Description: The Haka is a modified AT-120 medium freighter. Lightly armed and mounting unimpressive defenses, it's not a combat ship. It is, however, a good bit quicker than stock, and boasts a solid assortment of non-combative attachments that might be of benefit to an enterprising spacer. Cap drains provide good resistance to system strain from ion cannon fire, a solid fuel/ration converter allows the Haka to operate independently far beyond its supply capacity, a crybaby decoy and false telesponder array let it evade hostile attention, and a high-stability chaff/flare dispenser helps it survive warhead attacks. Its numerous autoturrets help it keep the surrounding area clear of small craft, missiles, hostile animals, and boarding attempts. It's still got quite a bit of cargo capacity despite the modifications (~220 tons). Its navicomputer helps it chart efficient courses and save fuel, as well as make emergency jumps easily. It's a versatile boat with good odds of survival; it's just not about to win any awards for combat or aesthetics.
