The Jedi Knight had, against his calculations, managed to slice both of his his tentacles without slicing himself in half in the process. The attack was not a completely failed effort however, as in the maneuver @[member="Vulpesen"] had ditched the tentacle aiming for his blaster hand. Thus, as he moved the hand JaK-13 exploited the moment of exposure, taking the point of the tentacle and thrusting it into the side of the man inbetween his ribs. If unimpeded, which it should have been as it was a quick thrust that happened at the exact time his other tentacles were being cut, the stun tentacle would have penetrated through his ribs, causing some damage to them as it proceded through the mans torso, missing his heart just south by an inch as it would have gone through other organs and flesh before emerging on the other side of the Jedi's torso. As before, the tentacle was, at contact, putting through a powerful and painful charge to it's surrounding, which would have been all the more painful coming from inside the Jedi rather than out.
While that was going on the tentacle JaK had put in the man's foot was still crunching, though the shock was no longer there, being diverted into the penetrating tentacle. With the strength of JaK's tentacle he'd likely be cutting through bone now, severing the man's foot off immediately above his ankle if allowed to continue.
The Jedi however, again was proving a bit clever. His Xythan Force Shield was what ship manufacturers would call a 'ray shield', only being able to protect the droid from effects such as blaster bolts, lightsabers, lightning, and other such things. Solid objects, such as the large rock coming towards him from behind, wouldn't be affected. If the droids had eyes in the back of his head he would have extended a tentacle to try and cut through the rock, or stop it, but as he had no such visual sensors he merely pressed his attack on the Jedi. If he was in the Jedi's position JaK-13 figured he would have tried to sever the tentacle that was likely inside of him, so JaK took one of his few tentacles remaining that was at full length and curled it around, going to stab Vulpesen just a couple centimeters higher of where his other stab would have left the body. Thus if he severed his left tentacle he would have had the same strike coming in from the other side at the same time, or perhaps it was severing the right tentacle as the left tentacle made the same strike. The writer wasn't quite sure which side the lightsaber and blaster hands were originally.
In any case, as the Spider droid made his stab the boulder closed in, hitting the durasteel droid from behind, causing significant damage to his rear legs and whatever the spider-droid equivalent for buttocks was. Movement, especially backing up, would be difficult. Another strike of the same force in the same place would probably cause huge damage, but JaK had seen the trick once, and probably wouldn't fall for it again. Then again, based on how the electricity, stabbings, and attempts at severing the man's foot JaK didn't guess the Jedi had much time. One way or another, the battle would likely be over soon.
