The gray choice

Star had given it thought like a proper master would with a apprentice... The decision to finally let [member="Gray Raxis"] choose her saber crystal...or well have the crystals choose him


She sat on her lawn mediating...several crystals sat I'm front of her that were several colors...the most common type available on the market

She now waited for gray to arrive from town from gather some stuff

Gray had to go out to get some supplies for Star. She needed some food, some drinks, and other more common things. She also needed some less common items like droid parts, building materials, and metal poles. He wasn't sure why she needed the poles, but he had gotten them as she asked. He had used his ship to gather up everything and had Key land him near her cottage on Naboo in the landing area there. He got out of the ship as the ramp dropped. His cargo hold had everything she needed in it. They were set up with hover pads so all he had to do was activate them and he could push them to where they needed to go. He did just that until everything was out of his ship and just outside of her house. He got the one with the food and drink last and took it into her kitchen.

Gray came from the kitchen to the dining area after he had the crate deposited. He walked up to Star and said, " I took care of everything Star. I can unload the crates once you let me know where you want everything." He looked at the table and saw all of the crystals upon it. He raised a brow and said, " What is with the gems on the table? Trying to figure out which one if the beautiful? I can help you with that. The most beautiful gem here is you Star. You are the most beautiful thing here." He winked at her as he smiled.

She smiled hearing his ship land and smiled as he entered

Gray smirked at Star as she mentioned his cheesy lines. He walked over to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. When she continued on about the crystals, he raised his brow. He looked at her and said, " Choose a crystal? You mean you want me to make a lightsaber of my own? Are you sure? I haven't been training that long. I do work on things every day, but are you sure? I'm not doubting you Star because you are the most beautiful force master ever. I am doubting myself on this."

Gray kissed her cheek again as he smiled at her. He had started to go out with Star recently. She was the admiral of the company he worked for and was his master in the ways of the force. She was so many great things and he couldn't help but admire her.

Gray smiled as she rubbed his cheek. He wasn't sure if she was right about his swordsmanship, but he was glad she thought so much of him. He went over to the table and did as she asked. He sat across from her and looked at her. He found himself studying her face again like he always seemed to do. She was beautiful, very beautiful. He didn't know if everyone agreed with him, but as far as he was concerned she was the more beautiful woman in the galaxy. He said after a bit of looking her over, " So what do I do now beautiful? Stare into your lovely eyes and try to discover the depths of your love?"

She smiled and laughed "well dear" she said as moved her hand I've rthe crystals as they glow "giu see how the crystals reacted to me? I could use all of these crystals because they choose me" she said and smiled"now you do it

Gray watched Star wave her hand over the crystals. They all began to glow as she did. He was amazed by that. He had no idea that something like this was possible. He leaned forward and studied the crystals. He said as he looked them over, " So I just run my hand over them? Is that all I have to do or is there something else more?" He had to say he liked the idea of having his own sword after their training session. He had really taken a liking to the ones he had used second there. Something about it just felt right, and he might get to experience that feeling again.

She smiled seeing him with the look of amazement in his face as she lowered her hands away"focus on the force and feel which crystal calls to you"she said and smiled.

Gray heard Star and said, " Alright beautiful. I'll give it a try." He focused on the force as he was instructed to do. He was still new to the whole process so it took him a moment before he felt he was ready to move his hands over the crystals. As he did he could feel the force reacting with the crystals. It was as if his hand was moving across their surfaces, even though it hovered over them by several inches. They all felt.... cold. It was if the crystals were just standing still and sleeping away. His hand passed over the last of the crystals with no reasons from them.

Gray frowned as he looked at them. He looked up to Star and said, " I did it right didn't I? They didn't do anything, so I had to do something wrong right?"

She watched intently and frowned after he passed....why had it not worked...had these crystal not decided to choose him?x

She looked up at him and smiled lightly "either these are stubborn or your crystal is out there off planet

Gray looked at Star as she spoke. He could tell she wasn't as pleased as he was. He said, " Off planet? How would we be able to find it?" He sat there for a moment before he added, " Let me try again. Maybe they are stubborn." He repeated what he had done earlier. He focused on the force and then waved his hand over the crystals. He felt the exact same sensation he had earlier. None of them reacted just like before.

Gray sighed and leaned back in his chair. He said, " So what do we do now beautiful?"

Well lothal has some that we can look for actually I know a cave"she said and watched him again and smiled, he kept trying and she liked that

Gray smiled at Star. He said, " Alright then Beautiful, off to Lothal with us. What all will we need? And should we take my ship or your ship?" He got up and stretched. He liked the idea of having a lightsaber, but he didn't know how things would go. Would a crystal even choose him? He would just have to find out it seems. He found himself looking at Star as he thought. He didn't know why, but she was always in his sight and he had to make himself look away from her.

She rubbed her chin as she stood before smiling... She had been in a place in a job and had marked the location...mainly because of the crystals there...the higr amount of crystals in the single cave system alone rivaled her storage

Won't need much a laser cutter mostly because these crystals will be freshly cut"she said smiling big"and you will find one that calls to you...when you least expect it"she said and started dout the door"and we'll take mine since its not full of cargo have key transfer to there

Gray listened to Star as he continued to stretch. He smiled to her after and said, " Trying to get me into your ship so you can have your way with me eh? Alright, so Lothal it is. I'll just go to my ship and grab some stuff. Meet you on your ship after?" He waited for her to answer before he went to get his stuff off of his ship. He staid dressed in his casual clothes, but got his bryar pistol strapped to his right leg. He got his duster on as well and began to leave. As he did he stopped, he remembered something and grabbed another item before heading out with his droid Key.

Gray got on Star's ship and smiled as he looked at Star. He said, " I'm ready to go Beautiful when you are. Let's go get me a pretty, pretty gem." He hadn't ever been on her ship before so he didn't know his way around.

She smiled and smiled"I could have my way with you right here if I wanted"she said winking and started walking over to her ship"yea I'll be on the bridge "she called out with a laugh

She smiled and spoke over the com" font worry key should be able to lead you around my ship"

Gray hit the com system and said, " Thanks Beautiful. You always know what I'm thinking. You really are a mind reader after all." He winked and then followed his little droid up to the bridge of the ship. He wanted to look around as he went, but Key was moving fast. She was happy to be on a new ship and about to get to chat with someone other than her owner for once. He kept pace and found himself on the bridge before long.

Gray watched Key dart over to Star's droid and they began to chat up a storm. He just smiled and shook his head as he walked over to Star. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and said, " Alright, time to get this show on the road." He smirked as he added, " May the brightest Star in the sky lead me safely to where I need to go."

Star smiled as she waited as r8 prepped the ship and turned controls over to her as her head lit up with symbols and altitude


R8 turned to key and started chatting back most often he didn't talk to other droids expect her training droid who was very...quiet type


She smiled feeling his kisss and grinned"onwards to the first star on the left "she said and took off with ease as the ship got into space and darted into hyoer space to lothal

Gray got himself sat down in the co-pilot seat next to Star. He smiled at her, but made no attempt to touch any of the controls. He did not have a good track record with ships. He had crashed his first ship so badly that it was no longer usable and then had almost wrecked his current ship on Dagaboh when he met Star. He was so bad his droid wouldn't let him do anything other than put in coordinates into the nav computer. That was probably the only part of flying he was good at.

Gray waited for them to be in hyperspace before he finally turned to Star. He said with a smile, " So what should I expect on Lothal Beautiful? I have learned that nothing is simple when it comes to the force or things related to the force. Will we deal with some kind of giant sentient statue or talking ball of yarn?" He reached over and put his hand on her shoulder as he spoke. When he finished he squeezed it and then leaned over to kiss her on the cheek.
