Today, these six are Wardens of the light and the first guard of Veiere Arenais once again. Trained in all forms of lightsaber combat and empowered in the Force, each of these warriors will continue to uphold the virtues of the Jedi Order in their role to provide their commanding officer protection against the forces of darkness and those whom would bring harm upon the innocent.
Equipped with the Jedi Armor that Veiere designed for the use of the Commanders of the Jedi Alliance, The Jedi Vanguard have been given an iron-wall defense against melee combatants, designed to go head to head with other Force Users wielding lightsabers and weapons similar to the Sith Empire.
The robes of the Temple Guard are worn atop the Jedi Armor, used to not only keep the Vanguard's identities a secret but also as a symbol of their duty to protect their Jedi Commander and those loyal to him.
COMBAT INFORMATION:

- Combat Function: Force Warriors, Vanguard protective detail.
- Force Warriors: Trained by the Order of Commenor, the Dark Jedi Order and finally by the Order of the Silver Jedi, under Veiere Arenais watch. These six Warriors are all built and bred for combat. Only this time they're fighting for the Lightside of the Force.
- Armored Units: Boasting a high level of resistance against lightsabers, blasters and energy based weapons, the Vanguard will not be put in the ground without a hard fight.
- Melee Focused: The Vanguard are melee combatants, purposed for close quarters confrontation and do not carry the long range fire-power that other military purposed squads possess.
- Force Users: Beacons of the Light-side of the Force, these Vanguard can be sensed by other Force Users, most notably those of the Dark-side Affliction known to the Sith. Susceptible to force nullifying effects such as Ysalamiri and other force dead artifacts or persons; any such obstacle will render all force abilities void against opposition or environments.
- Ground Combatants: The Vanguard are not pilots, they go where their Commander Veiere Arenais goes. Those in the air will have a strong advantage against them. While lightsabers can deflect in-coming blaster-fire, one man can only make so large a stand before he's overtaken by numbers. These Soldiers are personal guardians of Veiere Arenais, they are not pilots nor heavy vehicle operators.
Formerly these six men were part of The Order of Commenor, otherwise known as the Commenori Knights of the Systems Alliance originally established by the Jedi Master and King, Veiere Arenais before his descent into the Darkside of the Force.
Found within the Ilaria woodlands of Commenor itself, Veiere had full access to the Force Enclave for which he had built years prior to his recruiting the Soverign-Guard; they already trained within the force through a neutral learning stratagem which reflected the very governments stance of nuetrality across the Galaxy, these six individuals had previously committed themselves to serving the balance in all things living, their oaths to Commenor were meant to stand the tides of aggression that they might fight to protect a place of sanctuary and a sovereign guardianship over those wounded and rendered homeless by the outside conflicts occurring and being waged across the far reaches of known space.
Through his personal ambitions however, fueled by his own grief and discouragement over the failures of his past and those within the Jedi Order he had for so long stood to represent and attempt to uphold in their ideologies, Veiere Arenais made a quiet return to the Order of Commenor following the attack of the Iron Knights, they whom had formerly introduced the students of the force on Commenor to a grim and brutal succession of violent attacks slaughtering many of the young. Harnessing the anguish in the wake of this tragedy, Veiere convinced half a dozen of them to follow him over to the Dark Jedi Temple of the world of Rannon where he would then continue to train them, to guide them ever close towards the lure of the Darkside while his own dark powers grew stronger with each passing day; the result of their training has now placed them at the height of the Dark Jedi Order where they reside behind the Dark Jedi Master as his entourage, his Inquisition and sovereign-Guard.

With Veiere's return to the light, and his search for redemption fulfilled, all of the previous assets of the Dark Jedi Order were returned to the Jedi Academy Network in order to prepare for the war against the Sith Empire and the forces of Darkness that still plague the Galaxy.
Over the several years that followed, Veiere regained his place within the Jedi Order with the aid and counsel of Coren Starchaser. Though the Sovereign Guard were forever beholden to Veiere's command, the Jedi Master remained concerned for their Dark-Side affliction; for they were corrupted due to his influence and his former ambitions.
Their retraining would begin with meditation sessions, the Jedi Master guiding the Guard away from the former teachings that had empowered them in darkness, and instead towards the light where their minds would be encouraged to think and feel for themselves. It was a long road to travel, a difficult beginning where their former actions would bring about strong erratic emotions, guilt, anger and signs of trauma. All things that the Jedi Order teach their personnel to distance themselves from, to rise above their resentments, to find peace within themselves and within the Force.
This training would see the Sovereign Guard removed of their duty for these years, where they had previously stood guard over Veiere in all of his pursuits. Through the assistance of the Silver Jedi, they would become temporary students, training every day to hone their strengths and overcome their weaknesses, to improve wherever the Jedi could enable them to, and to become strong in the Light.
Upon the completion of their training under the Silver Jedi Order, the former Sovereign Guard were given armor anew and returned to their duties under the command of Veiere Arenais, dubbed the Vanguard of the Jedi.
