The Ivory towers secrets

Without moving his body besides walking, T'zanith made the lightsaber move to be clipped to his belt. "Tell me how was it to not just feel the force but actually use it?" He asked with a smile as T'zanith lead [member="Lark"] to what looked like quite the extensive library filled with old manuscripts of sith lore, schematics for artifacts, philosophy, alchemical secretes and sorcery scrolls and grimoires, with an extensive view of the planet bellow.

Lark

Saint of the Damned
"It was extraordinary," Lark replied. "Almost intoxicating. I felt a surge of power enter my being, a warmth of a like I have never felt before." He gazed down at his still charred hand. "But I also see that I have quite a bit of practice I need to do," he chuckled.

Lark briefly looked around the library he was in, he hadn't had time to stop and examine some of the texts while he was being chased by a horde of murderous beasts. And then, for the first time in over a decade, Lark felt a small twinge of awe. What secrets does this place hold?

[member="Darth Erebos"]

T'zanith chuckled lightly as he heard [member="Lark"] say that. "Well it takes some level of refinement of your abilities to manage force lightning successfully." He said as he lead Lark to a window that overlooked much of the planet bellow. "I am king of this planet and as I embrace their ways and customs, I loose what had made me a sith Lord. You Lark, you wish to become sith do you not?" He asked as his hand reached out and the Blade of Shawken that marked him as the king of Shawken moved into his hands.

Lark

Saint of the Damned
Lark pondered the question. The thought of becoming a Sith had occurred to him before. A line from the Sith Code, Lark had forgotten where he heard it, rang through his mind. The Force shall set me free. "It is something that I have considered," he said in response. "If that's the path I must take to fully awaken, than that is the path I will take."

[member="Darth Erebos"]

Erebos walked towards [member="Lark"] and placed his hand up to his chin. "Tell me then Lark, will you become worthy enough to become my successor?" He asked after he had placed the blade onto the straps around his belt. "I am looking for a successor to carry on my name." He then said as he seemed to be looking into Larks very being to see if he was indeed worthy of it.

Lark

Saint of the Damned
Worthy of becoming his successor? Does he mean someone to inherit his title of Darth? Lark admittedly didn't know much about Sith traditions, but he knew he was capable of learning. "Yes, I will be a worthy successor," he said with confidence.

(OOC: Sorry I wasn't able to post sooner. I've been incredibly busy with school, hopefully some time will open up in a few days!)

[member="Darth Erebos"]

Erebos seemed to stare into [member="Lark"] for a moment as he then reached out to one of the bookshelf's and a heavy old looking book came floating lazily to his hand. "Then first you must learn the ancient language of the sith." He said as he handed the book over to Lark. "Within this tome are my own notes on my study on grasping the force, written with the old sith language." He said as he pressed the jewel on top of the embroidered tome which caused a small holo tap to appear above it. "Here are simple notes on learning the language. You will stay here within the spire until you have fully read and understood what lies within this tome. The creatures will do you no harm but they will devour anyone that enters this part of the spire that isn't me or you." He then said as he watched what Larks reaction would be to hearing what his new master had in mind for him.
