The Liberation of Dac [Republic vs. Sith Empire]

Watts Class Heavy Cruiser
Republic Envoy Team

Tallia entered the hangar bay with her new set of duraplast armor under her robes. It was clunky and a bit hard to move in, she was after all, only used to the cloth garments of the Jedi Order. But she knew she might be in a bit more heated situation today than she possibly ever had been. The armor was a necessary precaution. She passed down the middle of the hangar. Flanked on both sides were starfighters of various shapes and sizes. Some were bombers, others were fighters, and many were shuttles, for the purpose of getting their forces onto Dac's suface. Their was a hustle and bustle aboard the ship as the engineering crew prepped the fighters for launch, Republic soldiers ran to their designated loading area, and the ships gunners began to warm up the cruiser's devastating turbolasers. Tallia was a calm in the storm. She was completely ready for this and she was excited to a point as well. This may have been the farthest the Republic had ever broken into Imperial territory in quite some time. The Sith seemed to be losing their edge.

She eventually found what she was looking for. A shuttle marked with the blue insignia of the Galactic Republic. She was escorting an envoy down to the surface. It didn't sound like the best idea to her, she would have preferred the senators to wait until the fighting was done before they engaged in any negotiations. Though, she really didn't have the slightest idea was the mission really was about. Tallia was only following orders.

She approached the ship and stood at the bottom of the boarding ramp. "Senator?" She asked. "I'm Jedi Knight Tallia Farn." She looked back into the shuttle and didn't see Akia. Tallia thought they were working together today. "Perhaps shes late?" She thought. Akia had been late once before. When they were getting ready to leave for Ilum to get their lightsaber crystals. The fond memory made her smile. It would be good to see @Akia Kawakami again.

Lavania looked out the viewport while her face scrunched looking down at the planet. She could feel the sith on the world before turning around and making a path towards the hanger bay. The Republic was coming to the world and there were many places to fight in the city but there had been a plan. The ships were made to enter atmosphere and land, the Republics vessels have been able to do it and she spoke to the captain. "Bring us in, with the fleet the Republic brought we outgun the sith by these vessels mere presence." The man gave a nod and Lavania moved while some soldiers came to help them out. Her spells would prove useful on the planet.

"Of course," Eenes replied, shaking Rasu's hand. She stepped aboard the shuttle and secured herself with the crash webbing. She had just finished when Saran began describing her plan. She had met the Miraluka a few times - Eenes had even healed and subsequently fought beside her on Ossus. Still, they had only met a few times, and Eenes wasn't impressed with the dark side impression upon which we plan hinged. Still, she wasn't the leader of this mission. Rasu was. She looked to the Headmistress now.

Vulpesen's ship raced towards the planet, aiming to reach it within the moment. "I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!" As he finally reached his destination Vulpesen was happy to see that the Republic was still in the process of deployment. Seems his worrying was for the most part, for nothing. Leaning forward, he tapped into a com channel. "Vulpesen Torrevaso, reporting for duty. Where am I needed?" As an active shadow Vulpesen was often unable to make it to breifings as such. Suchw as the life as someone who was rarely at the temple. However, he rarely felt lonly as he had his Ashlan Wolf, Ace by his side on those missions. In fact, the wolf was with him now, staying calmly by his bondmates side.

Other than his living company, Vulpesen also had some other weaponry with him. His saberstaff hanged down from his waist, staying just above the ship's floor. Within his robes he had fifteenth daggers, a blaster pistol, and several grenades of varying types. He was prepared. What was he prepared for? He has no idea. But that's why he had so many items on him. It was a way of ensuring that he didn't get into any trouble that he couldn't handle.

Yes there she was. Well at least one of the Jedi that was to join them. Theo’s lips were graced with a smile. Clueless at this point this young lady was of Royal blood in his mind wanted to keep this a little less formal. After all he was about to go into combat. Anyone with experience would rather know who they were going to go into combat with. A shield wall of social and political obligation would ultimately keep him and the young lady doing their jobs when they were in the thick of battle. Still there was some decorum they must adhere to.

Her name did sound familiar he thought while answering [SIZE=10pt] @[member="Tallia Farn"] [/SIZE] ,” Sorry, I am not a Senator.” Still Theo though how to introduce himself keeping the mood light without endangering the political mission ahead of them. “I am Duke Theodious of Alderaan. Though please, call me Theo. We will soon be in a heated situation and hopefully if things go well…we will be surrounded by politics. A little bit of a light atmosphere now will help us all to do our jobs when ground side.” Yes Theo felt good how he done. Between the Jedi Order and his family obligations is was either just Theo Jedi Knight or Duke Theo of Alderaan….not a mixture of both. This was the very first time had had managed a little bit of both.

“As for our other colleague”, Theo shook his head not knowing where @Aika Kawakami , “To my knowledge she is late unless she is in the cockpit talking to the pilots."

Rasu turned towards the interior of the ship as a voice began to draw closer to her. Listening in on the Jedi's request, and analysing her plan afterwards, the Shi'ido was quite impressed with the strategy. Stretching her Force awareness towards the Miraluka, she could definitely understand how people would get confused, however her slightly dark aura, mad it hard for the Shi'ido to trust her completely. This was an important invasion for the Republic and she couldn't have it stuffed up.

"Oh alright. I believe the stealth fighters are docked two hangars across." she said pointing off towards the stealth hangar. "Just make sure you leave immediately, we won't be that far behind you. May the Force be with you." With that, Rasu made her way into the shuttle, and sat herself down in the pilots chair. Passing her hands over the controls as she tried to stop them from shaking. This would be far worse than Ossus, everyone knew that, which only made her more apprehensive for what was too come.

The Fleet's collided with glorious fireworks. The opening salvos had already been fired with gusto and the engineering teams, ICM boats, Interdictor drives, and even the shield-ships were already hard at work. Shields quivered, hull armor melted, tractor beams pushed, mines exploded, and missiles flocked to the sky like angry hornets. It was as beautiful to behold as it was terrifying.

The Republic Fleet closed the gap in Fleet Pattern to within 10 kilometers and then began the broadsiding maneuvers. Since Sith vessels were infamous for kamikaze tactics, Command did not dispatch Boarding Parties and equally maintained proper kinetic distances during the skirmish. This meant no enemy capital ships would be captured or disabled, but did allow for more of the Republic ground teams to be dispatched planet-side and to also be standing ready as Tactical Teams against enemy boarding parties.

With the Fleet's thusly engaged, the fight was now essentially in the hands of the ground teams.

Watts Class Heavy Cruiser - Dropship

He walked up his designated dropship and hopped onto it as he began to hover. Inside were the Republic soldiers meant to lead the first strike into city. Darc kept to himself, looking over them briefly before taking his own seat and strapping himself in. The sounds of blaster fire and explosions from the distance could be heard. The atmosphere of Dac was raining hell and he was to be within it in mere moments surviving the descent into the system. He could feel it within him, the chaos and pain of those that fought and died to either defend the oppression or liberate them from their torment. The Sith, he knew them well, their presence here was much stronger than of Ossus. Their time of requiem was here. For the good of the Republic and all living things that suffered in their wake.

The boy had seen enough, he needed things to be done. he watched as ground teams were starting to be dispatched. he would make the droids take the brunt of the force they could easily wipe out these troopers take their ships.

"Ill just be taking these" He reached into his pocket taking out a signal "Sorry my lord, but ill be needing some assistance for this plan" pressing the button a signal was sent to @[member="High Prophet Dredge"].

"For this plan to work ill be needing you too." Calling through a protected Sith channel he sent a message to @[member="Arvis Syphex"] "miss me?"

SHIPYARDS
The Dark Master slithered back and forth before a certain blast door, flipping his lightstaff absently. The double-ended haft rolled between pudgy but muscled fingers, crimson blades spinning every which way. His bulk shifted in half-unconscious emulation of stances from Djem So, Ataru, Juyo.

A gobbet of slime dropped from his lip as his reddened eyes narrowed in concentration. This day would present no shortage of adversaries, but one in particular stood out to the mind that was, in many ways, cast loose in time. The aeons contained within his skull resonated with the presence of @[member="Darc Xavior Talus"], in subtle ways.

For a Hutt with a taste for Djem So, Rasho the Hutt, formerly Rach Kol-Rekali, the Martyr of Mandalore, could be surprisingly subtle at times. His slave girls assured him of this.

Perhaps the Hutt was content to slither around in circles in front of what was probably an important blast door, but Eosin was not. That was to be expected, of course. He was but a mere Sith Apprentice. Restless and full of life. Life, in this instance, meaning hatred and ambition. Such was the way most Sith worked. Presently the blademaster-aspirant Nautolan leaned against the blast door, arms folded as he watched Rasho.

"Ey, why de hell are we waitan here?" He eventually demanded. "We should be goin an' killan som Jedi. Not watchan dis damn door."

"Patience, Eosin, patience, they will die." The lightstaff inscribed two figure-eights simultaneously. The Dark Lord grimaced. "We have no way of knowing, of course, how many will come to this particular spot. The Force whispers that at least one will make his way here, a Jedi filled with pride, a challenging but not insurmountable foe. Do your best to keep out of my way; he will try to use you against me, keep you between us, throw you as a projectile. That is my educated guess. To a Jedi, Sith are lesser beings, and an Apprentice even lower. You will be an object to him. Use that to your advantage."

A hulking figure watched what appeared to be a Jedi Knight running through the Blackblade Legion and wreaking havoc. Orcus shoved his way toward the scene of chaos, the soldiers around him quickly clearing a path for the eight hundred pound, seven foot tall Herglic. Garbed in XXXXXXL Sith Armorweave and wielding a black, dragon-headed lightsaber that emanated power, Orcus stomped his way into the circle that had quickly formed around the so-called Jedi. The Blacklblade legion had their blasters leveled. Even a Jedi Master would not be able to sustain fire from every direction at once. One only had to ask Ki-Adi-Mundi dead corpse, or the Clone Troopers who slaughtered Jedi across the galaxy. Blaster rifles could do their job as surely as a lightsaber.

Orcus waved an enormous flipper. The soldiers lowered their rifles. Intrigued black eyes looked Tracyn Ordo up and down. The man stood proudly, rage etched upon his features. Gore coated him from head to toe. Bright red blood ran in rivulets across his body. The blood was not his own. Orcus remembered him from the fight in the Jedi Temple, when he had finally seen through the Jedi's lies. He sensed much anger in this one.

The blade in Orcus' hand remained unlit.

"Come, Tracyn, why do you fight us? I sense the love of battle in you, hauum, much as it is in me. Do you fight to destroy, or perhaps fight for a greater cause? I fight for both. I too seek to bring peace and justice to the galaxy, Ordo. My methods are merely, hauum... different. Where the Republic lies about its true methods, I state mine plainly. Do you really believe you fight upon the right side? I thought like you, once. Until I saw the looks of fear the Jedi threw at me. They fear you, like they feared me. You will be scapegoated in time, and cast out. The Sith would make you great. It would be a shame for two great warriors such as us to slay each other upon the field of battle when we could ally our might and win untold glory."

In a more remote part of the city at an old warehouse there were lines of droids sitting down in deactivated. They were here to help out the agent of the horde by keeping him safe and helping the sith out where they could. The signal was sent out to them and the droids activated. Standing up now they rose and began to fall out of the warehouse at great speeds to reach their target. And in this case their target was break, they had to defend him and listen to his orders on the battlefield. They were his personal troops and would take orders from him and him alone.

Running in a stampede they caught up to break and stood at attention, they would follow him until the end. Their bodies cold and metallic built for war and cannon fodder. "Awaiting orders Lord Break." said unit commander in a cold robotic voice. It was a rather interesting sight to an HRD leading a small platoon of droids into battle. All that was left now was to see if break had the moxie to lead the droids into battle @[member="Break"]

"You came out in better shape than I imagined..." The HRD chuckled. "We attack from the rear, from there we will take their ships. wait for further instructions at their ships. We'll be liberating them from the troopers." He looked to the Slicer droids, "Wait for my signal and then attack from the front while they are distracted"

The HRD was packing heavy explosives in his bag. He would be setting them in the above buildings then detonate them creating rubble to prevent the troopers escape, and funneling the troopers and effectivly nullifying their numbers advantage. After his droids killed most of the forces in front The assassin squad would come from the rear and Break being the showboat he is would land in the middle using his sonic blaster he would blow them all away. Effectively ruining their ranks and ensuring the victory. as for Jedi... he had a plan if they showed up.

"Now go."

The HRD left the droids to do their work, setting up the Explosives waiting for the troopers to step into his trap. His lords trust rested on his first battle strategy and he would be damned if it didnt work!

Rasho urged patience, but that didn't sit very well with Eosin. Besides, it was easy to talk about patience when you're a slug with the natural movement akin to that of a stationary boulder. What sat worse with Eosin was the notion of him being but an object to the Jedi. The nerve of those light-sided freaks! Eosin silently vowed to beat the snot out of the next Jedi to come along. Hopefully he could find some way to help Rasho without getting in the way... Or being used as a projectile. That made Eosin nervous, to say the least.

But he didn't show it visibly. Sith didn't get nervous. Especially not Eosin.

"An object?" Eosin spat. "I'll show dat muddafrakka who de object is. Or ya will, I guess. Long as e gets whas comin to 'im."

NEW CORAL CITY
FIGHTING BLUBBER BOY AND OTHER ASSORTED DEVIANTS

Darkened eyes glanced at the direction of soldiers around him. Circle formation. Blasters at the ready. Tracyn hadn't even touched the lightsaber at his side yet, and had decimated the mightiest troops that Kaine had at his disposal, as if they were merely rats with guns and blackened armor. The blood on Tracyn's face ran down his face, the lines and scars creating rivers that made it drip down to his shoulders, chest, and to the ground. It was in all honesty, a sickening, and frightening sight. Tracyn merely snarled at the Herglic, and then glanced to the Blackblade soldiers. He growled at him, and began to build the force into his body, and around him.

A trembling, gore-covered hand slowly raised up and pointed at Hion. It wasn't trembling out of fear, it was trembling out of rage. Hate. Anger. Somethings that had been stowed away so long in The Demon that it was barely even acceptable to call him a man. "The Sith, took my wife from me. The Sith, took my peace from me. And I can never, get it back. You...and your kind...I will watch them burn. I will tear, slice, break, and destroy of what remains of your petty, vile, evil, institution. Now..."

That was when, Tracyn leapt into the air, and spread out his legs and arms, focusing on the blackblade soldiers around him. He had only shown massive displays of force powers while under rages, and although the power that he was becoming was great, it was obviously going to take it's toll on him. Blackblade soldiers were violently thrown back, smashing into walls and the ground, with great impact. Tracyn fell back to the ground, and stared up at Hion. He was once a fellow Jedi, but Tracyn, in his near-feral mind, only saw an obstacle, something to destroy. That's when he reached for his lightsaber, and brought it up to his face.

"It's just you and me, Hion. Come and get me, or get out of my way."

Location: A smelly hutt’s shoulder

Evan flitted and buzzed around her Master – yes, somehow the wistie was sold into the surprisingly small hands of Rasho the Hutt. She didn’t eat as much as the other slave girls so really, she was the best crunch for his credit. Circling the Nautolan, her tiny-feet came to perch on his shoulder.

She was hoping it would smell a little better but instead of smelling like Rasho’s mucus, it smelled more like sardines. Button-nose crinkled as her sharp-golden gaze turned to look at the controls of the blast door. Small voice cut through the silence. “I can slip inside the panel and jam up the blast door controls.” Brows lofted to the ceiling, noting the sprinkler system. That could also come in handy.

She was hoping good behavior would set her free.

Foot tapped against Eosin’s shoulder as she crossed her arms and leaned against one of his tentacles.

“What are you, anyway? I’ve never heard a water-worlder talk like you before.”

With habitual datapad in hand, Sarge lifted his head faintly to look at Diana as she finished her speech and they fell from hyperspace into orbit above the planet he'd woken on so many centuries ago. This time, however, he knew where he was and why. This was Dac, and he was here to take it; mostly just for the shipyards that were so ubiquitous to the planet.

"We ready yet?", he asks boredly. This was a small military operation by his estimation, and the chaotic order being imposed throughout the hangar was something he'd directed more than once in his life. Still, he couldn't help the surge of adrenaline that came from being so close to going to war.

This would be the first time he went toe-to-toe with other Force Users on their turf. He was scared. He'd not show it.

Eosin's hand reflexively groped at one of his lightsabers when the tiny little bug-thing fluttered over, circled, and opted for a perch on his shoulder. In Eosin's experience, small things were usually not sapient. Bugs, fish, whatever. This thing looked like a person. Eosin's brow furrowed. All Nautolan talked like this. Not that he would know, given that he had never seen his homeworld. His dialect was what the other students at the academy had mocked him in, so he figured that was how Nautolans spoke. That's how it worked, right?

"Wot de frak? I'm a Nautolan. Naw ged off mah shouldah, ya sprite-thing!"
