal and Shlurk. The massive Graug warriors hailing from the Imperial Clan, the elder Tetry'kal and the other splitting his opponent into pieces Shulurk. Kaigann witnessed the brutality of the Graug before him, the savage warriors were skilled in combat tearing each other limp from limp. The battle had only begun not long after their arrival and yet they had reached the stronghold of the Pirate Clan quickly with the Imperial Clan moving forward a with momentum the Pirate Clan had trouble matching. So it seemed.

Racing to the small rock formation alongside his master he hid out of sight of the enemy gunners before Graxin lunged a small boulder into a cannoneer. Kaigann revealed a slight smile impressed, he had never been in live combat aside from here, now on this very planet and it wouldn't be long before he would fight. Soaring in the skies above the battle came forth a Republic starfighter, the apprentice nodded, help had came after all.

He snapped back into the battle as Graxin began tearing at the gates, requesting his aid the apprentice moved to aid his master listening with an open mind for whatever he was about to do. "Reach out to the gate...follow the little trails the force leaves you...focus between the cells that create the structure, and rip them apart. We're going to topple their defenses." Stretching out his hands the apprentice followed his master's instructions as he closed his eyes opening himself to the Force. Starting as trickles in the dark, he followed the small trails through the Force, focused like his master asked him too.

An explosion sounded off by him distracting him, breaking his concentration. 'Come on! Get back into it.' Kaigann pressed his hands back forward reaching out stronger than before this time with all his mental might pushing on the cells of the gates.

"Now this is quite unexpected...."

The LAAT/D dropped from hyper space and into a system that, for the oldman piloting the ship, was something only before seen in documentary holovids. The system's burning sun shredded through the tint of the gunship's windshield, forcing Corvinus to squint even after the darkness of the glass had been adjusted for the intense light. The planet ahead hung in the void of space. A lush green landscape flourished over the surface of the planet, once upon a time it covered the entire surface. Not any longer. Now, scars cut deep through jungles of the planet. Where there used to be whole cites and jungles bustling with life in Corvinus's vids, there were now only vast deserts of barren and irradiated wasteland. The wound ran deeper than just physical appearance, however. It cut through the very fabrics of the planets' force presence.

Corvinus starred at the planet for a moment, watching as his HUD flashed the name of the planet in his face. Gratos. "This is the limit of the Republic's mercy, I see." Corvinus mused as he jabbed a button on his flight console, turning-off the HUD display's obnoxious message. "No doubt the Jedi played part in this, wouldn't you say Sid?" the old man turned his head to the back of the craft. A disabled MAT droid glared silently back at him. It was an unintentional theft from the CIS after their infighting began, all Corvinus wanted to take was a ship to see him off. It was an unfortunate circumstance for his old friends that their droid had not been off-loaded from the ship beforehand, but it had done well in providing Corvinus with at least something to talk to. Sid made a terrible debate partner though.

"Surly they were not responsible for my being brought here?" Corvinus continued to muse as his ship guided itself closer to the planet. He had been on his way to Fondor, far away from the Gratos system, but the ship had taken on a mind of its own. Corvinus had tried everything he could to stop it, but it didn't help him keep the vessel from propelling itself into hyperspace. It could have just been a hyperdrive malfunction, but he found that unlikely. No, someone had brought him here for a reason. What for was the first question he needed to answer.

The old man quietly thought to himself as the ship dropped into the atmosphere of Gratos, without his having taken control. The HUD flashed several warning about the atmosphere as the ship dove further into the fray, the planet was ridden with toxins and disease. You were likely to survive your stay on Gratos, but the plagues that came back with you were sure to overcome you. For now he was safe, so he would wait and see where this journey would take him.

"More of you vermin come to take what we have claimed!" A voice like that of a vultures screech rang out over the battlefield, a screech far more beastly than could possibly come from a sentient male. From the smoke veiling the battlefield came a striding figure, his hand gripping a long staff with a pointed end. It shimmered with a kind of power almost only reserved for lightsabers, but this appeared to be nothing more than a solid piece of metal pipe with two pointed crowns on either end. "Your Jedi weapons are priceless on the blackmarket, I shall strip them from your dead bodies." the voice taunted, the silhouette of its owner becoming clearer as it moved through the winding smoke.

The sheer height of the creature was becoming more apparent as he strode closer. First five feet, then six and then seven. Where most Graug were bulky and powerful, this figure was lean and swift. His were arms long enough to grip a man across the battlefield and his mouth was rowed with razors sharp enough to cut through bone. A durasteel mask hid his snout and deathly sharp spines lined from the crown of his head and down the length of his back. Stopping a few meters short of Kaigann, the Graug Dread Father and leader of the Lost Clan of Graug Pirates, spun his spear in hand.

"I've never tasted a force using human before" slime drooled from his open mouth as stared down at the boy. Then, with but a split-seconds warning, the Graug gripped the staff he held in hand and lunged toward the apprentice. It was clear now what the spear was. It was a weapon utilized by the guards of Palpatine's Empire; a force pike and its deadly end was aimed straight for the mid-rift of the apprentice.

"That would be me." Graxin quipped toward the Imperial Knight as the gate wrenched outward. Permacrete bent and groaned as its makeup at a cellular level was violently torn apart. The massive gate gave one final metallic groan under the intense pressure of both his and Kaigann's assault, and exploded outward.

Rubble and metal shaving fell over the pirates inside. Some were seared from the sudden expulsion of energy, others pressed on through the gap to mow down the Imperials. Graxin readied to charge through the hole, when his quarry made itself known.

@Trox was everything the Knight thought he would be and more. Force Pikes were weapons Graxin knew woefully little about, and if the Graug fought correctly, it could turn the tide of the ground assault. The Imperials would lose their traction, and then be routed by the pirates. Graxin could not allow that.

"My name is Graxin Rade. I'm with the Jedi Order. Keep up the pressure on the Graug while my Padawan and I deal with this upstart." He yelled over the thunder of assault cannons. It was rather clear what he wanted [member="Rexus Drath"] to do: take the pirate stronghold.

The Knight whirled on [member="Kaigann Fossk"] and his opponent. He was confident in his Padawan's abilities, but against a trained Graug...Graxin tore across the field, dodging those errant pirates that got in his way as he raised his blades: the golden one first, then the black blade to show his superiority over Darth Vulcanus.

"A bit rude not to invite me, don't you think?" He shot at the Dread Father as he closed in, readying his blades to sweep from the Graug's right shoulder down to his left hip.

Of course, there was some distance, and Graxin might not arrive at all. Either way, his Padawan would have to fend off the Graug for a time before he actually arrived.

Riley King was a former OP soldier with a minor grudge against the ASA, and she'd had more than a few upgrades since that conflict. She knew a lot of things about fighting, not much about anything else, and she was all too happy to be heading back into potentially dangerous territory. The Architects were brilliant, but Riley was nowhere near their level and what talk she did understand usually made no sense to her whatsoever. Give her an objective, she would do it. And now she had one.

Protect the Monitor.

[member="Monitor"]

The Force was their ally, it guided them in their struggle, with such a powerful ally they could not fail, they would not falter. The final push of energy exerted by both master and apprentice led to a dramatic explosion of metal and rubble as the gate was destroyed by the Jedi duo. Scrap and debris scattered outward as the gate was devastated by the power of the Force. The crumbled gate revealed the occupants inside as some charged to met the Imperial offense, it was then that the leader of the enemy movement revealed himself.

Stepping forth from the ashes and smoke that littered the scene came the Pirate Warlord himself. Trox, seven foot tall, lean and monstrous in form. His approach had taken Kaigann by surprise offering only a sarcastic remark to note the arrival of such an enemy.

"Obese huh?"

The monster stopped but a few short meters of Kaigann before stating his appetite for a force sensitive human. With a sudden grip of his Force Pike he aimed to assault the midsection of Kaigann. His eyes widened as he leapt to life with a sudden somersault to his right and hiss from his now activated lightsaber. The blue hilted blade fluttered in the air as the apprentice rose and readied himself into a Soresu stance. He remembered his training, he would need it if he was to survive the creature's onslaught.

Pacing around in a deadly circle with his combatant the apprentice waited for Trox to make his move. The apprentice caught a glimpse of the slime seeping from his mouth and his razor sharp rows of teeth, he responded with a facade to hide his reaction to the beast's startling features.

"..and I've never met someone with breath worse than a Bantha's!"

"Twelve." The Monitor chirped as their tiny shuttle broke through the atmosphere. "We will exfill into the Graug facility. You will execute all within not aligned with the Jedi." The elder Architects turned its robotic head toward his creation. "Do you understand?"

The majority of the Archiects never addressed the Dreadguard by their birth names. The Monitor least of all. It was no sign of disrespect, the Dreadguard were held in high regard by most of the Architects for their tenacity, it was rather the opposite. By addressing them by their numbers, they acknowledged what the DG-Mark-II's had become, and the new lives they had made for themselves. It was an indication of immense respect.

The shuttle came down like appeared toward the planet's surface. Beneath its engines, a massive drill came through a gap in the plating. The drill began to slightly spin as they approached the Graug facility. "They are what we have come for. The Council has convened. It is time that we brought our visions into fruition." Warning light began to flash across the vessel's interior, but the Monitor paid them no mind.

"Don't you think?"

Then, the shuttle collided with the roof of the Graug's facility. It drilled straight through the ceiling, fell down a level, and sunk deep into the catacombs below. The shuttle finally came still in the center of a slave chamber, and the slavemasters within all turned their weapons on it, eager to keep their prizes safe.

"Now, twelve, be a dear and clear this room for me."

The door to the shuttle hissed open.

[member="Riley King"]

Riley's head turned slightly to regard the Monitor better. "Slaves too, Monitor?" She asked. No incredulity - although there was a little left in her head, there was none in her voice - simply a wish for clarity.

Riley King was gone, Twelve had come out to play. The nanosecond the doors were wide enough to admit the large, armor-clad warrior, Twelve was out, plowing into the closest pair of slavemasters - two males, a Twi'lek what irony, and a Devaronian - shoving them to the floor and dispatching them by stepping on their skulls. Not terribly elegant, but it was efficient and that was what mattered.

By now the other slavemasters had started firing, but Riley had them beat there too - a few shots from the ridiculously awesome-looking assault rifle lookin...rifle she had with her and another four slavemasters were dead on account of having most of their heads missing. Another thirty seconds and the remaining slavemasters that had taken cover were gone as well. And, if the Monitor wanted the slaves dead as well, Twelve would take care of that. If not, she'd leave them where they were. Unless they pissed her off, in which case there was a good chance she'd start taking potshots.

"Done, Monitor."

The Jedi Padawan's starfighter opened fire upon the designated target, tearing apart the roof with the laser cannon fire and he spiraled up and away from his strafing run. He was going to go in for another run, then the roof exploded outward and the J-1 Interceptor veered off one hundred meters away under the cover of trees and landed just as the cockpit was popped open.

Unknowingly to him, contact with the Fleet was blocked, but he hadn't checked anyway and he closed the cockpit and made his way towards the Pirate Stronghold. If he understood correctly the Imperial Graug Clan were the ones that were fighting with the Jedi Knight who was leading this operation. The battle sounded quite fierce as he neared, running as fast as his muscular legs could take him. His Jedi training was definitely something that was helping with his physical form, and he knew he was running faster than he would've been two-4 months ago.

Removing the blaster pistol that was strapped to the small of his back, he soon saw the Pirate Stronghold and the sounds of combat and the war machines were deafening. He could barely hear himself, and he wondered as to how people fought in such a ruckus.

"So, this is war."

There was a moment of awe and a want to take part, and then he was on the move again.

He saw lightsabers flashing just past the threshold, and he knew that he had found the Jedi he was looking for.

The beast could do nothing but watch as the apprentice danced around his strike, so he was a fast one aye? No matter, Trox would see his bones ground to dust no matter how far or how fast he could run. The Graug pirate spun, his foot kicking up a small cyclone of irradiated dust from the ground as he spun on heel to strike again. Tossing the spear gently into the air, the beast grabbed the bottom of one end as he came about to face Kaigann again; this allowed him the extra reach he needed.

The tip of the force pike was aimed, not to decapitate the boy, rather to lacerate his throat just enough to cause severe bleeding and chance of death. Whether it was close enough to cut his airway was another matter. As he completed his strike against the apprentice, he turned once more and saw his master charging straight for him. There was no time for a complete dodge, the man was already too close now. The blade came in from an angle, aimed to bisect Trox diagonally down the middle. Using his speed to his advantage, he lunged backward just enough to keep the blow from being fatal. Still, saber carved a searing wound deep into the pirate's upper chest.

There was a scream of pain and the beast tripped over his own feet, stumbling backwards as his flesh steamed. Blood drained down his chest and he could feel the pain in his arm when he moved it, but he was still operational for now. Without a word, the beast regained a strong stance and jutted his spear out in front of him to try and keep the distance as he retreated slowly; his eyes looking for the time to strike.

Kaigann received no reply to his taunt from his vicious foe, he circled his enemy watching intently for Trox's next move. Luckily the Graug had not seen through his façade, the vicious monster before him had intimidated the padawan for he had never dealt with anything like this. His heart raced as the savage beast rose his Force Pike into the air before sending it crashing downward toward the apprentice. He could almost see it happen in slow motion yet he was frozen in place, frozen in his Soresu stance until the spear approached his throat. Then, only then had his body responded to his commands.

With both hands gripping the lightsaber the padawan rose his own weapon to counter the spear of the warrior pirate Trox. Despite his successful save from laceration he could not stop the momentum of the warrior from overwhelming him, the Force Pike knicked into his shoulder ripping open his first wound ever on the battlefield. He lunged back quickly gripping his shoulder with his freehand, the sight of his own blood scarring the mind of the Jedi. Kaigann had no words to say, nothing to express the horrors of gazing at his own blood despite the minor size of the wound.

Gazing upward at his master arriving just in time to fight the Graug Pirate a sense of hate swelled inside the boy for the Pirate as his master struck at the beast. The saber cut into the foe's upper chest leaving a deep searing wound and scream of pain from his lips. Trox held his spear outward as he attempted to retreat from the Jedi, slowly moving back from the skilled Jedi Knight's approach. He couldn't, he wouldn't let this mongrel get away. Kaigann ran at a diagonal angle before leaping toward the Graug with a sudden downward thrust attempting totake him by surprise.

Rexus took a long drag from his cigarette and exhaled as he marched through into the compound silver blade clenched firmly in his hand. As he walked the knight swatted back and deflected red bolts from blasters. Charging forward he ducked and weaved through a few Graug cutting them down as he passed. Reaching a more open area Rexus gazed upon a new threat that he began to count and size up. Fifteen Graug all armed to the teeth with lancers and various blades. This was going to be a challenge, a fun challenge bit a challenge non the less.

The first Graug came at him with the curved blade of a sword, Rexus bobbed to the left and with a jab forward he impaled the beast on the silver blade of his saber. "Eat a dick!" Rexus spat out a curse and drive the blade upward and out of the beasts shoulder blade. Fourteen. The body fell to the ground and Rexus had to keep moving. The next two Graug approached him with more blades in the same manner as the last. Rather than letting the two have the first strike Rexus reached out his gloved hand tapped into the force. With an effort of will the two bladed Graug impaled one another and toppled to the floor in heaps of agony and screams. Twelve. Another pair of Graug gave out bellows of war chants bearing fangs and blasters this time. Know your target and what lays beyond it. Peering back Rex could see the last ten Graug all loading their blasters getting ready to open fire on him once these two succeeded or went down.

This was going to be a tricky play. Rexus sprinted forward as fast as he could catching the two by surprise. Rearing his fist back Rexus slammed it into the face of the first Graug. Cortosis metal meeting flesh and bone, the face if the Graug sunk and a crack of death rang out when the Graug flew back and died. Eleven. Rexus looked at the second Graug and wasted no time in his actions. The Graug lifted the lancer up the chainsaw roaring in metallic fury. Rex responded by ramming his blade through the throat of the Graug instantly killing him. But he didn't stop there, quickly removing the blade he sliced the hands of the Graug off sending the rifle in a free fall towards the ground.

Catching the rifle by the pistol grip Rexus winced lifting the rifle with one hand. Ten. The Graug that stood before him in a firing line aimed their weapons at him with amateur stances, though they were no better than the aged knight. In one hand held his saber and in his extended arm he wielded the heavy rifle like a pistol. Rexus' face turned deadly serious when the crosshairs leveled on the first Graug. Pulling the trigger Rexus opened fire at the firing line in a sweeping motion from left to right gunning down all ten Graug in his path, his arm shaking with furious recoil from the rifle. But at that range it didn't matter, the Graug dropped and died smoke emanating from their bodies. Swiftly dropping the rifle Rexus took a long drag on his smoke and exhaled the black smoke from his lungs. "OKAY! People are dead!!" He yelled to the Jedi knight [member="Graxin Rade"]
