The hunt for Tracyn Ordo

Vulpesen watched @[member="Tracyn Ordo"]'s actions and found himself moving into a slightly steadier stance. His eyes glanced to the others. A part of him wanted to leave Tracyn as he wished, after all, this was his home and he was allowed to leave the order. However, Tracyn had fallen to darkness and it was their job to make sure that the force was balanced, even if it did mean fighting a friend. "And again I ask you to reconsider. I do not wish to fight you Tracyn, but we cannot allow you to wallow in this darkness."

@[member="Vulpesen"] @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] @Sarah Drast

Every single Jedi was entitled to his decision, and they could come and go as they pleased... however, turning to the darkside was another matter... especially since it affected those around him and corrupted the sentients to the point where they would lose their identity... something that would happen to Tracyn soon enough... seeing the circumstances.

Vexander just looked at Tracyn, he didn't have to feel the Force to know that he had more distrust and disgust for Vex than any other of the Knights right there... and honestly, he didn't care what he thought about him, but he did care about his alligment and his well-being.

Remaining silent, the corellian Knight waited for the Mandalorian's reply... or move... but without hostility nor aggresion.

"And what if we didn't come whole?" Saran spoke, standing back. For in a way, she never was whole. Her mind lingered on her losses, her failures, and her problems. Whole? No. She wouldn't leave whole. She hadn't come whole. She was no diplomat, no talker, but they needed to avoid a fight if at all possible. This was someone who would kill them without a second thought. @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] was powerful. And as Saran studied him, easily protected from them. Beskar. Why did it have to be Beskar? She scanned the area for anything that may be an advantage. Nothing. His helmet was off, but he could put it on easily. And.even then, one area was easy to defend. If it had to come down to it, this would be far from an even fight.

Tracyn stared between the three of them. He came to the conclusion that they were not in the business of leaving him alone. They were instructed to bring him in, willingly or not. Fingers curled. Feet spread. His strong knee bent forward, while his weak knee went backwards and took a strong stance. He drew his lightsaber to his hand, and then removed the Beskad on his back. He twirled the two handles, and activated the blade on his lightsaber. A gentle wind rustled the nearby wheat. He stared at the trio, before leaning forward. His neck strained, with another scream. Since he fell to the dark side, it was a common trait of Tracyn to scream. Except, this was more potent. It was directed less so around them and as a warning, but it was now a full-fledged announcement of an impending assault.

His first hand went up, fingers wrapped around the beskad. He stepped inbetween Vulpesen and Vexander, and his Beskad went for Vulpesen's stomach in a stab, he brought his lightsaber across his own chest, then flung it outwards, looking to do a brutal slash across Vexander's chest. He didn't disregard Saran, he just seemed to take on the two stronger opponents first, then deal with her. The surprise and speed alone would count for a lot from the fallen Jedi, he didn't expect much more than a feeble dodge than a counter-attack. These Jedi would not be leaving here, not intact. Not whole.

"If you did not come whole, YOU WILL GO IN PIECES!"

A hate-filled voice of Tracyn bellowed. They had pushed him to the limit. He told them to leave. He just wanted solitude, he wanted to be left alone. The Jedi couldn't allow that. They were too filled with pride. All Tracyn wanted to do was be alone, alone with his sorrow and himself. Maybe he could have found peace, maybe. Maybe he could have reconciled with Cassus. None of that was an option now. The Jedi before him, had done him in. They pushed him too far.

If it was the demon they were after, then it was a demon that they would get.

Vulpesen growled and called his saber into his hands, activating both sides, using one to deflect the stab to the side while the other blade followed up to sweep @[member="Tracyn Ordo"]'s legs from under him, beskar or no beskar. "Please Tracyn! Don't do this!" His voice was filled with hurt. This was not a matter of pride. this was saving a brother from a dark path which managed to take even the best of people and twist them into something unrecognizable. Vulpesen realized the power of the darkside and it was for that reason that he fought to bring Tracyn back.

Last time the young man felt as Force scream this close was from Eldoc Quasat... a Dark Jedi who was deeply immersed in the darkside... at that very moment Vex noticed that Tracyn was following a similar path... the same path...

Vexander raised his right hand above his shoulder and with the telekinesis he knew he summoned his blade that ignited just to Tracyn's slash aimed to the chest just in time... the cyan blade clashed and released a few sparkles. The corellian learned a lot from the battle against the Dark Jedi, back then; he was a Padawan with some experience, but he lacked skilled... now things were different.

Using Vulpesen's momentum, Vex aimed to the upper side with his blade with a slash aimed to the chest... the joint attack would strike in two parts or at least it should strike in one of them. "Listen to Vulpesen, Tracyn! Don't give in to the darkside that easily! You are better than that!" Without actually giving him time, he proceeded to use his mechanical right foot to perform a spinning kick aimed at the ribs of the man...

Blessed are the peacemakers
@Vulpesen @Vexander Graves

Tracyn's beskad came across his chest, warding off Vexander's lightsaber with a brutal, and heavy hit. Tracyn noted the use of Vulpesen trying to go for his legs, and jumped upwards, the blade scorching the soles of his beskar-plated boots. A brutal dropkick flung itself towards Vulpesen, but not before Tracyn felt the impact of a foot against his chest. The kick would probably be painful to the user, which he determined was Vexander, and it flung him away. Skidding in the dirt, Tracyn rolled into the tall wheat fields. A gentle wind rocked the golden hairs of the field, making the wheat shimmer in the light for a moment. Tracyn stood in the middle of his family's fields, staring down the trio of Jedi. He dipped downwards, and then ran with both weapons behind his back, and ran towards the Jedi. He reeled his beskad backwards, and threw it directly at the female Jedi, @[member="Saran Drast"].

His lightsaber came behind him, in the reversed grip of the Djem So. He would go after Vulpesen first, in the most brutal way possible. A crushgaunt-adorned hand found itself pressing downward on the large exposed part of his lightsaber- the handle itself. A very big drawback of the double-bladed lightsaber was that close-quarters, was very hard. Especially when Tracyn began to squeeze the metal, his beskar-plated grip, that could crush bones as easily as it could punch into metal. Tracyn was strong enough to crush ultrachrome with a single punch with the gloves on, so it was no question that having him squeezing on a lightsaber handle was not a good idea. He was also able to out-perform Vulpesen in terms of strength, as Tracyn was incredibly gifted at being, very, very, very strong.

He turned his head towards Vexander, narrowing his eyes. His hand that held his lightsaber raised upwards, and a torrent of the force could be felt as it reached outwards, in the form of a push. Moreso less to hurt him, than to knock him on his ass and give Tracyn time to put down Vulpesen.

"You're all going down."

Little birdies kept him in the loop, since his talk with Ashin, he had been keeping a keen eye on the Jedi's doings. He was not as informed as he would liked to have been, but he knew enough, and he knew they were going after Tracyn. A Mandalorian Jedi that Ben Watts himself knew, a fierce warrior, someone Ben did not want to be on the back end of. When word leaked out that they had cornered him on a planet, Ben decided now was the best time to act, he wanted to make alliances with people just like Tracyn. Who had been cast aside and labeled as terrorist to the Jedi cause, a foolish notion, and when they refused to leave him be despite his pleas he knew it was going to end in a fight.

The sound of the wind rushing against his ears as he leaped to the ground behind Tracyn let him know that it was almost time to get his hands dirty. It had been awhile since he had been in a confrontation, but he was not rusty, he spent years being a General for the Jedi's armies and he was not worried about this. Right before he hit the ground, he used the force to push up, creating a tiny crater in the ground as he landed on one knee. The hood of his cloak covered his face and the force illusion he had created would not allow them to know who he was. His force signature was warped so none of them would be able to recognize that it was, in fact, Ben Watts. They would see nothing more than a hooded man who was emanating a powerful aura.

Standing up, he glanced at the scene in front of him, letting his arms hang lazily by his side. "Three on one doesn't seem quite fair," He said casually as he looked between all of them. "Jedi, hm, picking on a man who just wants to be left alone? Shame, I don't suppose I could talk the lot of you into reconsidering?" He slowly walked towards them, trying to create an imposing presence. This was the first time he had revealed his new persona to anyone, the masked man, this would not be the last time they would hear from him.

@[member="Tracyn Ordo"]@[member="Vexander Graves"]@[member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen watched the charge intently. His danger sense was screaming at him but he held still, watching as @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] finally reached for the center of his saber. Nope. Vulpesen was a jedi of adaptability. A sentinel and a shadow, resilience was a key feature and thus he was well aware of the limitations of a regular saber staff. To be honest, he was rather curious at how Tracyn failed to remember this from their little trick on Togoria. With a quick twists of his wrists, Vulpesen left Tracyn to grab nothing but open air as the jedi then sent two separate hilts toward the dark jedi's jaw. Any other man he would have tried to bisect, but this was a fellow jedi, even if he had strayed from the correct path. No, Vulpesen would do his best to capture the rogue, not kill him. As for @[member="Ben Watts"], Vulpesen could se about trnse the power rolling off the man, but he refused to think about it. If he was attacked by him, he would take it. This wasn't a matter of privacy, this was a matter of holding back a force of evil. Be confident that there are voices among us that will stop our peers from doing what is wrong, as though we walk the line, there are some that are anchored and some that have been tested and prevailed. So long ago he had said those words to Master Carn Dista. It was the time of the Army of light and he had spoken of Tracyn in that moment. This was more than a joy and a job. This was, to him, a responsibility and a promise.

As @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] lunged, Saran activated her saber. The purple blade was a glimmer of hope to her, as she needed some way of contributing. As she dashed forward, however, Tracyn rolled away into the field. The Miraluka watched him move through it, and saw the Beskad flying at her before the others would. However, her reaction was still slow. She spun out of the way, but half a second too late. The weapon hit her left arm, making a cut deep enough to disable it, but still the weapon spun on, imbeding itself into the dirt behind her. Forcing herself to overcome the pain, at least for the moment, she spoke, this time her voice as calm, serine, and peaceful as she could make it. "Do you know why you were not blocked, Tracyn?" She moved, blade at ready, as @[member="Vulpesen"] split the saberstaff in two. As he stabbed, she readied an attack at the back of his head, bracing her feat to dodge should anything go wrong. "It's not that anyone was to lazy to remove you, or that no one cared to. It's because there is still hope for you."

A knowing grin spread across Tracyn's face. Vulpesen had done exactly what he wanted to do. Bringing his armored forearm and wrist upwards, the two hilts clang together on the beskar, and Vulpesen was left wide open. Tracyn extended his hand outwards, shoving the force brutally into his hands. It erupted from his hand in the form of one of Tracyn's most practiced moves, the force burst. Vulpesen, due to his proximity and the nature of the burst, was about to be a very unhappy Jedi. Tracyn turned to face the other Jedi that remained. He blinked several times, noting the presence of a powerful new man, who seemed to be on his side. The beskad was recalled to his hand, and he held it in his hand, downwards, the blood from Saran collecting on the field. His family stood on the hill near them, aware of who the mystery tenant now was. He stared at them all, before flicking off his lightsaber.

"I just want to be left alone. I want solace. Let me wallow in my darkness, let me do it in solitude. If you do not leave, RIGHT NOW...I won't be acting as the aggressor anymore. I don't want your salvation. I don't want your peace. I want to accept who I am. Now...begone."

He gave a stare that was both hateful and regretful to the individual Jedi, and a thankful look to the man in the hood, whomever he was.

The foot in Vexander's chest shook his whole body with pain... still, the adrenaline and his regulated breathing allowed him to just take a step back and he kneeled to regain his breath.

Not many people could actually do that, but @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] was no ordinary person, nor an ordinary Knight... in the end, that is why they were there. He was unique in everyway and he had to realize that... in the end, all that he had would just go away if he goes even deeper in the darkside...

Looking straight to the man, the Jedi Knight began to time the battle in his mind in order to know when to get in, attacks were violent and the fight was getting more intense with each passing second. Still, Vexander waited... although he was a good fighter in hand to hand combat, his expertize relied in another field... a different one, a field he couldn't openly display right now... but at least a part of it would be available.

Nevertheless, before he could act, the mandalorian Jedi looked at him straight to the eye... and they both stared for a split second before Tracyn sent a Force Push straight to Vex... opening his eyes widely and placing both of his hands in front, the young man proceeded to perform a similar procedure thanks to his training with Iella E'ron in telekinesis... he Force Pushed away not interested in beating the Force Push but actually nullifyng it, which he managed to do with a good effort.

Vexander was about to proceed with his charge... he was about to work on something when a presence strong in the Force and completely unknown appeared and told them to reconsider their stance. Such move opened the space for a small dialogue... a sentence that Tracyn kept repeating over and over again...

The lightsaber of the Jedi remained ignited while he began to prove with the Force for their allies... and eventhough he could sense they were wounded he was sure that they were ok. The knight knew when to have patience, years in solitude taught him that... in fact, he was fond to the feeling of being just on his own and to dwell in his mind and his thoughts... but there was a difference: he never had the darkside within him in any of those times.

Looking at both sentients: @Tracyn and the other robbed figure (@[member="Ben Watts"]) who he didn't know anything about... Vex decided to slow down the whole pace a bit.

"The problem is Tracyn... this is not who you are... the darkside is twisting you to something else completely different" the knight deactivated his lightsaber but he placed himself in the Makashi opening stance in order to remain ready at any harsh moves from any of the ones present "Solitude might help... might give you what you think you need... but it will destroy you if you dwell in the darkside while you are at it... We can't give you salvation nor peace, but we want you to find them on your own..."

@[member="Vulpesen"] @[member="Saran Drast"]

"Enough of your mindless preaching," Ben aggressively said the words to the group and he placed himself next to Tracyn as he looked at the three Jedi. It was weird being on the other side and saying the things that he was saying, but this was the first time he had used his new persona, he had to make it seem realistic. "What do you even know of the force? Of the darkside? The only reason he would be pressed to the darkside is because you constantly chase after him and set him up for failure by saying that the allure of the darkside will corrupt him. If you call a genius an idiot enough, over time, he will believe himself to be an idiot. Your methods, your teachings, they are all misguided and you truly could not begin to understand how the force works."

Ben reached down and touched the lightsaber hanging on his hip, making sure it was there, he had traveled without it for so long he had to reassure himself that he had not forgotten it. "He does not wish to go with you, so that leaves you three with two options. Option one, the much smarter one, is to leave and go back to your worlds and tell the Jedi that Tracyn could not be "saved". You'll fail your mission, Carn will be displeased, but you'll have your lives. Option two is to continue this belief that you can save him. If you refuse to leave I will personally kill all three of you and I will not hesitate. The only thing the Jedi will ever find of you is the severed pieces of your body I decide to send back. A smart Jedi knows when he is outmatched, and right now, you are on the losing side now that I am here."

@[member="Vexander Graves"]@[member="Tracyn Ordo"]@[member="Saran Drast"]@[member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen's eyes widened as he watched Tracy Ordo's hand reach out. This is gonna hurt! A growl ripped form his throat as he was thrown back, tumbling through the field. "Yeah... ouch." Slowly rising to his feet, Vulpesen called the two halves of his saber back to his hand, attatching them with a sharp twist as he watched Tracyn and @[member="Vexander Graves"] speak. He was about to speak again when @[member="Ben Watts"] stepped forward to give his options. As a jedi and a member of the Army of Light, every code of honor he had screamed against this, but he was still a merchant and a survivor. Ben was right, he knew he was outmatched and he was starting to realize how they were pushing Tracyn away from the light. "Perhaps you're right. Perhaps we should leave. However, Tracyn, I ask you to meditate on where you are. I may not know everything, but I do know the darkside when I see it." With that, Vulpesen deactivated his blade and waited for the others.

@[member="Saran Drast"]

Vexander opened his eyes widely at the robbed man... his options were quite clear and what he had in mind was quite reasonable... but something he said made him be quite surprised.

The Jedi Knight was trained in the Force Cloak and Force Concealment techniques... he knew how to mask the presence, and although he was not strong enough to detect the Force signature of the man next to Tracyn, he did managed to probe him for long enough to determine that there was just something odd about the sentient being in front of them and that he was masking himself from them...

"Interesting..." said while he clipped his lightsaber to his belt and releasing all his desire to carry on with his mission. Nevertheless... opening a Telepathic link with the man, Vexander send a message to the robbed man away from the ears of Tracyn or even his peers... afterall, that was his job as a Jedi Shadow "...Tracyn knew who sent us and our mission because his access to the Jedi Archives were not removed.." walking towards @[member="Saran Drast"], he proceeded to check on her and look at her wounds "...but how would you know where we were...?" The Knight looked back at the man (@[member="Ben Watts"]) "...and that was "Carn" the one who sent us?"

Missions could be hacked and information could be intercepted... but to have such detailed information and details... Vexander didn't know anything about the robbed man, but he was indeed suspicious about him and his stance with the Jedi Order "I guess that we'll leave" following Vulpesen, Vex began to walk away... and return to his ship.

@[member="Vulpesen"] @[member="Tracyn Ordo"]

Saran's saber flicked off, the purple beam falling back into the hilt. Turning without a word, sign of recognition, or even acknowledgment to @[member="Ben Watts"], she reached out in the force to a man in the nearby cantina. "Jacobs, it's time to go." The telepathic message would reach him, and they would be off planet before to long. But when she got back to the Zealot, she put the coordinates O-8 into the navicomputer, and let it plot the course. Opening a comm channel to both @[member="Vexander Graves"] and @[member="Vulpesen"]'s ships, she left a message for them. "I won't be returning to Corosaunt with you. There's somewhere else I need to stop first." As Jacobs returned, the ship took off, blasting into space, and jumped in to hyperspace. Directly to the birthplace of the Miraluka.

"Everyone, just go. I don't....just go."

He stood tall after a moment, then walked to the aging farmhouse, shutting the door behind him. He was weary, he was tired. And he wanted to be left alone.

Ben felt the tension leave his body as the Jedi departed and his eyes darted after Tracyn who was leaving. He contemplated his next move carefully before he continued on, he did not want the young Knight to become angry with him, that was not his goal. He did have some things he wanted to run by him, he was a damaged man, but that was exactly what Ben was looking for. When he was sure the Jedi were gone, he followed after Tracyn, stopping outside of the door before he finally reached up and knocked quietly. If he asked him to go away, he would obey, but he would miss out on something grand if he shunned the exiled Grandmaster.

"You're angry, trapped, things in the Galaxy don't make a lot of sense," He spoke from the other side of the door, his voice soft, but full of emotion. "I have been there, and I understand what you are going through, but that doesn't mean you should hide away like this. I want to show you something, it will take only a few moments of your time."

Tracyn stopped, peeling off his armored gauntlets. He set the chest piece down, turning to face the exiled Grandmaster. He stared at him through the screen door, before moving towards him. Unarmed and unarmored, he was vulnerable, but not without his prowess. Tracyn turned his head towards him fully, his body following suit. He stepped forward, blinking and opening the screen door. He stood, in only his lower armor, his tattooed torso exposed.

"You have my attention, but I do not have your name."

When the door opened, he stepped back to allow for it to open fully, and when his attention had been had a small grin appeared on his face. "May I?" He said, motioned to come into the door, he stepped past him and walked into the farmhouse and looked around. He did not pull his hood back, he would know his face, that was not what he was there for. "My name is Declan Cole, you've never heard of me, not many people have. You see, I am like you, I never really fit into any of those factions. Too many rules I say. A man should be able to do what he wants, when he wants, given the understanding that what he wants is something worth getting."

"The Jedi, the Sith, what does it all mean? Why is it that one is better than the other? Well that's because neither are better than either one, in the end, they both only seek one thing. War. Now, maybe not directly, but just the existence of both groups will always lead to war. For years I was told that there was only one correct way, which way is of no matter, it was not until many years later that I found out that there was another way. A way without a code, without restrictions, a way where one could become capable of his full powers without the ever vigilant eye of someone who was trying to strip them of what they had attained."

Reaching under his robe, he pulled out a lightsaber, he then presented it to Tracyn. It had a distinct force signature forever burned into it. "You remember an old Jedi Master named Ben Watts? That was his, before I killed him." He paused, letting the words overcome him, he was sure it might not sit well with him. "Why? To test myself, to see if my way was truly better, and it was. A shining beacon of hope at one point, overcome by a man who barely even existed, but how? My friend, the force is not about dark or light. It is not about peace, anger, serenity, or pain. The force is the force, it is much like a blaster, a powerful tool that does not have evil or good intentions. Before there were sentient beings, the force was still there, the terms lightside and darkside did not even exist until we made it that way. You cannot be corrupted by the darkside of the force if there is nothing to corrupt. There are only people who use the force for their perceived good and people who use it for their perceived evil. Me? I see beyond that, I see it for what it really is, a gateway to self recognition. It allows me to be the ultimate me, the strongest version of myself, no restrictions. I can show you that path, you have what it takes.... the desire, the strength, you have everything you need to be something more than a label. Jedi, Sith, rogue, all nothing but words when you die. With me, you will not become famous, no, you will become a legend. You die twice. Once when you take your last breath, and once when your name is uttered for the last time, would you like to live forever?"
