The Inquisition of Sekalus (part 1 of 3)

Avreet held much contempt and hatred for the One Sith. This view had boiled over into the Covenant of the Black Rose because Sith were involved with the growth of this Order. If Avreet was to ever change his opinion of the 'monster's little sister' then she would have to be the one to change his heart. Through her examples he would need to see for himself that the One Sith and the Covenant of the Black Rose were opposite sides of the same credit chip. Zarrah's loyal was with the Covenant of the Black Rose.

"Worry not, old friend. Open your eyes and allow their truth to reshape your heart," Zarrah told him stepping out of the shuttle. "At least trust me." It was a long time since she stood in the docking bay of a massive star ship. The sights and sounds seemed almost alien to her. She needed a moment to gather her senses before venturing further into the ship. The Dark Side was strong here. It's energy began to relax her allowing her to continue.

"Can you feel that dear Avreet," Zarrah was asking while indulging in the serene Dark Side energy. "The Dark Side is not tainted. It appears. How can I put this. Different." Zarrah curved the corners of her mouth into a slight smile. This was what she was looking for.

With the rendili woman now on her back, Sanya placed a hand under her bum and one on cam's arms that had crossed over her chest. Immediately Sanya channeled the force through her body at a faster pace than normal. With her own force and the force been given off by the planet she felt as the sky was the limit with how much she could use. Sanya started running leaning forwards and her tail extended behind her for balance. The surroundings where a blur from the speed they where moving, the other croa behind running at the same pace. It didn't take long to get to the city nor was it hard to pinpoint the only building that stood above the rest, that no doubt the government body of the planet was inside panicking. with everyone on the streets it was hectic so there would be no point trying to run through at the speeds she was. Setting cam down Sanya looked to her. "Did you have fun or was that to fast for you?" Sanya said with a smile kissing her on the cheek. "Okay everyone gather in." Saying out loud with them following to her commands. "We are going to head to the big building once inside two to you stay at the bottom. Make sure no one gets up, Infect them if you can if that's no option stun them. Remember there our people the moment we set foot here so we don't want to kill them." Her eyes focused to two of the croa for a moment while she looked at the other three and cam. "As for us where going to go to the top where the other three of you will make sure no one tries to escape without been given our gift to these people. while that is been done me and camellia will take out the leader or leaders. A little unsure of that till are there." For some reason Sanya felt the need to point that out, In honesty no one knew did. it was all guessing games. As everone started to make their way Sanya opened a com to praelior. "I will have their leaders under my control with in the hour. We have reached the city and making our way in now. Expect an update soon once we have control." As soon as the com ended Sanya caught up to the others and started to make their way to the objective.

Darth Timoris

To err is human, to forgive divine. And I'm no god
Another time, another day, another place. Any of these and Melori would have been more accommodating. But she’d set her Apprentice the task of finding her here and had designs on another Acolyte. Her Master’s sister was an unwelcome distraction.

But she was a Sister and as such, Melori owed her respect and time. And she couldn’t help but grin as the young woman gave her rendition of crying to a moon. She was clearly bored and Melori should be honoured she’d been sought out as light relief.

“I am busy…but not too busy. Help me find my Apprentice and let’s see where the conversation goes from there. There is another I seek and would appreciate a few moments with her alone. So amusing yourself with my Apprentice would be beneficial to both of us, yes?”

Before Kendrix could reply, two young women came barrelling down the corridor. She sensed Zaria before she saw her. They’d only met briefly, but her Force signature was already familiar to her. The other, she presumed, was the Vahla she'd been told about.

Their run became a walk as Melori was sighted. She allowed her Apprentice to speak before responding, all the time one eye on the other young woman. She crossed her arms over her chest.

“Never, ever bow to me. I am your Master — but only Jedi live a notion of superiority through rank. You serve yourself. You are neither my servant nor inferior to me. Bow again and I shall punish you.” Her voice was calm but firm.

“And I congratulate you on arriving here before me, I am duly impressed. But I feel the need to teach you a lesson about this bowing nonsense.” She tapped her chin with a forefinger. “Yes, I know…Kendrix here needs amusing. This shall be your punishment.”

With that, she turned away from her Apprentice and faced the red-eyed woman. “You are Ciara, yes? A former Jedi?” She raised a hand to stop the girl from replying. “I won’t say that is no matter. But its value is not what you might predict. You see, I was once a Jedi…although I never made it past a Youngling. Which is immaterial. What is less trivial is my name. Melori. Melori Raaf. Does it mean anything to you?”

The desperate frown he wore as a worried expression clearly displayed the Mon Cal’s thoughts without the need to say a single word. He clearly wanted to trust the wise Togruta, blindly place his faith into her as he had done many times before, but the cold gears of logic and deduction combined with his time within the OS clearly spoke against such decision, his love and passion clashing against his personal mantra as well. He wanted and had to follow Lady Zarrah, but doing so meant working alongside bloodthirsty maniacs – the very same reason that had finally pushed him to make up his mind about betraying the One Sith. This inner torture was far worse than any form of physical punishment his body could ever receive. How was he supposed to choose between bending the rules guiding him his entire life and going against the woman he loved so much? The very concept of betraying his honour, morals, principles – unimaginable, unthinkable. But to go against his old Master’s wishes meant the same – to betray his duty of serving her loyally, to betray her trust and to show he did not trust her wisdom. Blinking rapidly a few times to stop the tears as he paced alongside the powerful Sith Witch, the Mon Calamari nodded slightly.

“I know,” he said, voice trembling, “I shouldn’t be worried – I trust your wisdom, your visions. I trust you, my only Grima. You know that better than anyone!”

His pace through the ship’s cold interior abruptly stopped, head still following the red skinned woman. She did not understand how he felt, why he felt like that. She had not witnessed the One Sith empire’s practices. Unspeakable pain marked the look in his eyes as it became more and more difficult to hold back the urge to cry.

“But I will not open my eyes to see their perversion of our way, I will not allow their taint to poison my heart!” the amphibian whined, “You cannot, must not want that from me, my mistress! They all carry the message of the One Sith, they all follow their twisted path, the sadistic psychopaths! Either we change their ways and turn them into something resembling Sith, or they change us – and the legacy of all Sith will be lost in the Void forever!”

The first salty drops parted with his eyes and impacted the metal floor beneath. His self-control and focus have been lost in the inner turmoil that raged within his heart and mind at the moment, making the simple task of feeling the Dark Side of the Force impossible to accomplish. This was unlike the Sith Lord’s usual state, very much so, but it could not have been helped.

“True Sith have to fight against the One Sith and their insanity – and if this Covenant proves to be nothing more but a branch of the main body, I will fight against it as well.”

Shutting his eyes for a moment, he took deep breaths, regaining the control over his body he had lost so unexpectedly. The Dark Side sang to his senses again and he listened, feeling the familiar signature of his apprentice [member="Kendrix"] near. Smiling faintly, the Mon Cal opened his eyes, staring right at [member="Darth Zarrah"] as he walked up to her at brisk pace. His voice no longer shook, the Togruta would be able to hear uncompromising firmness in it.

“They will become Sith following our way… or they will die.”

One webbed hand landed on the woman's shoulder, grasping it in a reassuring way. Their gazes locked again, amber meeting yellow, but there's been no trace left of the loving gentle softness usually offered to the Togruta. In this moment, that part of Darth Veles ceased to exist, no longer Grima's lover and admirer, her follower loyal to a fault - he became nothing but a calculating pragmatist. A Sith unwilling to allow his wisdom to be wasted on imbeciles and weaklings unworthy of power the Force offered.

“My lady. Grant me your permission to execute the unworthy.”

She continued to soar over the world as more and more the sounds of the people below were coming to her now. There was a grin on her face while she swooped down between two trees with a snarl grabbing one of the ones fleeing while her feet dug into the ground. The Vanr was swishing her tail and when someone was coming behind her she swatted at them hearing a smack and snap from the jaw of the man before she was letting the troopers drag them away with a sneer.

"Continue building the labs commander." There was a look from the others that were there as her team of engineers were working to get the prefab set up. She almost laughed a little while they were moving and she saw something. The beings on this world seemed to be taking any injured somewhere else. She turned and was looking towards the Prudeii soldiers who were there to scout. "Follow them and observe then report to me." She was looking over some of the things and that tickle in the back of her mind was there while she was walking around letting the force energy wash over herself.

Isis continued going through the cave and she found something, her attention coming as she drew up her saber and the launcher whirred into activation. She was interested in what she was seeing as the datapad on her arm was illuminating the area with the colors of the crystals. The Liran had her attention while the feeling of the force throughout the cave was bringing her in more and more with the station being constructed in orbit of the planet. Something for them to be able to use in coordinating and construction. It had the lnterests of the Black rose within it while she took aim at a wall and fired revealing another tunnel.

Azlyn was moving and now getting to put her training to full use as she looked over the destruction... or at least the fear of destruction her master had been teaching her to implant in peoples minds. Her saber was moving as she went into blade combat with one of the and her crossguards slid along to slice at the hilt and break the blade instead of just tiring him out. The darkside here was invigorating her and she wanted to fight more and more as she was going forward roundign people up for Sanya.

"Let it go." Bundori was riding the leviathan she had simply named mister bubbles and had a grin on her face when it tore the roof off a building, the screams inside as she was waving. "HELLO." There were looks from the people before she was moving with her hand pulling him back. "No we don't get to eat them but we do get to play with them as we go forward." She had a wide grin directing the leviathan into the streets.

Now she was in that instinct of it all, hunting and catching the ones fleeing the troopers and their takeover as she was comign deeper into the mountains and lept grabbing a thick branch feeling more of the force with her eyes falling over some of the native creatures. The scout troopers were with her on their speeders before she was moving again. "We are in the mountains chasing some that are fleeing." Her arm came out as she pulled her blade with her slash slicing into a tree and letting the metal slide through it as one of the woman screamed and the was running again.

Sawa Ike

The Dark Matriarch Darth Shōjō
Her apprentice was busy on the ship as high above she could see the construction and th creature. The sithspawn they had brought were searching out ones who had hidden to oppose Lady Sanya and well as Sawa walked she found a nice place in the city she could over look all of it and motioned with her hands. "Bring me a throne... Then construct ones. Bring the bones of their dead and make me a seat here to oversee and draw in those who wish to fight the invaders. THey can come and face me.... in mortal kombat for their families."

The mother with her daughters were in the shop, oh Shinju was so proud of them while she rubbed her hands together with a smile on her face letting the red mane of hair behind her bounce a little with her excitement. "Oh yes try that one one." The little girl was standing there and she was dancing with the owner watching worried from the floor. His wife on the ground with her stomach opened while the little girls were making her guts into garters for their mother with a laugh. She might be insane but this was really insane before they were moving on and forward. "See look how pretty I am now we need to find you two a dress."

Balaya was listenign to it and the plan was simple enough as they were there speaking. "Master we have hit it." There was a look from herself to Elara who was standing there and Balaya slid a small thing from her belt as she was heading into the cave and area they were excavating. Allowing the strength and flow of the force to find the source she was feeling while her familiar squawked near Sanya letting her presence be felt until she was heading it towards the tower to ascend up it and ensure the ones stayed there. Meanwhile with the legion of doom Balaya was touching the ground and letting her croa dig through the earth as they had infected the miners.

Needless to say Sanya really didn't have to ask if the Rendili woman was ok with the ride or not. At first as she climbed atop her fellow Croa and the former Jedi, Camellia had felt like it would actually be a little fun. However, once they actually got going it was just a tad . . . . .unsettling. Of course she had flown in open top spiders and flown starfighters, but there was an element of the fact she wasn't allowing herself to be in another person' potentially not as secure grip when moving at that speed. Once off when they reached their destination she wasn't sick or anything, but she did have to take a breather feeling the vertigo from it all. So as was stated, it was probably easy to see for Sanya without even needing to ask. Though she got an answer anyway. "I prefer being at the controls of something more, but the initial expectation was nice."

Taking the moment while Sanya gave the orders to the Croa Squad, Camellia listened in and nodded affirmatives herself. In all honesty she wasn't even sure who ran this planet in what fashion yet, but nonetheless it seemed like whoever they were, they were bound to become a wonderful Croa soon enough once they got inside and got to work. The only question was if the people here were already mounting their defenses if they detected the Sith's arrival.

Sanya giggled at the comment while the advanced to the spire. The croa that was under her command scratching or biting anyone along the way. "You may not be able to use or understand the force but it doesn't mean I can't let you experience some of it." She said with a smile on her face. "Besides it was faster that walking right?" As the walked the streets with civilians in panic Sanya was curious to why no military or law enforcement had made attempts at stopping them yet. Something told sanya that the majority would be at the spire protecting it. She opened up the com to all near by sisterhood members. "I need everyone with available troops to converge on the spire. We need a clean route in. Once we have taken the spire the rest will fall into place."

They was rapidly closing in the the sound of gun and blasterfire became more prominent. It filled the streets along with the screams of others been subdued or turned into the beautiful croa they will become. "Once we are done here at least we will have another safe haven for our kind my love. A place far out the way and safe. What more could we ask for." She said with a smile. "Not only will you be a queen of rendili but you will be my queen here too." The force using croa soon ignited their sabers glowing either green or blue. Moments after a barrage of blaster shots flew their way. Instantly Sanya stood in front of the rendili woman igniting her own saber with an orange glow. The few shots that came her way Sanya deflected them away. Looking towards the other croa Sanya spoke. "Kill them if necessary, but turning them is priority."

"I understand, Master," Zaria said taking note to never bow to her Master or anyone again. Zaria felt embarrassed by the notion of bending a knee to anyone and felt relief that her Master required no such gesture on her part. Zaria was shocked to see that her punishment would not come by the hands of her mentor but by the one her Master called Kendrix.
Zaria's eyes turned to the unfamiliar girl while her Master struck up a conversation with her friend CJ. The red eyes scanned the girl up and down wondering what sort of punishment this thing had in store for her. Zaria thought about reaching for her weapon but that could only provoke a fight that might not be what her Master or Kendrix had in mind.
Feeling at a loss she said the girl, "Kendrix is it? You heard my Master. I'm to amuse you by way of punishment. Though I doubt you are capable enough to do much harm to me but what will it be?"
Zaria steadied herself to face what this girl would throw at her. The Force? Lightsaber combat? Words? Zaria was eager to get this punishment started so she could try to eavesdrop on the conversation between her Master and CJ.

Balaya continued to watch the two of them advancing as she was sending her troopers towards to help clear the way. er Prudeii were advancing with their energy bows and the rifles while they disabled and injured but didn't kill while letting the croa get in close. Meanwhile Balaya was moving into the caves feeling the rush of the darkside coming more and more to them as she rubbed her hands together and started chanting, the darkside energies coming from her hands with a grin on her face until red tendrils slowly came from her fingers into the wall and reacted with the darkness around them. "Come to me my little one, show me all your secrets." She was walking and there was a black stone in the hand o a corpse near the feeling of the black nexus as she lifted it up.

CJ's mouth dropped slightly when she heard the last name; Raaf. CJ was always quick on the upstart of making connections, and this woman before her was the sister of her former Jedi Master. Two sisters, each on the opposite side of the Force spectrum. What were the odds in a galaxy that had over trillions of species roaming about that she would find herself standing before the sister of Jedi Grandmaster Corvus Raaf. Pretty low if you thought about it, which she tried not to do. Especially now after how Melori Raaf did not care about her being a former Jedi, which alerted CJ to the possibility that the two sisters didn't spend much time together at Raaf family reunions.

"Indeed it does," CJ said smirking then added, "The Force has brought us together."

CJ had long ago banished the word fate from her vocabulary, having seen things in this galaxy and back on the nameless planet when she had vanished from the galaxy. However, the Force was different. It, too, did not believe in fate but some other mystical name she did not know. And if someone told her that was untrue about the how the Force works, then they were wrong. Why? Because her she was after turning her back on the those rude Jedi and her Master, whom he had no ill feelings toward, only to be delivered into the hands of another Raaf. The Force had a sense of humour at least.

"Me. Limb. Here. I'm guessing this meeting between us was no mere coincidence?"

With some of the group off to explore, or conquer, the world before them and others still on board doing whatever it was they were doing, she found herself standing on the bridge looking out the massive viewport. She would, in time, join the party down on the planet but for now she wanted to stay here and ensure no surprises would crop up. She hated the unexpected.
"What's that," she said pointing out the viewport.
"Ah! I was wondering if we would see that," the Captain said.
"I believe we are looking at the Vexos Lights, mi'lady."
The Vexos Lights had been an old lore of some kind created by space travelers who spent their livelihood salvaging old ship graveyards. It was, according to the lore, that if the lights could be seen it meant good fortune to anyone that saw it. It was fitting in her mind. This expedition needed good fortune to ride upon, and with the arrival of the Vexos Lights she knew all the hard work everyone was putting out would soon bear the results they were seeking.
"They are....for a lack of a better term....beautiful."

Avreet's passion was strong. It was a roaring fire with the flickering tips reaching out to consume anyone that followed the ways of the One Sith. He was right. She had been gone and failed to witness the horrors brought on by the One Sith. "Your worries are duly noted my friend. Have you forgotten what the greatest enemy to any Sith Order is?"

Without waiting for him to reply she continued. "Dissension. All throughout the history of the Sith there has always been discord. All throughout it's checkered past factions both small and threatening have sought to rip the Order apart. Each faction always believes their way is better. Their cause is more just than the current state. At the end of the day old friend. Sith are always going to be Sith. The difference is whether they wish to learn the ways of the True Sith or follow helplessly down the spiral of ignorance."

Zarrah walked through the ship in silence. Avreet's mistrust of others was concerning to her. He wanted to destroy the One Sith regime. His dream to bring about a new Sith Order that followed the teachings of the True Sith rested on trust issues. She believed in his crusade. However all crusades needed bodies and followers to make dreams a reality. If he couldn't learn to trust. Then his crusade to rid the evil Sith had already crashed upon the rocky shores of disaster.

"Enemies of my enemies are my friends," she proclaimed. "If you desire to destroy the One Sith, old friend. Then you must learn to allow others to show you that their hearts and minds belong to them and not the puppets. Remember this dear Avreet. For every Sith you kill three more will rise up in their place. If you are killed then there is no one to replace you to carry on your goals. To ensure your absolute victory. You need friends and allies."

"And please refrain from killing anyone," she added with a brush of her hand upon his face. "We currently have more enemies than friends right now. We need not make more."
