DESCRIPTION
The Heckler's Veto is Mara Merrill's vessel of choice for getting cargoes past blockades. She typically uses it for smuggling, drone kiting, and just plain crossing star systems quickly. It's an unorthodox ship, pretty fragile against many things, and totally unarmed apart from its droid fighters, but it does the job. Typical cargoes include MVSE starship parts and the raw material that will become MVSE starship parts. To that end, the Veto's modular cargo bay can wrangle over two hundred tons of cargo without breaking a sweat.
Mara picked this ship up thirdhand on Terminus with the serial numbers filed off. It's a quirky boat: rust and component mismatch are constant challenges during downtime. It's a bit of a junker, far easier to ignore than its predecessor, and far less suited for direct combat. It's great at running away and leaving its crappy droid swarms behind. It is, however, beautiful.
