Marauder
The Force was her guide, not her eyes. Her hearing confirmed that she was on the right track. A fire team of confederate soldiers and some kind of droid fire support unit. If she closed to within ten metres or so they would see her through the storm. Possibly from further away depending on what sensors they had.
Tilzi hung the hilt of her saber from her belt and dropped to one knee. In one smooth motion she pulled her energy bow from her back. She thumbed the activation switch on the riser of the bow.
Another deep breath to calm her nerves. The soldiers were just shadows in the storm. Tilzi pressed her eyes shut against the grit and sand and free her bow. A final adjustment of aim and she loosed. She was already drawing the next shot when she heard the droid drop from the air. Each shot was followed by a distinct sound as the energy bolt struck home.
Tilzi pulled her saber from her belt and went to finish the job.
Minutes later
"This is Tilzi Marte," she called breaking comm silence. "The scouts in the east are pulling back." Blaster fire could be heard in the background. "We've done what we can to slow the advance of this flank, but they've dismounted more troops to route us. Those walkers are coming in."
